Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf-Chapter 66: Brewing Storm

An hour later a group of 12 people stood in front Adrain looking confused, they could barely focus on him.

They were still trying to adjust to their new senses and strength, some almost tripped after miscalculating their speed.

Sam tried to act normal but Adrian can sense his excitement, " Go back to Sanchez’s house, I’ll meet you there."

They all bowed and left leaving only him and Sam, " So, What’s your new ability?" He asked and Sam grinned.

" It isn’t anything that powerful." A bust of light appeared on his hand and transformed into a curved sword a metre long.

Then he made another on his left hand, " I can create swords using my lunar esper." Adrain nodded.

It was a simple ability, while simple, it was anything but weak, these swords were so sharp they can cut through almost anything.

" That’s not all right?" He asked, he could feel that Sam has another ability now and Sam started laughing.

His bones snapped and in less than two seconds he had transformed into his werewolf form.

However Adrain could see the nationality in his eyes and knew Sam wouldn’t lose control when taking his werewolf form.

Sam turned back, " Yeah, I can control my transformation now but it seemed to drain a lot of esper, I can’t hold it for long."

Adrain nodded with understanding, he didn’t have the same problem of course, for him, his werewolf form was just another physical form.

It wasn’t an ability like it was with Sam so it took as much esper to maintain as it does to maintain his human form which is none.

" What now dude?" Sam asked and Adrain stood up.

" I have a feeling a war id coming, I should test the strength of my army." He left and Sam followed.

On the backyard of Sanchez, the werewolves stood facing their leader, now as werewolves their senses were stronger.

More importantly they felt a connection to him and knew instinctively he was their creator.

His presence made them feel like they were standing in front of a God and that terrified them, they were very nervous.

Adrain sat down and Sam stood forward, " First, I would like to welcome you into the Lunar clan.

From this day forth, you are mighty werewolves, in your hands sit a lot of power, do not forget that.

Remember though, that power comes with a price, you are to be loyal and serve the clan faithfully.

Betrayal will not be tolerated." That made them shiver, Sam was a higher ranked werewolf now.

They could all feel the bloodline suppression from him. " Now then, I know you all awakened some form of ability, I will be testing those abilities."

The new werewolves looked confused and Adrain sighed, " They can’t control their esper yet, they haven’t awakened any abilities."

Sam underwood, he used the same method Adrain had used the same method on him and awakened their esper.

Two hours later he came back, " I’m assuming you’ve all figured out your abilities?"

They nodded with excitement, Sam tested them one by one and as Adrain had expected.

Werewolves were naturally powerful, Adrain noticed that long ranged abilities were very rare.

The only one with a long range ability was Suzie, she could shape her esper energy into fist sized spheres she can launch like bullets.

Those spheres packed a lot of punch, they were able to pierce a hole even through Sam.

Most awakened weapon creation abilities, including extending long silver claws of energy like daggers.

Only three awakened pure physical enhancement, Marcus awakened a speed type enhancement like Sam.

John awakened a defence type, he could form a thin layer of faint energy that works as a shield.

It was able to take even Suzie’s spheres, Adrain couldn’t wait to see the couple having arguments.

They’ll probably destroy the entire house in the process. The last one was a woman named Melissa.

Her enhancement was one of strength, Melissa used to be a boxer until she was in an accident.

She had toned muscles and looked like a fighter, her punches were so powerful the wind they generate can kill a human.

Of the 12, five had unique abilities and the rest had weapon type abilities, the weapons ranged from swords to even more unique ones like kurasigami.

Adrain clapped once and they all turned towards him, his eyes turned towards one woman.

She was one of the five, her ability was stealth, when she used it, her body turns invisible.

However it went beyond that, it hid the sound she made as well as her scent, even Adrain was barely able to smell her.

" You, What’s your name again?" He asked and the woman bowed at him nervously.

" Anita my lord." She answered, Adrain nodded and called her forward, " I have a different task for you, find me later."

The woman nodded, late at night she came to find Adrian and he gave her her task and she left.

For the foreseeable future, he planned to train them to use their abilities and coordination.

He could feel that something was coming and he wanted to be ready. Adrain did just that.

He took them around the city hunting at night and two weeks went by, in that time they’ve killed nearly 50 vampires.

South of the city, in Karon’s house, three figures sat around a table facing each other.

Each more vigilant of the other but they pretended to be relaxed, these were the three noble vampires.

" Karon, why have you called us here?" A middle aged looking vampire asked, it was baron Ezell.

Karon twirled a glass of blood on his hand and smiled, " I believe you’ve heard of the human female who grew stronger after consuming a blood of some creature?"

He asked and both vampires nodded, although they weren’t clear on the details, their spies within the organisation had informed them of this.

" You’ve also noticed that a lot of subordinates have been dying a lot lately."

They didn’t say anything, they knew of course but they didn’t care about the livesbof those worthless slaves.

" What if I told you, the cause of both is the same creature, and what if I told you I know where to find it."

That drew their attention, as vampires, the quality of blood they ate mattered a lot, something that can strengthen a human so much.

Would certainly possess high quality blood no doubt, they were tempted.

" What are you offering Karon?" A sweet voice asked.
