He Mingxue's words made Liu Ergou's expression darken.

"This... this woman! Why does she always have to be so blunt?" he thought. "And the truths she tells are always the kind I can't refute. It's infuriating."

Although what He Mingxue said was true, Liu Ergou had no intention of admitting it.

But Liu Ergou shook his head, refusing her.

"Ms. He, that cream doesn't even have an approval number yet. How could I dare give it to you?" he explained. "Besides, as a businessperson, you should understand that one small oversight can be a fatal blow. I absolutely will not release this product before it gets its approval number. Besides, Snow Skin Cream isn't even in mass production yet! I literally don't have a third bottle!"

After hearing his explanation, He Mingxue nodded. "Fine, I understand. If you don't have any, you don't have any."

"But let's make a deal," she added. "When Snow Skin Cream is mass-produced, I have to get the very first batch. Got it?"

For Liu Ergou, this condition couldn't have been simpler.

He immediately puffed out his chest and assured her, "Don't worry, Ms. He. That's an easy request for me! The first batch will definitely be saved for you!"

Hearing Liu Ergou's guarantee, He Mingxue finally nodded in satisfaction. And just like that, the issue of the perfume scent on him was successfully dropped.

He Mingxue lay in Liu Ergou's arms, making idle conversation with him.

Without even thinking, He Mingxue replied, "Besides me, the only other person would be my housekeeper."

The moment the words left her mouth, she realized their implication.
