The atmosphere in the Jinshi City was calm, people were following their daily routine and enjoying a stroll on the streets. A few of them were going to the river to catch fish and some of them were waiting for the special ferry to arrive from Lotus Bloom City so that they could take their resources to earn money.

Using the special ferry was the only possible way to trade between these two cities now.

As everyone was under the illusion that this day would pass normally too, Lan Yue arrived above the city and enveloped it in her spiritual sense.

"From this day onwards, this city is under Frozen Heart Sect control."

Lan Yue had expected this. The Yin Yang Harmony Sect did not have many allies left to control the whole Eastern Region. It would already be quite tough for them to just manage the core area of the region.

She flew towards the city lord’s residence and shortly after a lot of disciples from the Frozen Heart Sect entered the city.

Everyone was relieved internally. They did not care who controlled the city as long as there was no war which would destroy their normal livelihood.

Most of the cultivators in the city also understood a very critical thing from the Frozen Heart Sect taking over this city, that the Yin Yang Harmony Sect was not able to protect its territory now.

Soon the Eastern Region would be in the hands of the Frozen Heart Sect and it would not be long when the Southern Region was similarly taken over by them.

After taking over, Lan Yue did not stop in the city and began going deeper into the Eastern Region.

Along the border similar scenes were happening with cultivators from the Clear Blade Sect and the Moonwater Sect taking over the cities without any conflict.

Inside the Central Region Lin Feng collected spirit stones and treasures from another sect. He had found seven such sects in one month.

The amount of spirit stones he had would be enough to last any sect for decades without gathering or mining any extra spirit stones.

Just as he was about to go search for another sect before finally going further deeper into the Central Region, he heard a faint sound of an explosion.

He flew up and looked towards his back. A vast circle of dense darkness had just recently escaped a spatial tear about a few miles away.

"Who activated it?"

Lin Feng was really bewildered. He was not too much deeper into the Central Region but he doubted anyone would come here.

Was this another attempt by the Yin Yang Harmony Sect to find a good treasure?

He had found three grade nine treasures too but none of them were enough to garner his attention.

Well if it really was them then he did not mind burying them here.

When he arrived near the area, he opened his spiritual sense and what came to his perception was a single woman in the late stage of Tribulation Ascendance.

He was surprised. The height and her bodily curves were enough for him to figure out who it was. She really was not someone whom he expected to meet here.

He could see that she was in a confused state feeling his spiritual sense and it was obvious that she could not use hers to perceive him.

The spiritual sense is suppressed in this veil of darkness, so even a Tribulation Ascendance cultivator would not be able to perceive more than five thousand meters.

It did not apply to him since his spiritual sense also had the attribute of the pure yang element.

He circled around the sphere of darkness and came in front of her, "I Was not expecting you here, Senior Bai."

Bai Qingya got stunned too, "This feeling is mutual. Seriously this was the last place I was expecting to meet anyone, much less you. What about the attack on the Eastern Region?"

Lin Feng shook his head,"There is no need for me being there."

Lin Feng looked at the sphere of darkness which was slowly dissolving into the environment and said, "Do not worry about me, Senior Bai. Rather I do not think you are truly safe either."

Bai Qingya smiled while shrugging her shoulders,"I am chasing freedom so taking risks is given. In fact this makes me feel more alive."

Lin Feng looked at her deeply. He could see that her state was definitely similar to what he could describe as someone trying to comprehend something. "I see, so you are here to find insights to break through, Senior Bai."

Bai Qingya was surprised, "How did you figure that out?"

Her cultivation technique was unique and unknown in the world. She doubted anyone had knowledge about something like that.

Lin Feng took a small breath, "Let us just say that I have knowledge about some things which you might find unbelievable."

Bai Qingya got intrigued. She looked at him with smiling eyes. She knew that he was very mysterious but surely he was not all knowing, was he,"Interesting, can I ask something then?"

Lin Feng sighed and nodded, "As long as it is something that is answerable, I will answer."

There were a few things which he would never answer, even if he was indebted to the person.

"Well it is not much of a hard question. I just wanted to know if the all knowing Daoist Lin knows about the tragedy of the Central Region?" Bai Qingya’s smile widened.

Lin Feng on the other hand became relaxed. It was not something he minded telling her. "Fine, I will tell you about it."
