The Crystal Ball is nothing but a container, and the colour is due to what it was containing. What is inside is called Undead Lightning. It is one of the most dangerous lightning out there. Though it was not rare, it was not easy to capture and contain it.

If it were other elements, it could combine with their attacks, it could give an extra boost in the agility of the skeletons or create shields made of lightning. It could be anything that is possible. No one can say for sure what would manifest and what wouldn’t.

In this way, this ritual could help Aaron grow stronger, but indirectly, as the strength would be given to the undead, rather than directly to him.

Once the ritual was done, whether the undead was an old one or a new one, it didn’t matter, even if it was a new type of undead that was summoned from a new skill that he learned after the ritual.
