Before going to the Luciente family for help, Mater brought the servants and Selina back to the Floor of Blizzard.

"Why are we returning here, Master?" Aurora said.

"We’ll be going to the Luciente for help. And we’re going to show them a glimpse of our power, Aurora

What’s more surprising than having a bunch of Rank-2 showing up at your doorstep? I can already imagine his shocked face right now."

Mater laughed manically, "So I am going to advance you to Rank-2, Aurora."

"Right now, Master?" Aurora widened her eyes.

"Right now. Return to your throne."

Aurora nodded. She flew back to the Aurora Borealis.

’Thankfully I didn’t need to make a complex Chaos Ritual like the one with Bash. This should be over quickly.’

Within the Prison, Mater’s power was greater. He easily constructed a spherical Chaos Ritual around Aurora’s throne.

Then he slotted in the 200 Chaos Spheres and the three Chaos Singularities.

"Ready?"

"As always." Aurora nodded.

"Then. Let it begin!"

The sphere became restless. The entire floor shook as a heavy snowstorm took over the landscape.

The Northern Lights moved quicker and flowed like a river of light.

The three Chaos Singularities spun around Aurora’s throne before inserting themselves into her. Her bright geometric blue lines glowed even harsher.

She became a small white sun within the Floor of Blizzard.

Selina and the servants took out sunglasses and put them on.

"What do you think her new power would be, Crow?" Selina said.

"I’m not sure, Miss Isles. But she is a caster type. Master might design her to be even more destructive."

"When are you going to advance to Rank-2, Crow?" Evelynn blinked her big innocent eyes.

"Probably after the Trial with the Luciente. They need a Rank-1 so Master will probably wait once it’s done."

"I wonder when I can reach Rank-2?" Evelynn pouted.

Crow patted her head, "You’re not ready yet. You still have unsolved business within you."

"What do you mean, Crow?" Evelynn said. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"We’re advancing via locks and keys. We don’t have locks and keys literally like Master. Our locks and keys are our heart. Aurora already killed her murderer. That’s why she can reach Rank-2.

I’m a little different because I absorb Aaron Cage’s personality. As for you, your death did have some mysteries behind it, right?"

Evelynn nodded, "But I thought... Master wouldn’t care about that."

"Of course he cares. He just didn’t do anything yet. You can only unlock your own heart by your own. You’re still too weak and you need to reach Level 10 first."

"I see..." Evelynn scratched her head. She was rather confused.

Sparrow played a little sad song on the side. He was the only one that seemed to be the least traumatized in the group. After all, he lived a long life in his past life.

"You’ll find your answers, Evelynn. Eventually." Sparrow smiled.

The white sun in the sky pulsed. A white wave of energy blasted out from the throne.

Bash’s blood mask disintegrated as he enlarged into his True Form.

"Stay behind me." Bash stood in front to tank the wave of energy.

Aurora’s ascension was completed. She was now a Rank-2 Undead.

- Ice Manipulation: You may conjure, control, and manipulate ordinary ice to a certain degree.

- Glacial Coffin: Trap an enemy inside a pillar made of Death Ice for as long as you could expend your Chaos. (Upgraded)

- Glacial Lances: Summon as many Death Ice Lances as you want in the air or on any surface within 300-meter radius around you to strike the enemy in the same area. (Upgraded)

- Glacial Elk: Reveal your true form for as long as you want. All your spells are twice as powerful. (Upgraded)

- Whitestorm: Summon a snowstorm that has a 90-meter radius around you that greatly reduces temperature and vision. All enemies inside the area are slowed and constantly taking Death Ice damage. (Upgraded)

- Lightstorm: Summon the Northern Lights in a 30-meter radius area. Enemies are weakened within the Lightstorm. All Death Ice within the area could release Northern Beams. (New)

[Passive Abilities]:

- Body of Ice: Gain resistance to all mental and physical effects. The colder the environment, the stronger the wight. Can regenerate body parts by absorbing water, ice, and snow or by expending Chaos. (Upgraded)

- Body of Light: Immune to light damage type. Can release Northern Beam as an attack from any part of the body. (New)

- Snow Rose: The wight’s aura and natural beauty are supreme. Other beings find you angelic and have an urge to worship and love you. (Upgraded)

- Northern Steps: The wight can walk in the air. (New)

Aurora was covered in the majestic colors of the Northern Light. The blue lines on her body now constantly shifted like the Northern Light itself.

The white antlers on her head glimmered like stars.

Northern Light formed beneath her feet and became a platform for her to stand.

Mater was in front of her.

"You are even more beautiful than before, Aurora."

The Glacial Wight knelt down. "All thanks to you, Master. My life is yours. As well as my eternal loyalty."

"Come. Let’s show the others."

The black cat flew down while Aurora stepped down by forming light beneath her feet.

Selina gasped. She walked around Aurora and couldn’t contain her admiration.

"You know what, Mater?" Selina said.

"What?"

"I understand why now. She is just too perfect."

The goth girl pulled Aurora close and hugged her greedily. The cold didn’t bother Selina anymore. She drooled constantly just by the softness of Aurora’s skin.

"I would have married you if I was a man." Selina said.

"Hey! You’re my queen!" The black cat growled.

"Not yet! You can’t even turn human yet!" Selina stuck her tongue out playfully.

"Just you wait... The moment I got my third lock, I’mma break you!"

"Hehe. Can’t wait." Selina winked.

The black cat blushed. He turned around and questioned reality. "That was kinda hot actually."

"Rejoice!" Blanche began her theatrics as normal. "The first servant of our Master. Our commander. Our big sister. The Northern Light of Hell. The Warden of Ice. The White Rose! She has advanced to Rank-2.

One day, she shall help our master rule over this world!"

"You’re goddamn right!"

Mater and Blanche chuckled together. Selina and the other servants ignored them and congratulated Aurora with her advancement.

"Congrats, sis!" Bash reached his hand out to shake Aurora’s hand.

Aurora picked Bash up like a baby and held him on the side. "Don’t be a stranger now, Bash."

Bash scratched his cheek in embarrassment.

Then they went to the Luciente to ask for their help with locating Ash.
