CEO's Contract Obsession-Chapter 129: Will Never Change

Ash is so so confused, he has no idea why is Amy crying and seems to be angry with him. What did he do? The only thing that he can think of right now is that Henry said something to Amy to brainwash her, to make her hate him.

He clenched his fist and grit his teeth at the thought of it. There is no reason for Amy to get this mad at him at all.

Amy finally calmed down a bit, but her anger did not subside at all.

She pushed Ash away from her before she stood up and wiped her tears, "I told you to not come near me. I swear I want to punch you in the face right now!"

"Talk to me Amy, what’s making you this angry? Tell me what did I do?" Ash almost begged as he hold both her hands just to be struck by Amy.

"Don’t touch me! All these years, you have been deceiving me! Do I look like a fool to you Ash?!"

She yelled and sob simultaneously, she can’t believe this is how they end up. She had imagined multiple times how she will confront Ash when the time comes and she had never imagined this one.

Back at the party, she was still able to control herself when she saw Ash and Uncle Lucas for Henry was with her. He is like an anchor to her, he is her refuge and someone that keeps her grounded.

Now that she is alone with Ash, she lost all her self-control. She had the plan to face him calmly and with her composure in place and it didn’t turn out that way. All she wants to do now is to beat him until she gets tired and satisfied.

"No, I don’t think you are a fool, Amy."

"Really?! Is that why you have a marriage contract prepared and signed already? You have expected me to be buried in huge debt because you think I don’t have what it takes to run my father’s company!"

Ash’s eyes widened in panic and dread. His whole body became frozen and felt as if there was a bucket of cold water thrown over his head. There are only a few people who know about that marriage contract and he is not expecting it to reach Amy this soon, not ever.

Amy shoves Ash on the chest over and over, he staggered at her every push but he didn’t fight back. He just looks at her blankly, he felt his world collapse seeing how angry she looks at him, he knows that whatever they built over the years is now gone.

If Amy was able to get to know about that marriage contract that he signed, he is sure that Henry was able to dig more about him and his father’s dealings. He knows that the marriage contract is not really the reason why Amy is angry.

It is a useless document unless Amy signs it, but she did not so he is terrified and frightened that once Amy stops pushing and hitting him, she will finally say the things that he doesn’t want to hear. And with that, he just wish that she wouldn’t stop at all.

"Fight back! Why are you just standing there like a log?! You think I am weak and dumb! You and your father think that I will just marry you, and stay at home while you and your father enjoy what’s not yours! Perhaps I am a fool because I believed in you!"

Still, Ash did not fight back but hugged Amy instead to stop her and calm her down, "Amy please... calm down and listen to me."

Amy tried to jostle her way out of Ash’s arms but he was just too strong against her hysterical self, she just couldn’t seem to free herself from his embrace. She was losing her strength and she cried again. All those wonderful years with Ash came flashing into her mind and it damn hurts like hell.

She felt so betrayed that everything she knew between them was fake. He was only being nice to her because he wanted to gain something from her.

When Amy calmed down a bit, and Ash finally started explaining himself.

"Amy, this isn’t like what you think it is. I wanted to save you and your land together with Bellory. And this is the only way to do it," Ash lightly stroked Amy’s head as she sob in his arms.

"Our fathers wanted us to marry, strengthening our family’s ties, combining our wealth. Your father agreed to the terms of the loan. If you marry me, my aunt will void the loan and your father will convert it into an investment under my father’s name. Therefore, your family does not need to pay it off.

Our family accepted it because it was a win-win scenario. No one will lose anything but instead, both sides will gain a lot. You don’t have to stay with Henry. I am here, I have always been here for you, no matter what.

I have loved you ever since we were young and that will never change. I only wanted to help you, I never wanted to hurt you and I am sorry if you think that I did. It was not my intention. Come with me, Henry is never good for you, once he is done bedding you, he will leave y –"

*SLAP*

Ash was not able to finish for Amy’s very strong hand landed on his face, leaving a very red mark on his cheek.

"Shut up! You know nothing! I love him and I would die for him!" Amy yelled as she glare intensely at him. Her eyes were still filled with tears and disgust.

He had never imagined in his entire life that Amy would hurt him both physically and emotionally like that.

He grabbed her arms and shook her violently.

"Just wake up from your fantasies Amy! What the f*ck are you talking about? Love him? Die for him? You are just freaking blinded by lust!"

Amy fervently pushed Ash away which she successfully did but the force made her drop to the floor and hit her bottom straight to the ground.

But Ash was not done yet. His emotions finally took him over. He bent his knees hovering over Amy as he lash out with anger.

"Does he f*ck you so good that you lost your brain! Huh?! If that’s the case, then I will make sure to change your f*cking mind!"

Ash grabbed her nape and the next thing she knew, her lips were already sealed with his mouth.
