Captured By The Cold Detective (BL)-Chapter 178: Had Enough?
What should I do, he asked...
’Then you should just deal with it yourself! What the fuck are you asking me for?!’ was what Jia Molei wished he could holler to Ku Jin’s face out loud. Alas, he was fully aware of his own predicament. Right now, he was akin to a weak and sickly chicken compared to the bulldozer Ku Jin. Even ten of him would not be enough to send this ancestor on his way.
However, his surname would not be Jia if he were to admit defeat so easily like this. He did not budge from his position as he fixed the most vicious glare he could muster in his current drained state toward the other man. "Exactly what do you want?" he hissed in a low voice. "Say it here and scram!"
"Are you sure?" With his hands placed leisurely in his pocket, Ku Jin walked toward Jia Molei, one step after another, until he had the crimson-haired man pressed between the steel gate and himself. A tiny smile played on the corner of his lips, and it looked so damn annoying that Jia Molei had to exert all of his willpower not to punch him in the face. It was the kind of superficial smile that did not reach the eyes, the kind that was both compassionate yet indifferent, just like a God who looked on as humans suffered from the fate They have set.
He braced one hand on the side of Jia Molei’s head, and his voice lowered into an almost sultry whisper. "Are you sure that you want me to say it out loud here?"
As though Heaven also sided with this bastard, the door to the left of Jia Molei’s house swung open and a woman in sportswear sauntered out with her little poodle on the leash. She abruptly froze when she saw two men in a compromising position just next door.
Utterly shameless, Ku Jin turned to offer her a bright smile, still with his position that was bracketing Jia Molei against the gate.
"S–Sorry...!" the woman ducked her head bashfully. Then she scooped the silly poodle into her arms and scampered off, leaving behind a flustered sentence, "You... You guys continue!"
Jia Molei buried his face into his palms and screamed internally. It’s over... now he had to say goodbye to his social reputation among the neighborhood! Oh God, how was he supposed to show his face after this?! And it was all because of this thick-skinned bastard Ku Jin! Enraged, Jia Molei forcefully stomped on his foot, earning him a sharp gasp from Ku Jin who stepped back in reflex to rub his throbbing foot.
"Baby, why are you so violent..." he said with an aggrieved look on his face.
Fuck your baby, Jia Molei cursed a storm inside his heart. His face was as dark as the bottom of the pot as he forcefully shoved Ku Jin away and turned to unlock the gate. He knew it now. The reason why Ku Jin waited for him in the hospital must be because of this – he wanted to get into Jia Molei’s house, and once he decided on it, even the Heavenly Emperor would not be able to change his mind!
Against someone whose brain was born askew like Ku Jin, one must know when to advance and retreat. Even though all Jia Molei wanted was to run his annoying face over with a truck, he could only swallow his anger and keep this grudge for later. After he had recovered later, he would make sure to settle this account, plus the high interest!
The gate opened with a click and Jia Molei begrudgingly pushed it open. "Ten minutes! You can only stay for ten minutes and—" Once again, before he could even finish his sentence, his neck was violently grabbed by Ku Jin from behind and he was hauled through the gate.
Despite his eye-catching appearance that often caused him to be duped as a thug, Jia Molei was someone who took care of himself very well. He would wake up early to make healthy potions, and he would also go to gym during weekends. Naturally, his house was nicely furnished and decorated as well. Potted plants lined up on the small yard, each leaf and stem was thick and lush, vibrant with life. The floor was also very clean as he had no habit of tossing dirty laundry everywhere either.
But now...
He bumped into a potted plant when he struggled against Ku Jin’s hold, causing it to crash to the ground and shatter into pieces. After that, Ku Jin did not even give him the chance to take off his shoes as he continued to drag him into the house, leaving a trail of muddy footprints on the otherwise spotless floor.
It had not even been five minutes yet, but Ku Jin already made such a mess out of his house!
Jia Molei was roughly tossed to the sofa. It hurt so much that his vision darkened for a second. He reflexively curled up into a ball as he shuddered against the pain. Tears were squeezed out of the corner of his eyes. As much as he wanted to bury his head and play dead, there was no way he could be rest assured after inviting this inhuman bastard into his house. Ignoring the bone-crushing pain throughout his whole body, he propped himself up and shouted hoarsely, "Have you had enough yet, fucker?!"
Ku Jin was already walking toward the cabinet under the TV. With utter ease and fluidity unlike how a stranger should have, he opened Jia Molei’s bottomost drawer and pulled out a small box of medicine kit. Jia Molei stared at his back, dumbfounded.
Fuck... how did he even...
He pressed his palm against his swollen temple. He could not even begin to guess how Ku Jin would know where he kept his medicine kit, or how he could be so natural when taking it out. A madman, he told himself. You can’t reason with a madman. He took a few deep inhales and only then could he hold himself from going hysterical. Barely. Was it wrong for him to invite this man in? Should he just pretend that he did not see him back in the hospital’s parking lot? No, knowing Ku Jin’s temperament, there was a huge possibility that he would deliberately crash his car into Jia Molei’s taxi if he dared to take one.
From the start, this man had not left him with any choice at all.
Acting as if nothing was wrong, Ku Jin strolled back to Jia Molei, threw the medicine kit to the low table and plopped his butt down on it as well. His long legs stretched to the sofa Jia Molei was laying on. The faint glimmer of moonlight outside the large window cast onto his side profile, blurring the faint smile on his lips and in turn, making the color on his eyes stand out even more.
An involuntary shudder ran down Jia Molei’s spine. With Ku Jin staring at him like this, he felt as if he was pinned under a bloodthirsty beast with the tip of its sharp claw pressing against his neck.
"Had enough?" Ku Jin snorted as if he had just heard the most ridiculous joke in the world. He reached out to trail his fingers along Jia Molei’s cheek to his chin oh so gently as if he was caressing his most beloved treasure. "What makes you think that I will have enough of you? Hmm?"
Jia Molei averted his gaze uneasily and saw the medicine kit Ku Jin had tossed haphazardly on the table. He snatched onto it as if grabbing onto a lifeline. "I will do it myself," he seethed quietly. "Now can you please finish what you’re going to say and get out? My humble house can’t afford to take in an ancestor like you!"
"There’s no rush," Ku Jin chuckled happily, relishing on the little fits of temper Jia Molei threw at him. "Your house is very good. It’s big and comfortable. I think..." he pretended to ponder for a while before snapping his fingers as if he had come up with a brilliant idea. "I want to stay here for a few days. What do you say?"
Jia Molei almost dropped the medicine kit out of shock. His mouth gaped in disbelief. "You want to– what?!"
