Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf-Chapter 65: Full Moon and the Pack

Rosa was awoken by the smell of coffee, she groaned and opened her eyes next to her bed was a tray.

It had toast with eggs and bacon and two cookies on the side. She sat up straight and her eyes met Suzie’s.

" Thank you, that was unnecessary." She whispered but Suzie just smiled.

" Just doing my job ma’am." She replied then bowed and left, Rosa didn’t even know where the girl got the maid uniform she was wearing.

It was black and white and reached just below her knees, what she didn’t know was that Adrain brought it last night.

It was also then that he told her and her partner John to be diligent in their duty and they were terrified of him.

The two of them were 20 years old, while Suzie has worked as a house cleaner before, she had never been a personal maid.

John had never done hard labour in his life but this morning he woke up before the sun rose to attend the garden.

That’s how terrified they were of Adrian, Rosa got off the bed and looked out the window.

She saw Sam pruning the maize garden diligently and admired these kids work ethics, if only she knew.

Then she caught the sight of multiple figures on her front lawn, confused she immediately rushed down stairs, leaving her breakfast behind.

" What’s happening here?" She asked Suzie who was addressing the group of people. Suzie looked at her and smiled.

" Ma’am, these are the knew recruit brought by lord Adrain." She replied not even realising how weird calling somebody lord in this era was.

" Adrian brought you here?" She asked the group directly and a man stood forward, he was dressed like a hobo.

" To answer the lady, we do not know the name of the lord, last night we received a voice that offered us salvation.

And then this morning we found ourselves standing here, we seem to have sleep walked here." 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Rosa Sanchez rubbed her temples and felt a headache coming, Adrian did say more people were coming but this was too much.

There were 8 people in this group, each one looking worse than the other, 3 women and 5 men.

If she didn’t know better she would’ve thought they were...’ Did Adrain take homeless people?

I guess that would make sense, no connections, nothing to lose and just desperate enough to take his offer.’

She sighed, this many people disappearing would certainly draw the attention of the police.

If one of her colleagues come here and see them, she’ll be in trouble, she’ll need to register them as workers.

She had accepted that her house was going to be used as a base for Adrian’s wolf pack as he called it.

She started arranging things, some of these people even lacked identification but she took care of that.

With her money and connections, doing all of that was an easy process then trouble came.

She didn’t know how it started but news spread that, detective Sanchez, daughter of the famous Sanchez enterprises was hiring.

However she wasn’t merely hiring anybody, she was looking for those without any help or connections to the world and nothing to lose.

The post said directly that, even an idiot would see how suspicious that was, she had to make a public appearance to clear things up.

She did admit to hiring a few people who had lost everything to give them a new lease in life.

The media came to interview these people and found out they were all living a very good life.

Others grew envious, they tried applying to work for her but after Adrian did a little checking on them and determined they had a lot to live for, they were turned down.

This disappointed a lot of people but there was nothing they could do, Rosa’s life grew lively much to her dissatisfaction.

Her colleagues treated her like a hero of sort and she had to suck up all the praises, it was exhausting.

And just like, the month was nearing its end, in the past month Adrian only found two other people.

A couple who lost all three of their children after they were in a car accident, only to find out the perpetrator was a drunk guy.

But he faced no consequences because he was the son of a mayor, instead the husband lost his job.

Their house was confiscated when the mayor brought out a fake deed and they lost their home.

Had the husband not been a cautious man, they would’ve died because their car suddenly exploded.

Fortunately he had bought a tent and decided they should sleep far from the car but close enough to see it.

As expected, whine camping in the woods and hiding beneath a large bush they saw somebody plant a bomb.

That person first searched for them and when he didn’t find them he planted a bomb in their car.

Luckily for them, Adrian found them a few days later before more attempts could be made on them.

Now they were hiding in Rosa’s house waiting for the full moon tomorrow so they’ll finally become werewolves.

So, the pack was going to gain 12 new members tomorrow, frankly, Adrain was very excited.

" Is everything ready?" Adrain asked Sam who also could barely hide his excitement, tomorrow he would become a Gemma werewolf.

Sam nodded, he had 30 handcuffs made on the past three weeks and had them enchanted by a witch.

Those handcuffs were already installed in the prison like rooms in the basement and were ready for use.

Adrian nodded, " Well done." The day of the full moon came, Adrian had already told all of the new recruits where to go.

As night approached, a group of people appeared in front of his house, leading them were John and Suzie who was dressed like a maid.

Sam led them downstairs, then had all of the women in the same room and the men in one room.

They were told to strip if they loved their clothes, some did but most chose to keep their clothing.

Time came and the moon reached its peak, it cast a silver glow upon the world and roars followed.

The first transformation was the most painful, the skin rips itself apart, your bones break and mend themselves to fit your news form.

It was excruciating, even after that, transforming is still painful just not as the first time.

Adrain kept himself calm in his werewolf form with a dagger in his heart until morning came.

He had used his ability last night and saw the forms of others but cancelled it before the transformation ended.

He didn’t want to see them naked, " He removed his bindings and the dagger in his heart.

" When they wake up, tell them to meet me upstairs."
