"You see, during the first war. Demons and Angels-"

"Yeah, I don’t give a fuck about that." Zion interrupted. "Get to the point already."

"Damn! Couldn’t even let her finish. I respect it, though. You were kind of taking a while to get to the point. Even I was starting to fall asleep." Erebosa teased

Erebosa hid behind Lilith. "Sorry, sis."

"Anyway," Luminera cleared her throat. "After the war, we decided to create life on the planet my sister and I made. So, together, we made the races of the Middle world. We allowed for demons and angels to teach their ways and cultures with them and help them progress to a better future."

Zion chimed in. "Let me guess, another war broke out."

She sighed. "Yeah, another war broke out. So this time, we made two more realms, the underworld and the upper world, where demons and angels live til this day. Then, I birthed five children to watch over the angels and each race individually, while I watched over everything. Erebosa did the same, birthing five devils to watch over the demons as well as the races of the middle world."

Erebosa continued for Luminera. "But that turned out to be a big mistake. We thought that having all of our creations, our children would mingle with each other, they would find peace, and live together in harmony. Instead, another war broke out. This was the one you learn about in your history, the war that happened ten thousand years ago."

Now Zion was interested as they were getting to the good stuff.

"The demons, who worshiped the devils, didn’t like that the humans, dwarves, elves, beastmen, and dragons worshiped the gods, as the devils were also made in the image of the races as well. So, they attacked and tried to force the middle world into submission."

Luminera chimmed back in. "But that didn’t turn out as they hoped. The gods and angels fought back, not wanting the people who worshiped them to die since their power would wane.

It was a deadly battle, and many people lost their lives. So, we took the most powerful of the five races in the middle world, gave them our power, and crafted them the ancient relics. They were known as heroes. I aided them in pushing the demons and devils back, while Erebosa focused on trapping them in the underworld."

"You succeeded, right? Since the demons couldn’t cross over. But I’m guessing it wansnt permanent." Zion assumed.

Erebosa nodded. "I succeeded in trapping the demons in the underworld and the devils in hell. However, I used a lot of my power. When they found out, they were furious, so they attacked me and almost killed me. Lilith here was the only one who never cared for the conflict and helped me escape. I’ve been in hiding ever since, regaining my strength."

"I wasn’t so lucky," Limunera spoke up. "The gods, learning what happened to their devil siblings, wiped out my followers, then attacked me when I wasn’t prepared. Even the heroes teamed up with them to attack me. I managed to kill the heroes, but I failed to stop the gods from killing me. So, in a desperate attempt to survive, I separated my soul from my body right before my death, and trapped myself in a void where space and time didn’t exist. Then, for the next few million years, I summoned souls from different worlds to aid me, and all failed."

"This is why you’re important to us, Zion." Erebosa said, standing up to put her hand on his shoulder." You’re the first person who’s managed to make it this far. Everything you’ve done has never been done before. You have a chance to help us reclaim our rightful place as the god and devil of this world."

Zion felt flattered, but he wasn’t letting this attention cloud his mind. "Well. That sounds lovely. But there’s a small problem."

"What is it?" The twins asked in unison.

"He’s weak as fuck." Lilith blurted out.

"Yeah." Zion pointed at her with his thumb. "What she said. I’m weak as fuck. Luminera, I’m sure you know about my mana method. I’m in the mystic stage, combined with my cultivation method and with the power of a divine apostle. Yet I’m still weak compared to this sex crazed demon over there."

Erebosa’s eyes lit up. "Don’t worry about that. We have a solution."

"Yeah, I already know about becoming a demi-god and shit."

She shook her head. "No, that isn’t what I’m talking about. I’m talking about how you can use multiple energies at once. I’ll make you my apostle as well."

"What?" Zion didn’t know what to say. Was that even possible? Would he die? He wanted to ask so many questions.

"You’ll become a divine and devil apostle. The best of both worlds." Erebosa grabbed both of his shoulders and engulfed him in her devilish energy, turning him into a devil apostle.

"Fuck! Fuck! It burns! M-My body!" Zion fell to the floor and started convulsing in pain. He could feel his power fight off the infernal energy that tried to dwell in his body.

"Arghhhhhh!!!!" Aryah, too, felt it, her body being more damaged than Zion’s, as she was a spirit.

"Really, Erebosa? You couldn’t have waited first?" Luminera asked

"What? He can handle it. He handled your power, didn’t he?"

"He was dead first of all. Second, I didn’t dump a shit ton of infernal energy into his body!" Luminera truly cared for Zion and didn’t want to see him get hurt like this.

"Relax, he’s mortal. If he is able to control it, the infernal energy will turn into demonic energy, just like how divine power turns into holy power in a mortal. He’ll also become really strong. Then, we can teach him about Authorities."

"If he survives, that is," Lilith muttered.

Luminera gritted her teeth. "Zion, if you die, I’ll fucking kill you! We’ve made it this far, so don’t die on me now!"

"F-Fuck you!" He cried out in pain.

"He’s fine. If he has time to curse, then he already has a way to contain the energy. Let’s just wait until he’s done." Luminera sat down and started eating some chips.

"Hey, let me have some girl. Those look good."

Lilith joined the two of them.

’Help! Help me please!’ Zion cried on the ground as he went through some of the worst pain of his life.
