Dimensional Hotel-Chapter 551: Complete Chaos
Above the Boundary Land, the "World Bridge" extending from a distant dimension continues to "grow," while pollutants seeping from the remains of the ancient Outer God relentlessly corrode the Big Shield. On the surface of the Big Shield, countless large and small cracks continue to spread and grow, and the viscous shadows seeping through the cracks drip into the city, transforming into terrifying chaotic illusions.
The fog is spreading, and the city undergoes "flipping" block by block. To protect the Boundary City on the reality plane, the Special Service Bureau has had to replace more and more sections of Mist City and reality, despite their best efforts to reverse those successfully purified areas. However, as the pollution continues to expand, the "Foggy Zones" in the entire city inevitably increase.
Now, the boundaries between virtual and reality globally are gradually becoming blurred, and the uneven mist is slowly spreading throughout all the blocks. Mist City and Real Boundary City coexist intertwined, and deep in the fog, all buildings and streets are seemingly cloaked with a bizarre filter.
"It’s over, it’s over... We’re really doomed this time..."
Luo looked at the surroundings, hearing the rumbling of heavy weaponry firing from afar, and the Big Shield overhead occasionally emitting sharp and unbearable whistling. Finally unable to resist the urge, she started muttering, and as she murmured, a group of shadows wandering from nearby blocks had already noticed the "prey" there.
Those shadows had almost lost their human shapes, appearing more like monsters from the Outer God’s nightmare, seemingly gathered with all the mortal’s fears of death and end. The shadows twisted, mutated, and charged forward in a terrifying manner along the nearby buildings and twisted roads.
Yet in the next second, Luo saw another group of entities formed by shadows appear from the mist—the Wolf Pack from the Black Forest seemingly descended from nowhere within the fog, unhesitatingly charging toward the gathering monsters.
"Snow White, are you ready?" Little Red Riding Hood took a moment to turn her head and look at the short-haired girl standing not far away.
The short-haired girl waved without looking back: "Alright, alright, everything’s in place. Make sure your wolves watch overhead—don’t get stepped on—"
In the next second, Luo heard the sound of heavy footsteps, along with the scent of thunder and flames scorching the air.
Feeling the heavy pressure descending out of nowhere, Luo looked up in shock.
She saw seven giant figures stepping out from the mist—clad in armor forged from elements of lightning, fire, steel, ice, their hair and beards bristling, reminiscent of the gods walking the earth in ancient myths.
The unlucky elf, contemplating the end of her life, was dumbfounded at that moment, watching one of the Thunder Giants easily pick up the short girl with a few fingers onto his shoulder, and then the seven "mythical beings" charged through the entire block under the girl’s command. In an instant, the shadow monsters everywhere were being flattened and smashed.
Luo held back for a while, finally couldn’t help but shout: "What the hell is this?!"
"Snow White and her seven Thunderbolt Titans," Little Red Riding Hood said matter-of-factly, but quickly reacted, "Oh, right, extreme types like you probably don’t read children’s books..."
Luo furiously protested: "I told you I’m a sci..."
But as she spoke half of her sentence, she suddenly felt a foreboding warning rise in her heart, a gust rushed by her ear, and as she turned, she only saw a vague shadow pouncing at her, managing only to hurriedly conjure a spiritual power fireball—but before it was fully formed, a nearby Titan Giant charged over in two steps. Without hesitation, he grabbed a streetlight pole from the side and smashed the shadow onto the ground.
Luo only felt the Astral Wind rushing in her face, broken stones and soil showered her head and face, forcing her to awkwardly dodge aside: "Oh my god—"
But her exclamation was soon drowned out by the successive rumblings nearby.
The number of monsters around was astonishing, and the battle between the Wolf Pack and Thunderbolt Titans was entirely unlike any battleground environment Luo was familiar with. After almost being crushed by a Titan Giant three times, Luo decisively scrambled back into the "booth" where the portal was located, clinging to the door frame and refusing to leave.
But just as she thought she might be a bit safer, a figure suddenly burst through the door, knocking Luo, who was holding the door frame, out into the open ground.
The unlucky elf, dizzy and disoriented, hadn’t even managed to get up when an excited voice exploded in her ear: "You all didn’t tell me there was a fight going on! I’m here to help!"
Luo shook her head vigorously, opening her eyes to see a beautiful girl in a plain silk dress standing with her hands on her hips, her face spirited—but under her waist was a snake tail several meters long.
The Snake Princess rubbed her fists: "Who do I hit, who do I hit, it’s those crooked things, right!"
"Where did this come from..."
As Luo’s mind conjured up this sentence, she saw a nearby Thunder Giant stepping towards her. She instinctively dodged aside, but then saw the Titan bypass her directly and casually picked up the Big Snake Demon’s tail.
Luo didn’t react, nor did the Demon.
A mass of viscous shadow dropped from the sky, rapidly forming in the mist.
The Titan Giant grabbed the Snake Princess and swung her around, striking the shadow mass with a loud "plop," scattering the thing with a resounding crack.
Air was filled with the anguished cries of the Snake Princess: "Oh damn—no one told me Snow White and her seven guardians were here when I came! Oh damn, stop it... Ah!"
"Whoosh—smack!"
"No, no, I can fight by myself..."
"Smack! Smack!"
"You’re damn... not meant to be used this way—"
Luo lay on the ground, dumbfounded, watching this violent scene, watching the Thunderbolt Titans wield the several-meter-long demon like a whip, the thick mist was shattered and dispersed by the gale, forming a spreading vortex—she suddenly thought she’d rather be in that space station that could disassemble at any time.
"Who, who, who, who is this again?!"
"She’s called Snake Princess," Little Red Riding Hood said as she commanded the Wolf Pack without turning her head, "she’s a demon, freeloading for meals."
