Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 305: One Thing Subdues Another
Helen was extremely angry. She took a deep breath and nodded, "Want to play with me, huh? Fine, you don’t have to be responsible for me, as long as you can endure the harassment from my seven aunts and eight uncles."
"You!"
Cole Hawke’s expression changed, "Helen, is this fun for you? I don’t love you. Clinging to me like this, you’ll only hurt yourself in the end."
Helen looked at him, "Arthur, whether I get hurt in the end is my business. You haven’t even properly engaged with me, how do you know you won’t fall in love with me?"
Cole Hawke met Helen’s earnest gaze, and his heart stirred slightly.
"You really like me?"
"Yes! It was love at first sight for me."
Helen nodded, not denying it.
It was as if a pebble had been thrown into the calm lake of Cole Hawke’s heart.
"Am I that charming?"
"Yes, because you have a kind heart, you’re a good man. I like that."
She likes him!
Cole Hawke looked steadily at the earnest-faced Helen, the small ripples in his heart turned into waves.
He was a man, proud and vain.
How could he not be pleased by such a straightforward confession from a woman?
Strangely enough, the woman before him started to become more attractive in his eyes.
"Alright, it’s getting late, my two sons need to sleep, I must leave now."
Damon Hawke saw this and curled his lips into a smile.
He couldn’t help but praise Elara Don in his heart.
Truly the woman he had his eyes on, she’s wise.
How did she know to pull a fast one like this?
Leaving Cole Hawke with no time to put his thoughts on her.
"Where are you going?"
Cole Hawke snapped back to reality, stood up, and asked.
"Back to the hotel."
Damon Hawke wrapped his arm around Elara Don, gazing at her with overflowing affection.
He was eager to enjoy some quality time with his little woman, it’s been too long since he last had any.
"Which hotel are you staying at? I’ll go with you."
Cole Hawke was about to follow.
Helen grabbed him.
"Where do you think you’re going? Stay with me."
Cole Hawke glared at her, "Woman, have you no shame?"
"Man, do you crave it or not?" Helen countered boldly.
Cole Hawke was speechless, unable to retort.
The main thing was, as certain unsuitable images crossed his mind, a tingling sensation spread across his spine.
Damn it, why is a man who just started dating so easily tempted?
Elara Don looked back at the scene, finding it amusing.
Fortunately, with Helen’s cheerful and open-minded attitude, she managed to keep Cole Hawke busy.
Always something to balance another.
"Let’s go."
Elara Don held Bea’s hand, looking at Damon Hawke.
Damon Hawke nodded, holding one son’s hand while wrapping his other arm around Elara Don, ready to leave.
Just then, his phone rang.
Damon Hawke stopped in his tracks and took it out to see it was a call from Chase Quinn.
Chase Quinn wouldn’t call if there wasn’t something.
An uneasy thought flashed across Damon Hawke’s mind.
"Speak."
"Master, Miss Hawke has been taken."
"What! Didn’t Rhun inform you? Didn’t you send someone to protect her?"
Damon Hawke’s heart sank as he questioned.
"No, after I got the call from my brother, I immediately sent someone to protect Miss. But someone got there faster than our people and took her."
Chase Quinn hastily replied.
Damon Hawke’s eyes were dark, and the air around him grew colder.
"Quickly increase manpower and find her whereabouts."
"Yes.
After hanging up, Damon Hawke looked at Elara Don, "Elly, I need to return to the country right away. You and the kids stay in Country F for now, I’ll come for you after I’ve dealt with things."
Someone had started targeting him, and he needed to put his all into the fight.
"Tom, we’ll go back with you."
Elara Don looked worried and quickly responded.
"Elly, you’ll be safer here. Once my identity is exposed, it’ll implicate you and the kids, so it’s better for you to stay here for now."
Damon Hawke advised.
"But..."
"Trust me."
Damon Hawke interrupted Elara Don, calm and confident.
Elara Don moved her lips, but ultimately said nothing.
Damon Hawke squeezed her hand and looked at Cole Hawke, who had come over.
"Arthur, my mother’s in trouble, I need to return immediately. Stay here and take care of them for me."
Cole Hawke frowned, glanced at Elara Don, wanting to question why he should listen to him.
But in the end, he swallowed his words.
It had come to this point, what was the use of arguing with Damon?
In the future, they would see each other frequently.
"Alright."
Absorbed in his chaotic thoughts, Cole Hawke nodded in agreement.
Damon Hawke patted him on the shoulder, a hint of relief in his eyes.
"Dad, are you leaving now?"
Dominic Hawke suddenly spoke, looking up at him.
Damon Hawke lowered his eyes, ruffled his hair, "You two need to listen to Mommy, I’ll come for you after I sort everything out."
Dominic’s face was serious, holding onto Damon Hawke, "Dad, wait a second, give me your phone."
His son wanted his phone?
Damon Hawke looked puzzled but handed the phone to him, "What do you want with my phone?"
Without a word, Dominic took the phone, sat on the couch, and began tinkering with it.
Everyone gathered around, Helen’s eyes widened when she saw him accessing a small program.
"Are you a hacker?"
Everyone: "..."
"Yes, don’t be surprised, my brother’s a little hacker."
Bea proudly puffed out her chest, responding on behalf of her brother.
Elara Don was shocked, her mouth wide open, barely able to believe her eldest son was a little hacker.
Beside her, Damon Hawke raised his brows, pulling Elara Don into his embrace, a hint of pride in his eyes.
Truly his son, more promising than himself.
Helen stared at Dominic for a long time until he finished with the phone, then spoke out.
"It’s you, you’re the new recruit, Little Orange, in our organization, aren’t you?"
No wonder Helen found Dominic’s voice so familiar.
She initially thought the hacker used a voice changer app, but it turned out the hacker was Dominic.
Dominic smiled a little sheepishly before his expression turned serious as he returned the phone to Damon Hawke.
"Dad, I installed a tracking system on your phone. Wherever you go, Mommy and I will know."
Damon Hawke took the phone, raised an eyebrow, "So, you’re worried I’ll do something behind Mommy’s back, so you installed software to monitor me?"
He was joking, everyone could tell.
Dominic also understood, but still replied seriously, "Yes, any problem with that?"
"No problem at all, I’m willing to be monitored by you two."
Damon Hawke curled his lips, then said, "Alright, I really have to go now."
There were still things he hadn’t arranged yet.
Damon Hawke left the apartment under the reluctant gazes of Elara Don and her children.
Outside, he dialed Andrew King’s number.
This was his biological father.
At this point, he had to talk to him immediately.
