Chapter 133: Red Diamond

"I want to share with you everything that I have in this world and spend the rest of my life by your side. I love you so so much Amy, will you please –"

"Yes! Why do you even have to ask?!" Amy jumped to Henry making him lose his balance and fall to the ground with Amy hugging him on his top.

"So impatient!" Henry chuckled as he tried to sit up.

"Now, where is that ring?" Henry saw the ring fly away when Amy dived into him.

"Here..." Amy picked it up and handed her hand to Henry before giving him the ring.

Henry was about to put it on her finger when Amy stopped him.

"Wait!"

He frowned as he shifted his gaze to her, wondering what is it this time. All he wanted to do is put it on her finger, get it over with, and announce to the world that they are getting married. But Amy seems to be adamant about delaying his plans.

"Say it again, everything that you said earlier," Amy exclaimed.

"What?! All of it?" Henry’s jaw dropped. He can’t believe Amy is being like this right now.

"Well, you said you practice it every night," Henry’s jaw dropped once again.

Amy laughed, "I’m just kidding, my love. Go on put it on me."

"I’ll do the short version then," Henry smiled and cleared his throat... 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Miss Amelia Bell, will you marry me?" Henry uttered without removing his eyes from hers.

Amy nodded and bit her lips trying to suppress that huge grin waiting to show on her face as she waits for Henry to move his hands.

But he didn’t move. Amy frowned wondering what is taking him so long.

"Well? Let me hear it too!" Henry smirked at her.

Amy rolled her eyes as she giggles, "Yes! Mr. Thomas Henry Welsh Jr. I will marry you!"

And without further ado, Henry finally put the red diamond ring on her finger. She did not wait for Henry to do anything for she once again dived into him sealing his lips with hers.

She kissed him like there was no tomorrow. She is so happy and overwhelmed that her fear of Henry rejecting her did not happen and it was the other way around.

On the other hand, Henry let her take the lead and just sit there answering her every kiss. He can’t believe that he waited this long to ask her because of his fears. He was scared for nothing.

There might be some circumstances on both sides but then they are not marrying each other for that. They wanted to get married because of love.

They wanted to solve each other’s problems together, bonded by marriage, making their connection stronger than ever.

When they finally pulled away from each other, they were breathless with swollen lips.

Amy looked at the grandfather clock in their suite and saw that it is past twelve midnight. She took something from her pocket and gave it to Henry.

"Happy Birthday, Henry. This is a little something for you to remember me."

Henry smirked and excitedly open his gift. He laughed upon seeing the red flower inside a ball-shaped clear resin.

"Looks like you know what it means," Amy said after watching Henry laugh at her gift.

"How could I forget? This started it all."

"It is a Red Oleander. They said it symbolizes destiny and endless love. This is not as expensive as your engagement ring but it reminds me of how you fell in love with me. And by giving this to you, I hope that you will always remember it and never fall out of love with me."

"I won’t love. This heart of mine only beats for you. Funny, I thought of this flower when I bought the ring. I have to threaten the shop owner because he said it is not for sale," Henry chortled remembering what he, Anton, and Rei did to the poor previous owner of the red diamond ring.

"That is too much, Henry. With or without a ring, I would say yes to you."

"Well, I was not confident back then that you would say yes. The boys and I were ring shopping and when I saw that red rock. I instantly felt the connection. It was originally in emerald cut, then I made it into a heart shape hoping it will get your attention more."

Amy laughs at how childish he thinks, but she appreciated it. Henry had put so much effort into thinking it would make her say yes.

"So, where is the rest of it, if it was bigger before? You’re not planning in proposing to another woman are you?" Amy was only joking but Henry took it seriously.

"Hell no! That would never happen. Well, I... ah... I..." Henry rubbed his nape, thinking if he should say where it is or not.

"What? Hmm... you are looking suspicious right now," Amy jested and crossed her arms.

"I just thought that if you say yes, then we will need a wedding ring. I asked the jewel maker to put the rest into our wedding rings."

"So you doubted that I would say yes, but, you have planned our wedding already?"

"Actually, our family and friends are on their way there now," Henry said while both of them are still sitting on the floor of their suite.

"Huh? Way to where?" Amy asked in confusion.

"On their way to our wedding venue."

"What?! We are getting married already?" Amy was shocked. Well, it is Henry Welsh that she is marrying so she should be used to it by now, she said to herself.

"Yes, love. Tomorrow."

Amy’s jaw dropped. She can’t believe Henry already decided and planned everything and she just realized that it was just her ’yes’ that is missing from his plans.

"I promise to give you a big wedding after this. Tomorrow is just a civil one, for documentation and legal purposes. Like you said you wanted to help me with my inheritance, but love, you are the reason why I want to get it as soon as possible.

Once I get the 50% share. I will be able to release the funds needed to invest in your land and to pay off your loan, our loan after you become Mrs. Welsh."

Amy smiled like a donkey, not because of his explanation but because of the last part of it.

"I like the sound of it... Mrs. Welsh."

"I can’t believe that’s the only thing that you’ve heard from what I said, love. But that’s fine with me," Henry then pulled Amy and made her sit on his lap before giving her a kiss.
