"So, how many were assigned to you?" Erika asked Aaron as they ate breakfast.

"Five, three girls and two boys. Two girls and one boy are from powerful families, but the remaining two are from a commoner background. Though their parents are awakeners, they belonged to the support or crafters classes. They don’t have any inheritance if the information provided by the academy is to be believed", Aaron spoke, as he pulled out five files, handing them to Erika.

Though she didn’t ask for the files, he knew that’s what she wanted.

She wanted to know about the girls, especially.

Whenever Aaron speaks with other girls, she would join the conversation, making sure that the conversation with the girl doesn’t end up in bed.

Erika has gotten a bit attached to Aaron, a bit too much, but Aaron didn’t mind at all about that. The girls he spoke with are the ones who would initiate the conversation in the first place.

Unless he had to speak with them, he wouldn’t go out on his way to speak with the girls.

He knew with his increasing fame, there were many who wanted to know him better, especially in bed. People would walk whichever path is easiest for them.

Many girls see him as an easy way to fame. Dating him publicly would surely put them on the public radar.

Aaron and the girls kept their relationship private because there were too many eyes on Aaron, and if they found out about his relationship with the girls, they too would be famous, but that’s not the fame that they wanted.

Though Erika didn’t achieve any feats, her family was well-known in the world. Almost everyone knew who she was because of her family. So, the desire to be recognised for her feats runs higher in her.

Also, if the relationship comes out, there is a chance that Aaron’s fame might disappear, and he would be associated with Erika’s family, which is not something he wanted to.

So, they kept the relationships private, but that made other girls have dreams about being with Aaron.

If not for Aaron’s lack of interest in forming a relationship with every girl he met, almost all of the first-year girls would have ended up in his bed.

"Oh, it looks like two of the five students are already here", Aaron muttered and then turned to Erika, "I have to go and be a guide for them. See you later", he kissed her lips before leaving.

"See you later", Erika waved her hand.

It was like a wife sending her husband to work.

"Ah, I should leave too. The newbies allocated to me would be here too", Erika thought and began to get ready for the day.

Aaron, thinking that someone might arrive early in the morning, went to sleep and woke up early. When Erika woke up, he has already prepared breakfast. So, she sat at the table after brushing her teeth. She could have waited, but she wanted to eat alongside Aaron.

Now that the breakfast part is over, she went to bathe, as she too would get messages about the new students arriving at the academy, and she didn’t want them to see her like this, which would leave a bad impression.

He didn’t run over. If he arrives quickly, that would make it look like he has nothing better to do than be a guide to the students. It would create a bad impression of him in their minds.

When he arrived, he could see Arnold’s arrogance projecting itself onto Alyssa.

Arnold’s profession was Fire Mage, B-rank, while Alyssa’s was Dark Mage, S-rank.

Aaron could see that Arnold is trying to court Alyssa, who came from a commoner background, and this was something Alyssa seemed to ignore, but couldn’t as Arnold kept coming near her and kept talking, trying to win her over, one way or another.

If he courts someone from a powerful family, that would be great, but with his B-rank profession, he should have thought that it might not be possible. So, he settled for a girl who has no background but awakened S-rank profession.
