Seng shook his head and said, "No, Er Gou."

He wasn’t so dumb as to think that Lin Xuan Qi was a mere mortal after Lin Xuan Qi was able to escape from him.

To him, Lin Xuan Qi was a perfect prey for him to rob, with Lin Xuan Qi being a mere mortal in Wan Shou Fang.

"You can try if you want to, but I’ve warned you about it.

"Don’t come running to me crying if you get beaten into a pulp by that man." Seng said and tried to warn Er Gou.

Er Gou ignored him and said, "Why would someone like me at Qi Concentration Level be afraid of a mortal like him?"

Seng saw that it was no use trying to convince Er Gou.

He shrugged and walked away from where he was.

Er Gou made his move and he started to trail behind Lin Xuan Qi.

Lin Xuan Qi, who was done for the day, wanted to get back home, but he noticed Er Gou who was following him.

He shook his head and slowed his pace.

Er Gou wanted to slow down to accommodate but Lin Xuan Qi suddenly stopped and turned around instead.

Lin Xuan Qi pointed at his groin and said, "Why have you wet yourself?"

Passersby heard him and they stopped in their tracks to look at what was happening.

"What? No!" Er Gou protested and he glanced down at his groin.

But it was indeed wet.

Lin Xuan Qi had used his Water Spell on him and made his groin area wet.

"I’ve never thought I would see something like this here."

"I thought that he should be old enough to take care of himself."

"His ancestors must be rolling in their graves now."

The passersby mocked Er Gou when they saw what happened.

Things happened so quickly for Er Gou and he tried to get away from where he was.

"Get out of my way!" He shouted and tried to see where Lin Xuan Qi was.

Lin Xuan Qi had taken the opportunity to get away and was now at least a hundred meters away from Er Gou.

He ran as fast as he could while he took out the sun and lotus Artifacts, one in each of his hands, and got ready.

Er Gou didn’t give up and he took out an Artifact that looked like a wood carving of a leaf.

He injected his Spirit Qi into the leaf and it gave out a green glow.

The green glow engulfed Er Gou’s body and his body turned into leaves.

The leaves flew towards the direction of where Lin Xuan Qi was at a tremendous speed.

Lin Xuan Qi frowned when he glanced backwards and saw the leaves behind him.

He quickly ran into an empty street he had scouted earlier on his way to Wan Shou Fang.

The chase went on and at the speed that Er Gou was going, Er Gou would catch up to him very soon.

Boom!

After Er Gou followed Lin Xuan Qi into the empty street, fireballs came out from nowhere and they hit Er Gou.

"Argh!" Er Gou gave out a cry of pain after which the leaves gathered together and his body appeared again.

He cursed and wanted to give chase but his first step made him slip onto the ground instead.

Another talisman that was on the ground had turned into water and made the ground slippery.

Lin Xuan Qi saw what happened while he ran and he was pleased with the effectiveness of the talismans.

He hesitated but after so many humiliations, he knew that he had to get hold of Lin Xuan Qi.

Er Gou took a deep breath and turned into the street.

A bright flash appeared and it made the night as bright as day.

He tried to shield his eyes from it with his hands but it was too late for him.

The bright flash had blinded him for a moment.

He couldn’t see what was happening but what he felt next made him regret his decision.

None of this would have happened if he had listened to Seng.

Lin Xuan Qi had directed the lotus flower Artifact at Er Gou and injected his Five-Element Qi into it.

The Five-Element Qi shot out from the lotus flower in the form of needles towards Er Gou.

The needles numbered in the hundreds, covering an area of at least thirty meters, and they penetrated through Er Gou’s body.

Once the Five-Element Qi got into his body, it started to wreak havoc on his Spirit Qi.

When Er Gou tried to muster whatever Spirit Qi he had to heal the wounds, the Spirit Qi was nullified by the Five-Element Qi.

It dissipated as soon as it came into contact with it.

Er Gou gave out a roar and he lashed out in all directions.

He tried to use his fist and unleash a torrent of Qi waves at Lin Xuan Qi.

But he was only able to do so a few times.

Vines came out from the ground and they latched onto his wrists.

Er Gou struggled and tried to break free but couldn’t.

Lin Xuan Qi used the Wood Spell to contain Er Gou and he pointed the lotus flower Artifact at Er Gou again.

Hundreds of needles made up of Five-Element Qi shot at Er Gou.

They penetrated through his body and he slowly slumped to the ground with numerous holes in it.

Blood started to pool underneath his body.

Lin Xuan Qi was pleasantly surprised by the Artifacts and he figured that their effects must have been many times greater with his Five-Element Qi.

He pointed the lotus flower Artifact at Er Gou and slowly approached with caution.

But Er Gou lay motionless on the ground.
