Dual Cultivation: I Summon Villainesses of Mythic Era-Chapter 38: Draconic Bone Sword
With a gesture of pure will, he extended his right hand toward the spatial void. The air in front of him tore open revealing a black fissure from which emanated an overwhelming pressure. He plunged his arm into the abyss and withdrew a blade made of bone, similar to a vertebral column.
The sword emitted a shrill buzzing, a frequency that made the bones of everyone present vibrate.
The blade, forged from the bones of a primordial dragon, emanated an aura of absolute domination. It was the Draconic Bone Sword, a precious rank artifact that his mother had given him for his personal protection.
With a movement of a rapidity surpassing human perception, BaiShe performed a horizontal slash at a distance.
A purple and black shock wave, charged with pure murderous intent, split the air. The attacker, who was now only a few centimeters from Ling’er, was literally vaporized by the attack. The sword strike did not merely kill him; it erased his physical existence, leaving behind only a cloud of blood that fell like fine rain on the horrified face of the young woman.
BaiShe now stood in front of her, the dragon sword in hand, his silhouette standing out against the desert sky.

The combat was tough. BaiShe’s illusory swords cleaved the air with shrill whistles, cutting down the bandits who attempted a desperate approach. The young master was not only using all his Law Master power; he was injecting it with a pure will of extermination. He was no longer seeking to conserve his Qi or to play the sage. The affront they had committed by laying their hands on what he considered his property demanded an exorbitant price. At least in Ling’er’s point of view.
"Die, insignificant insect !"
He raised his right hand toward the zenith. The Draconic Bone Sword began to vibrate between his fingers, emitting a buzzing so powerful that it seemed to want to tear space itself.
Suddenly, the blade began to grow. It stretched prodigiously, becoming larger and larger in the sky, transforming into a colossal pillar. The gigantic silhouette of the sword finally obscured the declining sun, instantly plunging the entire area into shadow.
The bandits, even the Law Masters remained petrified by the magnitude of this power.
However, manipulating a relic of such power at his current cultivation stage was not without consequence. BaiShe felt his meridians, although reinforced by his Immortal Sage lineage, groan under the pressure of the Qi required to maintain the colossal form of the sword. At the ultimate moment, as he was preparing to bring down the blade to erase all life before him, his body reached its temporary limit.
A sharp pain tore through his Dantian. BaiShe abruptly bent forward, a jet of scarlet blood spurting from his lips.
"BaiShe !" cried Xuan Ling.
Despite her hatred for this man who had betrayed her in her previous life, despite her resolution to remain distant, her body had acted on its own. She rushed across the battlefield, dodging the debris, to hurry toward him.
"*Cough*... Go away Ling’er... *Cough*," articulated BaiShe with difficulty, wiping a trail of blood with the back of his sleeve, while keeping his gaze fixed on the enemies.
Ling’er arrived at his side, her trembling hands as she tried to support him. She saw the pallor of his face and the instability of his Qi.
"You are going to die you idiot ! This was not your business, why did you put yourself in danger ?" she shouted.
She plunged her hand into her robe and took out a high-rank spiritual pill, whose pure medicinal fragrance instantly purified the ambient air. It was a precious treasure she had set aside for her own breakthroughs, but she did not hesitate for a second to hand it to him.
BaiShe turned his head toward her. A strange smile stretched his bloodied lips. Before she could make him ingest the remedy, he made a hand gesture. A flow of silver Qi burst out, instantly solidifying into a translucent and impassable barrier that imprisoned Ling’er.
"Little idiot... do you think any random person can look down on my Immortal family ?" he asked, his voice regaining a sovereign coldness despite the blood still flowing from the corner of his mouth.
He approached the barrier wall, his gaze plunging into his adoptive sister’s eyes.
"Only I have the right to intimidate you, Ling’er. The others deserve to die." he murmured with arrogance.
He turned away from her, facing the horizon. The Draconic Bone Sword, still suspended in the sky, began to illuminate with a purple glow.
It was at that precise moment that the spatial void, a few kilometers above them, had tears of several hundred meters long appearing in reality. Suddenly, thousands of spiritual warships, adorned with the emblems of the Xuan family, burst from the fissures.
The spiritual pressure that fell upon the Deserted Lands was so monstrous that the bandits still standing were instantly crushed to the ground, their bones cracking under the weight of the aura. Hundreds of powerful silhouettes left the decks of the ships to descend toward the ground. Among them, the aura of at least ten Overlord stage cultivators saturated the atmosphere, making any resistance absurd.
The Xuan family reinforcements had arrived.
"Young Master !" exclaimed one of the Overlord commanders, kneeling before BaiShe with absolute deference. "We perceived the emanation of your sword. Please forgive our delay."
BaiShe, who had deactivated his own technique once safety was assured, adjusted his monocle with regained nonchalance, ignoring the barrier where Ling’er stared at him with an indecipherable expression. He pointed to the few pathetic survivors crawling in the dust.
"Capture the survivors. I want to determine the exact affiliation of these attackers,"
After a few minutes of brutal interrogation conducted by the Overlord guards, the commander returned toward BaiShe, his face marked by a new gravity.
"Young Master... according to the ritual marks and the broken mental seals, these men belong to a shadow assassin organization that operates in the intermediate realms," reported the guard.
BaiShe narrowed his eyes.
"Their name ?"
"They call themselves...Shadow Garden," replied the commander.
While the Xuan family fleet began to secure the area and the transport ships descended to collect the heir and his sister.
