Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 306: She Really Is My Woman
The phone rang twice before it was picked up.
A man’s slightly hoarse voice came through the static, with a hint of surprise.
"Tom?"
Damon Hawke paused for a moment, lips lightly parted, "Master, no, should I call you dad?"
One sentence, and Andrew King’s breathing halted.
He was stunned, surprised, let out a word, "You..."
"Let’s discuss this more when I come back. Right now, there’s something more important to tell you."
Damon Hawke suppressed the emotions in his heart, "My mom has been taken away. It seems their target might be you. What will you do?"
"What? Cough, cough, what exactly is going on?"
Andrew King was stunned and couldn’t help but cough lightly.
Damon Hawke spared the greetings, simply said, "Someone knows about my lineage and probably wants to get to my father through my mom. I’m still in Country F, far away. You need to contact Chase Quinn immediately; he’s tracking my mom’s whereabouts."
Upon hearing this, Andrew King reluctantly suppressed the coughing.
"I understand. I’ll contact Chase Quinn right away to find your mom. I won’t let anything happen to her."
Damon Hawke paused, "I’ll hang up now. I’m heading back to Sea City immediately."
"Tom, wait." Andrew King called out.
"What else is there?"
Andrew King paused, "Son, I’m sorry."
The voice over the static was filled with endless sighs and apologies.
Damon Hawke gripped the phone tightly, suppressing the countless thoughts in his mind.
"Let’s talk when I get back. Just make sure my mom returns safely first."
"Okay."
Andrew King hung up the phone, looking ahead and sighed deeply.
His son finally discovered the truth!
He can finally recognize his son!
So, should he thank the person who took Vinny Hawke?
Thinking of this, Andrew’s reflective expressions gathered, eyes flashed with a hint of cold hostility.
Who dare kidnap his woman?
If anything happens to Vinny, he certainly won’t let them off!
Andrew King took a deep breath and dialed Chase Quinn’s number.
The call connected quickly.
"Mr. King."
"Chase Quinn, where are you?"
"I’m tracking Miss Vinny Hawke’s location."
Chase Quinn quickly reported, "She is moving toward the northwest."
Moving northwest?
That area should be Henry Harris’ territory.
Could it be Henry Harris who took Vinny Hawke?
Andrew King’s face turned gloomy, instructing Chase Quinn to continue watching, then hung up.
Henry Harris has grown increasingly arrogant in recent years, even setting up his own domain now.
Why did he take Vinny Hawke this time?
Is it because he wants to use his son’s lineage to swallow the Netherworld Organization?
Everything will be clear when he sees Henry Harris.
Andrew King coughed lightly twice, entered the study, opened a locked drawer, and took out a weapon.
Haven’t used it in a long time, hopefully won’t have to use it.
The serene high mansion.
Vinny Hawke watched as Henry Harris sat leisurely on a rosewood chair, sipping tea, her brow furrowed.
"Uncle, what do you mean? Why did you suddenly bring me here?"
The ’bring’ she refers to is a pleasant way of putting it.
An unpleasant way would be kidnapping.
That Henry Harris, just because his son wants to reform, he keeps going against her son every now and then, what exactly does he want?
"Miss Vinny Hawke, calm down, don’t worry, I won’t hurt you."
Henry Harris put down the teacup, scrutinized Vinny Hawke, eyes filled with a hint of amusement.
This woman, despite her age, is still charming.
Thought she was a spinster, didn’t expect she had kids long ago!
"What on earth do you want? Surely it’s not just to have tea here in the middle of the night?"
Vinny Hawke asked angrily.
Henry Harris got up, slowly approached her, "Miss Vinny Hawke, I’m curious why you’re hiding your son’s background. Who is his father?"
What!
Why did Henry Harris suddenly come out with these words?
Could he have found out about Tom?
Vinny Hawke was startled, eyes flashing with a trace of panic.
"Uncle, what are you talking about? I can’t understand."
"You really can’t understand?"
Henry Harris looked at Vinny Hawke with deep meaning, "No worries, you’ll surely understand in a while."
"Uncle, what do you mean? Move, I want to go back."
Vinny Hawke angrily moved past him to leave.
Henry Harris blocked her, "Don’t go, Miss Vinny Hawke, I know you get along well with Old Andrew, don’t tell me Old Andrew is Tom’s father?"
He figured out the relationship between these two!
How did Henry Harris even know?
Vinny Hawke glared at him, "I don’t know what you’re talking about. Uncle, you’d better let me leave as it would avoid an ugly confrontation."
At this moment, a subordinate rushed to report.
"Second Master, Andrew King is bringing people over."
Upon hearing this, Henry Harris’ eyes lit up.
The person coming is indeed Andrew King.
So, the lover Vinny Hawke hid for over twenty years is truly Andrew King?
"First, take her away, then let Andrew King in."
Henry Harris spoke, his men came over to take Vinny Hawke away.
Vinny Hawke panicked, shouted, "Uncle, what on earth do you want? Do not harm Andrew."
"Oh, so worried already? Still denying you both have an affair?"
Henry Harris smiled playfully, watched as Vinny Hawke was taken away.
A moment later, Andrew King was brought in.
As soon as he entered, he aimed the weapon at Henry Harris.
"Brian, while I can still talk nicely, you’d better obediently hand over the person."
Henry Harris stared at Andrew King’s grim face, not angry.
"Kyle, after being brothers for over twenty years, you’re pointing a weapon at me for a woman? Seriously?"
Andrew King scoffed, "Stop pretending, Brian, let’s not beat around the bush. You brought Vinny here because you want to know if she’s my woman, right? I’ll tell you right now, she is my woman, and we have a son, Damon Hawke."
He exposed himself!
Henry Harris stared blankly at Andrew King, didn’t expect to get the answer this quickly.
"Kyle, when did you get involved with Miss Vinny Hawke? Since you got her pregnant, why didn’t you marry her and instead kept it a secret from everyone?"
"That’s my private matter, none of your business."
Andrew King’s face turned gloomy, "Now, I’m giving you one minute. If Vinny doesn’t appear safely in front of me, don’t blame my bullet for being merciless."
The bullet chambered.
Henry Harris’ face darkened too.
"Alright, Kyle, do you really think I’m scared of you? Quickly put away your weapon. Your woman is fine."
Henry Harris spoke, signaling his men to bring her out.
Andrew King remained silent. Only when he saw Vinny appear unharmed in front did he finally exhale in relief.
"Vinny, are you okay?"
"I’m fine."
Vinny Hawke shook her head, glanced at Henry Harris, hesitated to speak.
Andrew King could probably guess her thoughts, put his arm around her shoulder, patted gently, silently comforting.
"Brian, considering you once saved my life, this is my last time forgiving your actions. If there’s a next time, if you dare hurt my woman and child, I’ll surely oppose you to the end."
