CEO's Contract Obsession-Chapter 73: Sweet Revenge
Everybody went back to the outdoor patio just outside Mary’s place on the farm when it was about to get dark. There were still a few hours before the dinner party started so everyone decided to do their own stuff while waiting for the dinner to be ready.
Mary went to the kitchen to check the preparation that her parents were doing. Sandra and Maya decided to stay in Sandra’s tiny house so they could let Ava and Mitch use Maya’s tiny house instead. Maya then went with the two girls to show them the way and get them settled.
Sandra accompanied Dave to the extra room that he will be staying at in Mary’s house while Amy will be the one who will show Rei, Anton, and Ash their rooms in her house. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
Mary and Amy were bickering at first about where should Ash stay since Amy already gave a hint to Mary that Henry and Ash are not on good terms. Amy wanted to have Ash stay at Mary’s house but Mary was pointing out that the only available room in their house is small and it was already given to Dave.
Plus Ash is their best friend and even though he is not on good terms with Henry, he should still have one of the rooms in Amy’s house since it’s bigger and better. Amy agreed in the end since that was her first choice as well and Ash has an unofficial room there that he always uses whenever he stays with the girls on the farm.
She also thinks that it would be unfair for her dear friend to not stay in that room just because she has Henry now, even though she just wants to avoid any possible conflicts between the two. Another dilemma that she has is that her room is just opposite the guest room that Ash always uses. So the two will definitely cross each other’s path.
She hopes to prevent that at all costs, that is why she was planning on not letting Henry leave her sight even for a moment. Perhaps it is also an opportunity for her to complete her reward list for Henry.
When Amy announced that Rei, Anton, and Ash would be staying in Amy’s house, Henry’s hands never left Amy’s body. Either he would hold her hand or put his arm around her waist or shoulder which everybody noticed especially Anton and Ash since Rei was used to it he just acted the same as he always does.
Ash was in a completely bad mood since he knew that Henry was doing it intentionally to annoy and make him jealous but he kept his cool. He will not let Henry anger him and make him look cheap in front of Amy.
Amy took Henry’s hand when she was about to lead the way to her house, she was anxious and her hands were sweating. She doesn’t know what will happen if ever Henry or Ash decides to fight each other again.
Henry notices Amy’s stiffness plus he can feel her hand getting cold and moist with sweat. He pulled her closer by the waist while walking as he whispered, "Relax love we are here to enjoy and celebrate. I promise I will behave, you can punish me in any way you want to if I don’t."
Amy frowned but then thought that it was a good idea, perhaps if there’s a punishment then he will definitely behave, especially if the punishment is something that only she can give. "You cannot go back on your word. You cannot be involved in any trouble with Ash or else you will go back to the city alone, and I’ll stay here for a week if you don’t comply."
She then looked at Henry and saw his smile slowly fade away.
"One week? That’s too cruel," Henry protested while trying to keep his voice down.
"Why? Are you planning on disobeying me?" Amy retorted.
"Of course not, but still that’s too much," he said.
"If you keep your word then there will be no problem," she then pointed her finger at the house not far from them, "That’s my house."
Her house is not that big, it is an average bungalow house with five bedrooms. It was their family’s vacation home since they used to live in a mansion in Ash’s neighborhood before her family died. She sold it when she needed money for Jayson and she did not regret it.
"This was my parent’s first home after they got married, then before I was born, they moved to our former mansion together with Mary’s family. Her mom was our head housekeeper before while her dad was my father’s driver," Amy had a smile on her face while she narrated her story to the four men with her.
"I heard from Mary that you ran away when you were young and hid here for a week," Anton chuckled, "She said she hated you for a month after that."
"Haha, she still gets angry about it whenever she remembers it. I ran away because my mom was too strict, she didn’t allow me to run around or play rough with other kids, saying that I might get wounded and get scars later on. She was very careful and gentle with it comes to my skin which I hate," Amy said.
"And I can say that your mom did a very good job, not a single scar anywhere," Henry smirked, his voice was loud enough for everyone to hear especially Ash.
Rei and Anton looked at each other understanding what Henry just said. They also know that Henry is provoking Ash the moment they arrive on the farm. They can see how extra touchy is Henry today and they don’t know if they will laugh at how frivolous Henry can be or if they should be worried since he is obviously instigating a fight.
Amy glared at Henry, she knew that Henry wanted to let Ash know that he had seen her whole body to point out to Ash that he owned her and no one else. But Henry just smirked at her, she knew that he would definitely do something to anger Ash without saying anything directed at him or fighting him physically.
She knows very well that Henry wanted to torture Ash emotionally. He knows how much Ash loves her and he would be very happy seeing him hurt on the inside.
"We’re here. Anton, Rei, you can choose which room you want in the left wing. Ash, you can take your usual room," Amy instructed as they walked towards the gate.
"You mean the room in front of your room? I was expecting that you would give the nearest room to your boyfriend, but you’re giving it to me," Ash wanted to emphasize the location of the room that he is taking thinking that he is closer to Amy since the only other room available is the room beside his room which Henry will be taking.
"You can have it, I will be staying in Amy’s room," Henry scoffed boastfully.
Ash’s face creased intensely, he didn’t expect that Amy would let that, his fear that Amy had given everything to Henry finally happened he thought.
"B-but you’re not married yet, how can you sleep in her room?" Ash can’t believe what is going on. The Amy whom he knows would not sleep with any man until she gets married because the three of them used to talk about those kinds of things when they were teenagers. That’s why he was very gentle and patient with her. Thinking that that way Amy will eventually fall for him.
"Who said I can’t? We have been s-" Henry’s ego was off the roof, it was his chance to slap Ash with the fact that Amy gave her virginity to him. He is the only man who will own Amy for the rest of her life but he is stopped by Amy and he cannot do anything but obey her if he still wants to go back home with Amy.
"That’s enough! He will stay in my room, Ash. Now let’s go so we can rest and freshen up before the party begins," Amy then walked faster so she could unlock the gate.
Even though the house is still inside the farm, Amy’s parents put up a fence around it to prevent some animals from destroying her mom’s garden. The four men were amazed by the flower garden on their left and right, it was well maintained even if Amy’s parents were now gone.
"Sandra and Maya make sure that the garden is well kept while I am away. Good thing that my cousins love flowers too," Amy casually said after noticing the astonishment on the men’s faces.
"Heard that Rei? Sandra likes flowers, you should give her one soon," Anton joked making Henry laugh. It is not every day that they can tease Rei about girls. Rei is very hardworking like all of them but unlike Henry and Anton who had a lot of women in the past, Rei was the aloof one in the group.
Whenever they ask him why he doesn’t want to at least mingle with other women, he will just say that he is busy with work and his siblings and has no time to entertain other people in his life, especially women.
They have never seen Rei with someone other than his family or his subordinates. There was a time when they were already thinking that perhaps Rei preferred men and not women. But seeing how flustered Rei was earlier after seeing Sandra in her bikini, Anton and Henry finally conclude that it was not the case.
It was always Rei who teased them, just like how he teased Henry with Amy, but now it’s payback time. They finally found something to tease him back, and they will not stop until they get their sweet revenge and till they are satisfied.
