Chapter 177: You Want Me To Scram?

"Don’t give me that fucking nonsense." Jia Molei’s head hurt even more now. He had never been good at managing his own temper. And seeing this hypocrite bastard acting so high and mighty in front of him made him unable to resist tearing his beautiful cover apart to expose the rot and ugliness within. "You can fool everyone with it, but have you ever fooled me? All you want is to see me break down in despair, kneel down on your feet and beg you for mercy! All you want is to humiliate me and force me to admit that I am nothing without you! And you fucking dare to say that you want me?!"

Jia Molei’s chest heaved fiercely due to the uncontrollable anger, but out of concern for his wounds, he did not raise his voice too high and only forced the words out through gritted teeth. Even then, anyone who heard it would be able to discern how furious he was.

Alas, in response to Jia Molei’s harsh retort, Ku Jin merely clicked his tongue as if the rage of the man beside him was nothing more than floating breeze and flowing water. All was insubstantial. His tone was mildly amused, "Is that how you have always seen me?"

Jia Molei’s face became cold in an instant. "Stop the car."

"...What?"

"Water must have flooded my damn brain when I agreed to come with you! I told you to stop the fucking car!" Consumed by anger, Jia Molei reached out to grab the steering wheel and yanked it to the side!

The sharp screech of tires echoed shrilly under the gloomy nightscape. Ku Jin’s pupils dilated in shock and he gripped the wheel tighter, quickly stabilizing it again.

The two of them were engaged in the tug-of-war, none was willing to lose. From outside, their car swerved to the left and right in an S curve, almost ramming into the car beside them. A flurry of rapid horns and curses were thrown out, yet none of the two bothered to care. It was unknown where Jia Molei got the strength from, but he could actually get a little upper hand against Ku Jin.

Jia Molei was secretly elated. Just as he thought that he was going to win against this little madman, Ku Jin suddenly stretched out a hand and grabbed onto his neck!

"Urk...!" That one move almost made him see stars. The force slammed his head to the window. Dizziness shot up to the top of his head as he grasped Ku Jin’s wrist in a tight grip, trying to remove it off him. It was really strange, Ku Jin’s arm looked fair and slender at a glance, yet right now it was akin to a piece of unbreakable steel as they choked Jia Molei’s throat, not budging at all. "You... motherfucker..."

"I advise you not to move around," Ku Jin said with a smile. Yet his eyes were frighteningly cold. All the while, his gaze was fixed on the road. He did not look at Jia Molei at all. "Don’t test my patience, okay Molei? I am in a very good mood today, so I don’t want to fight you."

"Let... go!" Jia Molei’s face flushed due to the lack of oxygen. He could faintly taste blood on the base of his throat. His nails sunk into Ku Jin’s arm, leaving a trail of bloody marks.

Ku Jin let out a quiet hiss and let him go in an abrupt manner, causing Jia Molei’s body to slam against the door due to the momentum. If it was the usual him, he would not make a sound even if his bones were broken, but now... after going through that car crash, half of his body was bruised and this hard collision almost cut off years of his life. He could not help but curl up and let out a grunt of pain.

Ku Jin blew on the scratch marks on his arm and tutted, "Still as rough and prickly as ever. Why don’t you—" he suddenly froze when he heard Jia Molei’s little grunt. It was the kind of sound he had never heard before, nor could he associate it with a crude and barbaric man like Jia Molei.

It was the sound of weakness. Of vulnerability.

As if he was a starving hound that had smelled blood, Ku Jin’s eyes gleamed in a sharp glint, even his voice lost its usual playful mirth. "How severe is your injury? Why don’t you get it treated?"

Jia Molei abruptly froze. Oh shit. The last thing he had ever wanted was to reveal a chink in his armor. Because once Ku Jin caught wind of it, he would dig into it and try to knock it down until it shattered to pieces. Alas, the milk had been spoilt and it was already too late by the time he wanted to salvage it. He could only play the fool and retorted, "What the hell are you talking—ukh!"

Not leaving Jia Molei any leeway, Ku Jin struck him right on the chest!

The strength he exerted was strong enough to break Jia Molei’s ribs. Blood surged up his throat only to be forcibly swallowed down again. The wound on his chest was torn open and the scent of blood in the car thickened. "Fuck..." he spat out after the waves of pain subsided. If not because Ku Jin was the driver which made him kinda responsible for Jia Molei’s life right now, he would have choked this man to death. "Do you want to kill me?!"

Damn it, this madman was truly ruthless. With this kind of manner, he still dared to say that he wanted him?! Where did he get the courage to?!

"Your injuries are severe," Ku Jin said in the matter-of-fact tone.

"So? What does it have to do with you?!"

Without saying anything, Ku Jin floored the accelerator to the maximum, forcing the pitiful Buick to perform like a racecar. It zoomed across the street, taking over one car after another. Leaving behind the thick fumes of exhaust gas, as well as a bloody rhapsody of furious horns and foul curses. It was expected that Ku Jin would receive a traffic ticket by tomorrow at the earliest.

It was the exact replica of what Jia Molei had done last night. But at that time... the situation was extremely urgent and Jia Molei was driving on the highway! Now they were in the middle of the city where the population was the densest. For Ku Jin to speed up like this, he really suited his title as a madman! Fucking hell!

"Fuck!" Jia Molei was jostled so much that he almost crumpled into a wrinkled ball. He could not resist grabbing onto Ku Jin and shouting into his ears. "Can you fucking slow down for a second?! If you want to die, then just die alone and don’t drag me down with you!"

However, Ku Jin acted as if he heard nothing. The journey that usually took around twenty minutes to half an hour ended up being less than fifteen minutes. By the time the Buick sharply halted to a stop, Jia Molei was already feeling so nauseous that he would vomit if he opened his mouth at once.

Ku Jin got down from the car and slammed the door behind him. Then taking advantage of his long legs, he swiftly moved to open Jia Molei’s door and dragged him out. His movement was not gentle at all. On the contrary, it was as if he wanted to let Jia Molei suffer more, to let him feel more pain and torment.

Either way, it was not like this was the first day Jia Molei had known how cruel he was.

Jia Molei suppressed his nausea and swatted Ku Jin’s hand away once he was certain that he would not collapse on his feet. Then he swiftly positioned himself in front of the gate and glared at the man in front of him. He would rather die than to let the man step inside. "You’ve already sent me home. Can you fucking scram and disappear now?!"

Ku Jin glanced at the dots of blood that oozed through Jia Molei’s clothes, then his gaze went up to Jia Molei’s bright and angry eyes. Smiling, he said, "You want me to scram? But I want to come in and have a cup of coffee... what should I do?"
