Chapter 293: Chapter 293: A Favor

A sleek black car stopped in front of the Luciente Casino. Sparrow was the driver. Crow sat next to the driver’s seat. Aurora, Selina, and Bash sat on the back. Mater sat on Selina’s lap while Bash sat on Aurora’s.

Mater had allowed Evelynn and Blanche to return to the Institute. They had some classes they needed to attend.

The bouncer in the front approached the car. He frowned deeply.

Sparrow rolled his window down, revealing himself and Crow.

The bouncer recognized Crow immediately. "Mr. Crow."

He nodded with respect. He also greeted Sparrow, even though he didn’t know who he was.

"I need to meet Tommy." Crow said.

"Of course, sir. Right this way." The bouncer said.

Crow got out of the car and opened the door for the back seat. Aurora and Selina showed themselves.

Selina had picked a few good dresses for her and Aurora. One backless black dress and one white dress with a deep cut on the chest.

They gracefully walked out.

The bouncer froze for a second. He had seen many beautiful women come and go from the casino. However, they were one of a kind.

Sparrow drove the car away to park it in the garage. This was a brand new high-end luxury car that cost around 250,000 credits.

Mater had more than enough money to settle these minor luxuries. Crow earned a lot through the Atlas Seven alone. And the HAS pills trade with Tommy was more than enough for one super car.

Leslie just finished the first batch for the Luciente, which yielded a total of 800,000 credits. If Mater deducted the initial 500,000 credits that he invested for Leslie, he already had a profit of 300,000 credits. Many more batches were coming.

The group entered the casino and immediately drew the attention of the staff. They snuck a few glances toward them. It was hard not to look at beautiful things, especially if they were showing off their curves.

Sparrow and Crow walked in the front and acted like bodyguards for the group. While Bash walked in the middle of Selina and Aurora.

’They look at us funny.’ Selina communicated with everyone telepathically. Since she had a Chaos Pact, she could join their telepathy voice chat.

’You are beautiful, Miss Isles. It would be weird if they don’t stare.’ Sparrow replied telepathically.

’Want me to whack them?’ The cat was as bloodlust as ever.

’Please, Mr. Mater. Don’t cause trouble now.’ Selina’s voice echoed.

’I’m just kidding... Partially.’

They entered Tommy’s office. There were a few capos inside with him.

The capos couldn’t help but look at the girls hungrily but they immediately stopped when Bash glanced at them.

That little kid with the red mask was powerful. They could feel his power. He was Rank-2. A powerful one at that. They knew that he could smack all of them with ease. The hunch of a warrior.

Tommy was surprised. Up until now, he didn’t really know what his benefactor was. He just knew that they were connected.

They had a good connection in the legal system with Justin Mei.

They had their own laboratory, Tommy knew that because they could provide him with HAS pills.

And Crow always implied that his organization was powerful and wasn’t afraid of the Luciente. Tommy always suspected the truth of that.

He had no suspicion now. The truth was in front of him.

That kid and that albino girl were Rank-2. And not the weak ones like his capos. But a solid Rank-2 that could advance even further like him.

He had to stand up to show his respect.

"Who am I owing the pleasure?" Tommy said.

"Hello, Tommy. You already met Sparrow. This is Miss Isles and Miss Aurora. They want to meet our new partner." Crow said.

"Please. If you want to meet up, you should have informed me. I can arrange a proper meeting." Tommy smiled.

He quickly assessed the group. The goth girl was the weakest of them all. But they were surrounding her like she was very important. Tommy knew that she was the leader right away.

’How can a weak Psychic be their leader? She must have a high position in their organization.’

Selina walked around. Her fingers ran gently on the expensive statue Tommy had in his office. Her eyes glanced over to the capos.

A few smiled at her, thinking that maybe they could get lucky with her.

"We aren’t really here for business, Tommy. We need to ask you for a favor." Selina said.

"I see. What exactly is this favor?" Tommy squinted his eyes.

’Favor’ always meant trouble. He had to verify.

"Ash Crawford. She’s a friend of mine. She is just a civilian. But she’s disappeared. The VOID was following her for some reason. I need to find out why and I need to find her." Selin said.

"The Void?" Tommy’s breath hitched.

"The Vanguard Offensive Infiltration Dynamics. A private mercenary organization. Not the Void we know." Crow said.

"Ah. I heard about them before. They’re hitmen." Tommy said.

"Precisely. Hiring them isn’t cheap either. So the culprit might have a lot of influence." Selina said.

"I have just one question. If she is a civilian, why don’t you just call the police?" Tommy said.

"Because they deserve to die, that is." Aurora smiled. Her smile was surprisingly eerie. The air around her became colder and ice formed around the floor.

A few capos gasped.

’This one is not as gentle as her appearance.’ Tommy thought.

"Alright. I will send my men out to look for her. It’s best if we have a description. As for the VOID, I do know someone that works with them. Maybe I can find out who issued the contract."

"That would be great, Tommy." Selina smiled.

"And my payment?" Tommy said.

"A favor for a favor, Tommy. This is what we’re giving you." Aurora crossed her arms. "Of course, if it’s payment you want, we can do that."

Tommy rested his chin on his hands. He was thinking. He understood what they’re implying. It’s a known language inside the mafia.

As of now, the Luciente and whatever this organization was, they had a business relationship together. The other side was offering to strengthen this relationship.

"How about this? Consider this as an act of friendliness from me. For our relationship in the future. How’s that?"

Crow approached him. He laughed.

"A wise choice, Mr. Moriarty." Crow reached out his hand, "We always appreciate the help from a friend."

And the deal was completed. The Luciente officially had a new ally with them.

"You are a friend of mine from now on, Crow." Tommy shook his hand.
