Orange Bear's words left Liu Ergou momentarily at a loss for what to say.

Seeing him silent, Orange Bear continued, "Since that's the case, I can't be selfish and keep you all to myself, right? So, how about this? I'll be your girlfriend too! What do you say, Er Gou?"

Her words plunged Liu Ergou into silence. He never expected Orange Bear to say something like that. He had imagined that upon learning he had so many girlfriends, she would surely scold him for being a scumbag, a fickle-hearted playboy. But what happened instead? She offered to become his girlfriend as well. This sudden turn of events made Liu Ergou's brain short-circuit.

Seeing Liu Ergou's silence, Orange Bear thought he was refusing her. So, she began to act coquettishly.

"Er Gou~ since you already have so many girlfriends~ adding one more wouldn't make a difference! Just say yes, please? I really like you, Er Gou. Give me a chance, will you? Pretty please! Say you'll agree!"

Liu Ergou had precisely zero resistance to a woman's charms. Seeing Orange Bear act so coy, he immediately threw up his hands in surrender.

"Alright, alright, stop acting cute. I'll agree, okay? You can be my girlfriend!"

Hearing Liu Ergou agree, Orange Bear immediately stopped her act, about to raise her hands and cheer. But before she could express her joy, Liu Ergou spoke again.

"Don't be so happy just yet. I need to be upfront about a few things. You'll be my girlfriend, and they are my girlfriends too. But as for who I'll marry, I still don't know. I can't favor one over the others. Understand?"

The words had barely left his mouth before Orange Bear nodded emphatically in agreement. "I understand, I get it!"

With that, she suddenly slid off Liu Ergou, then firmly flipped him over and straddled him once more. Looking down at him, she giggled.

"Er Gou, now that you're my boyfriend, shouldn't we do the kinds of things that boyfriends and girlfriends do?"

Hearing this, Liu Ergou was about to open his mouth to speak, but Orange Bear leaned down sharply and pressed her lips against his. The kiss ignited a fire in Liu Ergou, and he lost all control. He pulled her into a tight, unapologetic embrace and began to kiss her back passionately.

They continued like this for a long time before reluctantly parting. Liu Ergou looked at Orange Bear's flushed face and chuckled before taking the initiative. In a few swift moves, a vast, enticing scenery was laid bare before his eyes. Looking at the sight before him, Liu Ergou's appetite was greatly whetted.

Just as he was preparing to get down to business, Orange Bear suddenly stopped him. This left Liu Ergou confused, wondering what she meant.

Seeing his bewildered expression, Orange Bear smiled and said, "Don't be in such a rush, Er Gou! Look, it's only noon. We have plenty of time, so let's take it slow. No need to be so rough."

Unfortunately for her, Liu Ergou's eyes were practically spitting fire. He didn't hear a single word she said. Swallowing hard, he extended his large hands and pulled Orange Bear into a tight embrace.

However, before he could make his next move, there was a sudden knock on the office door. This instantly snapped Orange Bear back to reality. She subconsciously moved to open the door, but as she sat up, she realized most of her clothes were gone. Opening the door like this was clearly out of the question.

With this in mind, she nudged Liu Ergou. "Er Gou, quick, go open the door for me. I'll get dressed. I'm really fast, it'll just take a second!"

Orange Bear then picked up her clothes from the floor and hurriedly began pulling them on. Meanwhile, Liu Ergou straightened his own clothes, walked to the office door, and opened it.

As soon as the door opened, he saw a woman in a secretary's uniform standing in the doorway, holding a thick stack of documents. Liu Ergou was about to ask what she needed, but the woman simply pulled one file from the thick stack and shoved it into his hands. Then, without another word, she turned and left.

The scene left Liu Ergou dumbfounded.

What did that woman mean? Why just shove a file at me and leave? I'm completely useless when it comes to this sort of mess. If I were left to manage this company, it would go bankrupt in a few days.

As Liu Ergou was pondering this, Orange Bear, now fully dressed, came up behind him. Before he could speak, she naturally wrapped her arms around him from behind and whispered, "Who was that at the door, Er Gou? Why didn't I hear anyone talking?"

"It was a woman dressed like a secretary, probably yours," Liu Ergou replied. "She handed me this file and left without saying a word."

With that, he passed the file to Orange Bear. Taking the document, she didn't dare treat it lightly and immediately began to review it. After reading it, her smiling face grew serious.

"Er Gou, something's come up. I can't continue with you right now," Orange Bear said apologetically. "I'm really sorry. This is serious, and I have to deal with it immediately. Why don't you head back first? You can come over again next time I'm free, okay?"

Seeing the serious expression on her face, Liu Ergou knew she wasn't lying. He didn't say much more, simply bid her a brief farewell, turned, and left her office.

Once Liu Ergou was gone, Orange Bear took the folder and immediately returned to her desk to handle company business.

Meanwhile, having left Orange Bear's company, Liu Ergou couldn't help but shake his head as he walked down the street.

That woman, Orange Bear, is just too much. She gets me all fired up and then just leaves me hanging. I know it wasn't her intention, but she's the direct cause of this.

The thought gave him a headache.

Next time, I'm definitely not going to engage with her again… unless she comes looking for me!

At this thought, Liu Ergou chuckled to himself, then casually hailed a taxi and returned to the hotel. Arriving back at his room, he flopped onto the bed and gave a long, lazy stretch.

He Mingxue, who was sitting nearby, saw him stretching and suddenly spoke in a sarcastic tone. "Oh, you're back, Er Gou? Which sister were you out playing with this time? You look completely worn out!"