"...Why do you even have a freeloading demon?!"
Little Red Riding Hood glanced at Luo: "Don’t you keep small animals in your kindergarten over there?"
A loud roar echoed from afar, a giant dragon engulfed in flames fell from the clouds, and a small mushroom cloud rose into the sky at the end of the block.
Luo’s expression was somewhat distorted under the flash of the mushroom cloud: "Damn, I’m begging you to use some black psionics..."
However, Little Red Riding Hood didn’t pay any attention to Luo’s frantic mumbling, and instead looked up at the giant snake fighting bravely alongside the Titans, and shouted, "Snake Princess! Why are you here alone—where’s Mr. Yun?"
The Snake Princess danced in the air: "What did you say—I can’t hear, the wind’s too strong!"
Little Red Riding Hood shouted at the top of her lungs, "I said, why hasn’t Mr. Yun come—the battle outside is heating up!"
"Shuji sent people!" Snake Princess also shouted, "They said they delivered a batch of weapons, and the Old Man Yun is afraid the kids can’t handle it, so he went to greet them himself... Whoa... Haha!"
Little Red Riding Hood looked up, watching Snake Princess fly around the Titan Giant’s hand in circles, and suddenly frowned.
"Doesn’t it seem like she’s having fun?"
Just as she spoke, she noticed Luo Zheng sneaking towards the teleportation gate booth, and immediately glared: "Where are you going?"
"Can I go back to hide first?" Luo was almost in tears, "It seems you don’t need me here..."
"No way, you’re a dangerous element."
"But it feels like everyone here is more dangerous than me!"
...
At the center of the canyon within the Hub Pyramid, a door in the teleportation gate hall was opened by someone from the opposite side. After a brief stabilization, Mo Ran and several confidants walked out of the gate.
Amidst the confidant elites were three special "guests" being continuously monitored—Withered Court Elder, Blood Young Master, Bone-devouring Immortal.
"Don’t cause any trouble here," Mo Ran turned to the three behind her, instructing, "This is Yu Sheng True Monarch’s Exotic Realm Cave Mansion, being able to enter here is your fortune. If it weren’t for your merits in artifact refining, you wouldn’t have gotten this opportunity at all."
While speaking, she glanced up around the extremely spacious hall before her, feeling the style here was very ancient, heavy, and even the entire building seemed like a whole giant rock naturally grown from the creation of heaven and earth, her heart suddenly felt slight tremble.
Even though Yu Sheng previously left a fixed teleportation gate between Shuji and the canyon, it’s still her first time personally coming here... Nothing short of a True Monarch’s handiwork.
Shuji has several recently restored operational mining fields also directly "grown" and repaired by True Monarch using secret techniques; I think they’re similar great divine powers, right?
Behind Mo Ran, Withered Court Elder and Blood Young Master, Bone-devouring Immortal were also stealthily observing their surroundings without any expression.
No signs of any mechanism creatures, no feeling of spiritual qi secret techniques, not even any decent guards visible.
"Before coming here, I accidentally heard that ’Yu Sheng True Monarch’ is not in the cave mansion," Withered Court Elder secretively transmitted a message to the other two, "We’re only here to deliver items to his inner sect disciples..."
"Why, got any ideas?" Blood Young Master smiled as usual, though his eyes slightly flickered, "If we screw up, it might be life-threatening."
"Just thinking, thinking doesn’t violate any bans," Withered Court Elder lowered his gaze, "But then again, what if... This place is no longer within Feiyu territory, just one step, one step outside..."
"Anyway, I’m too scared to think," Bone-devouring Immortal’s eyes sparkled as he looked at his two companions, under the iron mask, the usual creaking sounds could still be heard occasionally, "You two didn’t dare directly engage with that ’blood,’ I have, and that thing... is extremely sinister, even more sinister than you, old man."
Withered Court Elder’s eyes flickered, he stopped speaking, and just then, they noticed several figures appearing at the hall’s entrance.
It turned out to be some half-grown kids with no cultivation aura.
"Mr. Yun is coming soon!" One of the half-grown kids approached Mo Ran, curiously watching this group of strangers visiting the canyon for the first time, speaking boldly without any sign of timidity, "There’s a battle going on outside, Red Hat Sister and the others aren’t here..."
"Mr. Yun?" Mo Ran paused, unable to react for a moment.
"Oh, he’s the grandfather who guards our orphanage~The guardians have all gone out, Brother Yu isn’t here, the teachers are all off-duty today, so he came to welcome you."
Mo Ran was still stunned, while behind her, Blood Young Master and the other two had instinctively exchanged a glance.
There’s a battle happening outside the True Monarch Cave Mansion! The senior members within the gate are outside defending! Here only a group of unrefined children remains—and an old man guarding the cave mansion!
Essentially, the surrounding threats are left to Mo Ran and the elite companions she brought...
Blood Young Master’s eyes were on the verge of bursting with delight, about to bloom into a wide grin...
But just couldn’t get past the eyelids.
Because the next second he saw an old man with an immortal-like aura walk in through the entrance.
The cultivation level of the old man was beyond his ability to comprehend—but the itching stick in the old man’s hand seemingly exceeded Bone-devouring Immortal by half a realm.
Withered Court Elder, Blood Young Master, and Bone-devouring Immortal raised their heads to exchange a look, glancing at each other.
A moment later, the three’s eyes were filled with determination as if they were willing to brave fire and water for the Boundary Land.
Of course, they could also brave fire and water for other purposes—following wherever Yu Sheng True Monarch directed them would they venture.
...What kind of damned place is this where someone seemingly at least at the Supreme Unity Realm is here acting as a guardian grandpa!
