Chapter 213: Chapter 213

"What would be intresting is my foot up your ass!"

Arion scoffed. "Such foul language. As expected of a mortal. You don’t deserve to socialize with the gods!"

"You act like I give a fuck. I don’t even worship Luminera, yet you think I care about mingling with you stuck-up ugly bastards? Think again."

"Hypocrite."

"Born and proud!" Zion fired back.

Arion had had enough and charged at Zion, with him doing the same.

"Let’s see just how strong a God is!" Zion shouted in excitement

"I will rip out your heart!"

"I will just grow back!"

The two clashed fists, and energy erupted from the collision, vaporizing everything in the vicinity.

Zion was pushed back, taken off guard by the power of the god inhabiting a mortal body. His arm broke and was unusable.

"Foolish mortal, thinking you can stand a chance against me. I’ll show you the difference between a moral and a god!" Arion continued his assault, attacking on the side of his broken arm, making Zion’s defense struggle.

Zion, however, rushed in, not caring about his destroyed arm. The nanosuit receded from his broken arm, then Zion tore it off.

Arion was stunned, not expecting him to do such a primitive act. "W-What?!"

"Did you expect me to run away simply because my arm was broken? Think again dumbass!" Zion charged his arm with power, swinging it like a club as it struck Arion’s face.

He kicked the god in the chest, then threw his arm at him, clenched his good hand, and caused the arm to explode.

"Heh, I’ve always wanted to do that." Zion laughed, regrowing his arm.

He took one step forward, and a faint glint caught his eye. In a split second, Zion dodged, narrowly avoiding a spear to the face.

"Woah! That was close!"

"Die, Mortal!"

Arion struck down hard, but Zion blocked his attack. He followed up with a kick which was also blocked, so he tried to sweep his legs, but Zion jumped to avoid it, then kneed Arion in the face.

"Gahh!" Blood dripped from his nose as pain shot into his face. "How dare you make a god bleed!"

"Dude, first of all, you’re not here, second of all, that’s not even your body. Konnor is bleeding, not you." Zion corrected him.

"Arrogant!"

"Whatever. If this is how you’re going to be, then killing you in person is going to be a piece of cake."

Arion didn’t like that and charged in again. He summoned a sword, which prompted Zion to do the same. The two clashed, holy power versus ancient relic, both of them not backing down.

The god broke the clash, kicking Zion in the chest. He followed up with a lasso to wrap around Zion’s neck.

But Zion reacted quickly.

He quickly regained his footing, then extended his leg, allowing the lasso to wrap around it. Jerking his leg back, Arion was pulled toward him. Zion switched his sword into a shield, then bashed it against the god’s head.

"Aryah."

"On it." She replied.

Nature warped, bending to her will as it trapped the god inside its clutches.

Trapped in a cocoon-like object, Arion tried to escape, but the cocoon exploded before he could.

Zion was already near Arion after the explosion went off, punching the god into the ground with devastating force.

"Don’t think I’ll fall to such attacks!" Arion growled, standing back up.

"Oh, I don’t think you’ll fall to that, you’re a god after all. But Konnor, on the other hand...not so much."

Then Arion realised it, Konnor’s body was breaking down, not strong enough to handle Arion’s descent and a fight against Zion at the same time.

"Did you not notice it?" Zion asked. "Our first clash destroyed my arm, yet every other encounter was either equal or in my favor. Konnor is dying, and because of that, you’re power is getting weaker."

"IT WILL STILL BE ENOUGH TO KILL YOU!" Arion tried to use his speed to blitz Zion, but before he could even take one step, four metallic devices clung to his arms and legs, lifting him up in the air.

"What is this? Let me go!" Arion demanded, his anger surging through the heavens.

"While you’re still here, I want you to get a taste of my most powerful weapon. Tessa, use the antimatter. Oh, and put a barrier up, I don’t want the world to get destroyed."

[Already done]

A digital square barrier formed around Arion, trapping him inside.

Up in space, Zion’s satellites hummed, charging its destructive power, now fueled with antimatter.

"Oh yeah, it’s time for the fireworks." Zion smiled as a massive beam tore through the clouds, crashing down on Arion and completely obliterating him.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

If it wasn’t for the barrier, the laser would have torn through the ground and entered the planet’s core, as there was so much antimatter contained in the blast.

"Damn! I was not expecting that. This is way more powerful than the one against Gonrod, and that was with all satellites working together."

[The energy output had been improved, drawing energy from the sun for extra power. Also, like you wanted, antimatter was added to the mix.] freēwēbnovel.com

"Yeah. I knew it would be more powerful, but damn, not by this much. I wonder how powerful it will be if I combine the energy of every satellite like I did last time?"

[World Destruction.]

"Heh, yeah, probably."

Zion looked down at the charred corpse of Konnor. He reached down and absorbed his essence, just like he did with Nimreth.

"Two down, three more to go."

[Who’s next?]

"The dwarves."

[They won’t take kindly to being invaded]

"Just give them some good alcohol and they’ll fold."

[I hope that’s the case]

"Let’s go help Mom. Not that she needs it, but-"

A blade of demonic energy flew past Zion’s head, narrowly missing it as he managed to move out of the way in time.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. A stray demon."

"You ruined everything!" The demon shouted, panting heavily.

"You must be Dravorn. The demon was a part of the council that was meant to take over the middle world. Damn, I remember when I had you all as top priority back when I was in Alfheim. Now, I totally forgot about you all." Zion took one step forward, and Dravorn readied another spell.

"Don’t take another step!" He warned

"Honestly, it’s funny seeing you demons in a position where you’re the weaker one. I used to be wary of a mid-ranked demon, but now, you’re the last thing on my mind."

He pulled Dravorn toward him with Aura force, clutching his throat.

"Let’s see what’s in that head of yours," Zion said with a demonic smile.

"No! Nooooooooooo!"
