Chapter 302: Chapter 302: Alphonso

"Are we clear, champions?" Dust shouted.

His messy hair fell partly over his face. Mater could understand why Aurora liked him once. He was rather handsome to be honest.

’Not as handsome as me though.’ Mater thought to himself.

"Acknowledge." Crow said.

"I’m clear, referee." Alphonso breathed heavily.

"Then. The Trial shall begin!"

Dust turned into a blur and dashed off the elevated ground.

Alphonso grinned widely. He hunched down like a gorilla and scanned Crow with his eyes.

"Puny coal man. Can you even beat me?"

Crow raised his hand and slowly opened his palm. A small dark sphere materialized and hovered slightly above his hand.

"Huh?" Alphonso titled his head.

The dark sphere exploded and blinded Alphonso. His skin turned gray and some of his body turned into stone.

"What is this?" Alphonso couldn’t see anything. Smoke flew out of his eyes.

His feet turned into stone but with a twist, he broke out of it.

Crow aimed at Alphonso. A black chain shot out from him and wrapped around Alphonso. He pulled onto it.

"Heh." Adrian smiled, "Alphonso wouldn’t be pulled that easy."

And as he predicted, Crow didn’t pull Alphonso to him. Instead, Alphonso reversed pulled Crow to his location.

But that was what Crow wanted all along. He lunged at Alphonso. His free hand summoned a Nether Spear and he thrusted the spear into Alphonso’s heart.

Crow had no mercy. Each strike he used aimed to kill.

Alphonso was still blinded. But he was not useless. He turned his head sideways and used his ears to ’see’ the environment. He heard the spear coming to him.

Alphonso flung the chain to the side, causing Crow to miss his target and shoot to the sky.

"That is quite high." Don Elio looked up. The sunlight pierced into his sunglasses.

Crow turned into a strip of darkness and got back to the ground. He landed right next to Don Elio. He never had a mouth. But that day, the lower half of his face cracked open and revealed a white space within.

Crow used Desperation Scream and released a shockwave at Alphonso.

The large man was pushed back 5-meter and stumbled on his feet. But he didn’t fall.

"That Crow guy... He has quite the talent. He already used three or more Psychic skills." Don Elio said.

His capos nodded and agreed with him.

Adrian tapped his fingers on his thighs. Alphonso was a one trick pony. But he could reach Rank-2 at any moment. Crow might be the better fighter but once the equivalent of rank was broken. Victory would be his.

Petrifying Void lost its effect and gave Alphonso back his vision. The large man slammed his two hands on the ground. Shockwave and pure Despair NES shot toward Crow.

A black chain shot out from him and reached for a nearby tree. Crow used it to get out of his current location, where everything was broken into piece because of Alphonso’s attack.

"Going somewhere?" Alphonso roared.

He jumped. His body shot through the air like a bullet and his hands reached for Crow.

The Abomination squinted its white eyes. His body disappeared.

Alphonso grabbed at nothing and landed heavily on the ground. He turned frantically in all directions.

"Where are you, coward? WHERE ARE YOU!" Alphonso screamed.

A purple spear shot out from beneath the ground, aiming for the space between Alphonso’s legs.

Alphonso stomped his legs, breaking the ground beneath him.

For a Menace, Alphonso’s destructive power was unprecedented. He was similar to a walking tank in a human body.

Crow was forced out of the ground as Alphonso grabbed his throat.

"You made a big mistake, dark man." Alphonso said as he punched Crow repeatedly in the face.

Tommy rubbed his chin in confusion. It didn’t feel like Crow at all. Tommy didn’t know the Abomination for long but he knew Crow wouldn’t make such an amateur mistake.

Crow didn’t.

Another Crow appeared beside Alphonso and sliced him mercilessly with two curved swords.

Alphonso’s skin was as tough as steel. Each strike drew out fire spark. But Crow’s weapons weren’t just an ordinary projection. It had the power of the Netherworld.

Dark veins appeared on Alphonso’s body and he felt that his strength was quickly withering away.

"NO!" Alphonso screamed. He let go of the first Crow and slammed his two hands together.

A shockwave blasted out and blew the two Crow away.

But there was a third. The real Crow was behind Alphonso with an oversized war axe. He swung the purple axe with his entire body and into Alphonso’s head.

Adrian’s eyes widened. "Such a cunning little bastard!"

The war axe cut into Alphonso’s neck but it didn’t go all the way. He survived. The axe stuck into his flesh.

Tommy smiled, "That thing isn’t normal. Bellini’s power pills, I suppose?"

Adrian didn’t deny it, "You should have used it as well if you want to win."

"I don’t think I will need it." Tommy smiled even more. A knowing smile that showed that he already won.

Adrian didn’t know where Tommy got all that confidence from.

Crow was surprised to see that Alphonso survived that hit. A second weapon appeared as he tried to end the fight quickly.

Chaos blasted out from Alphonso and created a barrier around him. Crow was pushed away.

He and his clones gathered together.

"Argh!" Alphonso screamed. One hand held his neck. "I can’t believe you made me do this! I will kill you for this!"

Chaos enveloped Alphonso as he advanced to Rank-2 within battle.

"You should pay close attention. This is how a Psychic advance. It might be useful for you." The black cat meowed.

Selina nodded. Two red octagrams appeared in her eyes as she scanned Alphonso.

Mater advanced to Rank-2 by turning all of his blood pathways into Chaos storage. Their interconnected pathways formed a Chaos Circuit and created a fictional Chaos Well.

Psychic already had a Chaos Well and Chaos Singularity. The Psycho Force within their head.

As Alphonso started his advancement, all the Chaos poured into his brain and entered his Psycho force.

Crow stood still. His black trench coat flapped in the wind. He had no intention of stopping it because he didn’t need to.
