That morning Anne really struggled to get out of bed, it had become a everyday thing now that it was no longer surprising but it was becoming infuriating, she wasn’t sick yet sometimes it seemed like it, especially in the mornings and Anne was usually a morning person.

She didn’t stay in the Black Thorn Manor the night before even though butler Jones had asked her to, it wasn’t her place to stay in his home when he wasn’t there, her only purpose being there was for the contract and once he wasn’t around then she couldn’t be too.

She had returned home quite late at night and the butler had sent a driver to drop her.

Washing up, she got herself ready for work and left for the company.

Upon reaching the company however, a shiny silver car suddenly stopped in front of her. Anne took several steps backwards taken aback before deciding to walk around the car to go her way, however someone suddenly stepped down from the car.

It wasn’t a familiar face, a woman who looked to be in her mid twenties, dressed in casual attire that looked quietly luxurious.

She had a friendly looking round face and straight dark hair with front bangs that visibly tickled her brows.

"I apologize for this, the driver is new and made a mistake stopping in front of you like that. You are Annelise, am I correct?"

"Yes, I am but...do I know you?"

The woman smiled, "Not yet,"

She extended a friendly hand forward for a handshake.

"My name is Vivian Reeves, I work for Sapphire Beauty, you must have heard of us."

Anne shook the young woman’s hand.

Sapphire Beauty was a huge deal among women in Verizon, the company released the best makeup and skincare lines every year, Anne wouldn’t deny that she had once wished to get her hands on the Majikk Serum released last year, Kristen was still fine at the time and she didn’t have the weight of paying for his surgery on her shoulders then.

She had wanted it because of the wonderful things girls would say about it. At the restaurant she worked then, a girl named Gina had used it and they had been complimenting her on how great her skin looked then.

Anne never even got to buy it when it was sold out the very day it was released.

"I know Sapphire Beauty, but...is there something you want from me? I don’t mean to be rude but I really need to get to work before I run late."

"It’s okay, I just need a few minutes of your time. If you’re interested, I can set up a meeting for some other time so I don’t interrupt your work right now. If you’re interested in my offer, you won’t even have to work here anymore."

Although after what Vivian just said, Anne had a suspicion of what it could be.

Jasmine had told her that the single ad she’d shot could bring her offers from companies, which would mean she could get to step into modelling if she was interested in doing so.

Truth was, her being made to shoot the ad had been a huge risk on SE’s part. Nobody uses an unknown person as a model, it would make the consumers disinterested in viewing it, but Anne knew she had been lucky because the ad was well received and it made people flood her DMS online that she didn’t know what to do with it, so she just ignored.

She had never thought about being a model before, though the industry seemed glamorous but it was frought with it’s own disadvantages and people like Valeria.

Such challenges weren’t something Anne would shy away from, but she was still thinking about it.

"Our boss saw your billboard, if you’ve been online I’m sure you already know what people have been calling you."

Anne knew, she just didn’t think it was accurate to who she was.

People online who began to label themselves her fans had started calling her "the sunlight beauty"

"Miss Vivian..." Anne began but the woman cut her off.

"Just Vivian please."

"Vivian, I’m not so certain I want to..."

"Before you refuse, let me just tell you that Nathan Foxx himself is determined to recruit you. My boss has never been so certain about a model before, if you agree to this, I can assure you Mr Foxx will give you anything and everything you could ever request for. Vivian was sure after she mentioned the name Nathan Foxx, Anne wouldn’t be able to refuse anymore. Any girl in Verizon, if she walked around the street and picked one and mentioned her boss’s name, they would jump and scream at the opportunity.

She noticed a thoughtful look on Anne’s face and smiled confidently.

Once they took this girl out of SE, they would create an unforgettable explosion to the world with her fame. Many people online were already going crazy for her, she didn’t seem to know how huge the fame she could get would be.

Anne opened her mouth to speak and Vivian got ready to whip out the contract which was already prepared beforehand.
