Born Into Villain's Family: I Have a 200\% Rebate System-Chapter 252: Rebate
Chapter 252: Chapter 252: Rebate
Micah’s eyes widened, his lips parted in shock.
"And," Aurora continued, her tone turning a little colder, "I’ll pay off your debt. All of it."
Micah almost gasped.
But Aurora’s next words made him freeze.
"But listen carefully," she said, her voice low like a warning.
"If I don’t see any progress... if you’re still the same lazy, fake person after two years... I’ll take back every single penny I spent on you. You’ll pay me back in full. I don’t care how you do it. Understand?"
Micah sat there in complete silence, unable to believe his ears. His chest rose and fell quickly, like he couldn’t catch his breath.
This was... real?
For the first time in years, someone wasn’t offering him a deal in exchange for his body. Someone was giving him a real chance.
His throat tightened, and before he could stop himself, his eyes burned.
He quickly looked down, hiding his face.
Aurora watched him, but she didn’t say anything.
Inside, Micah’s heart was a mess.
She’s... actually helping me. Not because she wants something from me. Not because she’s using me. Just... because she’s giving me a chance.
Out of all the rich, powerful women he had met... Ms. Dawn... Aurora... was the first one to show him this kind of mercy.
For a brief second, he hated himself for all the things he had done. The lies. The fake smiles. The nights he spent pretending to love people just to get a little help.
None of those women ever cared about me... Not like this.
Micah took a deep, shaky breath and wiped his eyes quickly with the back of his hand. "I... I don’t deserve this," he said softly.
Aurora’s voice cut through the air like a knife. "Stop," she said sharply.
"Regretting won’t fix anything. Wallowing in self-pity won’t help you. If you really want to change, then forget all the stupid things you did before and start over."
Micah looked at her, his eyes wide and full of new emotion. ƒгeewebnovёl_com
Aurora crossed her arms and added,
"From this day forward, you’re going to work harder than you ever did in your life. I’ll give you opportunities, but I won’t give you any more warnings after this."
Micah’s heart pounded in his chest. Slowly, he stood up from his seat and bowed deeply toward her.
"Thank you... Thank you so much... Miss Dawn," he said, his voice shaking with both fear and hope.
Aurora didn’t respond to his thanks. She simply waved her hand casually.
"Don’t thank me yet," she said. "Earn it."
After the meeting ended, Aurora gave a small nod, her expression calm but clear.
Micah and Jonnah, understanding the signal, stood up quickly. Both of them bowed low in front of her.
"We promise, Miss Dawn," Jonnah said seriously. "We’ll both work hard and be useful to you."
Micah, still feeling emotional from earlier, nodded quickly. "Yes! We won’t let you down!" he said, his voice a little shaky but full of determination.
Aurora smiled faintly and waved her hand like she was sending them away. "Go."
Without another word, the two of them left the room, their backs straight and their faces full of new purpose.
As soon as the door closed behind them, Aurora’s smile vanished. She turned her head slightly toward Emily, who was standing nearby like always.
"Emily," Aurora said calmly. "Release all the files and black evidence we have on Owen. I want him completely destroyed. I don’t want to see his face in the entertainment industry ever again."
Emily’s eyes widened just a little at the order, but she quickly nodded. "Yes, Miss Dawn."
However, for a brief second, Emily’s expression turned hesitant. Aurora noticed it right away and raised an eyebrow.
"What is it?" Aurora asked, her voice a little sharper.
Emily bit her lip before speaking carefully. "Miss Dawn... our influence in the entertainment world is still very small. We don’t have that much power yet. Taking down someone like Owen... might be difficult."
Aurora laughed softly, waving her hand like it wasn’t a big deal. "Don’t worry about that. Influence will come soon enough. As long as we have money... making connections won’t be a problem."
Emily looked at Aurora with a surprised expression. "Do you... already have a plan?"
Aurora smiled, her eyes glinting with playfulness. "That’s why I like you, Emily. You’re smart. You always know when to ask the right questions."
Emily gave a small smile but didn’t say anything else. She understood that when Aurora had that kind of smile... big things were about to happen.
Just then, Aurora’s phone buzzed with a bank notification.
She glanced at the screen lazily, thinking it was just a small message about money being deducted for something.
But when she saw the number... she blinked.
"$10 million...?" Aurora muttered, her eyes narrowing.
Her fingers moved quickly as she checked her rebate bank account.
Sure enough... $10 million had been deposited.
Her heart skipped a beat.
"Huh... That was fast..." she whispered to herself.
In her mind, she quickly guessed what might have happened. "Did Micah and Jonnah already open a company under Theodore’s name and move funds?" she wondered. "No... in just two minutes? Impossible."
Her eyes sparkled as another thought hit her. "Then... does this mean my rebate system got upgraded?"
Feeling excited, she scrolled further through her account history.
Her eyes widened again.
Another deposit.
"$50 million?!" she gasped, staring at the rebate from Spencer.
Aurora almost wanted to jump up and cheer right there.
With this much money, she could invest in so many projects... buy more resources... crush more enemies... and most importantly... grow her empire.
Aurora’s mood lifted instantly. She motioned to Emily.
"Let’s go," she said with a big smile. "We have work to do."
Emily smiled too and quickly followed her. Together, the two walked downstairs, heading toward the main entrance.
But just as they stepped outside... chaos struck.
A small kid, maybe five or six years old, came running at full speed like a little rocket.
