"Great."

Though they were speaking lightly, neither was being truthful.

Seeing it was getting late, Ruby Sullivan made a video call to Seth on the car, and Seth immediately jumped out of bed when he saw it was mom, "I’ll go find Honey right now, we just finished bathing, she must still be awake."

"Wait, son." Ruby Sullivan quickly stopped the sensible Seth, "Mom wants to ask you a favor."

Seth sat obediently on the bed, looking serious, "Mom, go ahead."

"How long has it been since Dad came home?"

"Three days."

"After school tomorrow, ask the driver to take you and Honey to the company to find Dad, no matter what he’s doing, bring him home to rest immediately."

"Mission guaranteed to be completed." Seth said confidently, after which he couldn’t help but reach out to touch the screen, "Mom, is your work going smoothly over there?"

Ruby Sullivan knew this was her son’s way of expressing he missed her, but he wouldn’t say it directly, so he always asked about her work to guess.

After hanging up the call, Ruby Sullivan’s eyes became slightly wet, and she swallowed her emotions after holding them in for a long time.
