Blade of the Goddess-Chapter 205
Chapter 205: Chapter 205
On one side of Lilith’s room was a large body mirror. She walked up to it, touching the surface, and a purple light rippled through the glass. After a second, the mirror disappeared, replaced by a purple portal that led to the place where he was taking Zion.
"Ready?" She asked
"Yeah. I hope your master is hot." He commented
"Oh, she’s hot alright. Let’s go. She’s dying to meet you."
And so they walked in.
Instantly, the world around Zion shifted and space contorted. He was thrown out of Lilith’s room and was now in a dimly lit area that had a stairwell leading downward.
The two of them walked down the stairs, passing pictures and drawings of a black and golden star side by side.
Zion frowned his brow upon seeing the weird drawings, but he paid no mind to them and continued to walk down the stairs.
It continued on for a good ten minutes, spiraling around, leading back up, going back down, breaking off from one section to connect to another, and so on.
Finally, they arrived at a large metal door with the words ’Enter at your own risk!’ written on it.
"So your master lives in there?" Zion asked
"Yeah. She likes to keep to herself. I’m sure you can guess that was the case by how long it took us to reach this place, with the constant shifting of the stairs and all."
Zion nodded.
Lilith knocked on the door. "Master, we’re here. I’ve brought him."
"Ohhh, finally. I get to meet the boy who captured Luminera’s heart." The voice said from behind the door.
Zion’s body jolted in surprise. He was confused. The woman who spoke sounded a lot like Luminera. No, their voices were identical, minus the energy Lilith’s master put into her voice to sound more lively.
"Come in, come in. I can’t have you two waiting out there all day, can I?"
Zion turned to Lilith. "This is some creepy shit. Why does she have Luminera’s voice?"
She smiled, opening the door. "Why don’t you see for yourself?" ƒree𝑤ebnσvel-com
Upon entering. Zion was greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere. The room was dimly lit with purple torches lighting up the room. There was a carpet that said ’sisters for life’ and a throne with a woman sitting on it.
As Zion looked closer at the woman, his jaw dropped.
"What the fuck?! Luminera, did you enter your goth phase or something? What’s up with the black? I thought you were back in my fracture."
The woman smiled, turning to Lilith, then turning back to Zion. "That’s cute, you think I’m Luminera. I mean, I can understand why you would get us confused, we are twins after all. Although I was certain the colors we wear would be enough to know we’re not the same person."
Zion’s brain exploded. "Wait, wait, what? Twins? As in sisters? Huh? How?"
"Oh my, did she not tell you? Well, I suppose it’s not every day when a goddess reveals that her twin sister is a devil."
Zion paused, slowly turning to Luminera’s sister. "Devil?" He asked
"Mhmm, that’s right. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Erebosa. The Devil of Darkness, silver, barrenness, and death."
"The opposite of Luminera," Zion muttered under his breath.
"That’s right. Although that only applies to our abilities. We look the same after all."
She wasn’t lying when she said they looked the same. However, there were notable differences between them.
For instance, Liminera has golden hair and golden eyes, while Erebosa has silver hair and silver eyes. Luminera wears a white toga with golden jewelry and a white fur cloak. Erabosa wears a black toga with silver jewelry and a black fur cloak.
While Luminera looked divine and loving, Erebosa looked devilish and powerful, someone you knew not to fuck with.
Zion gulped. "S-So, what is it that you want?"
Erebosa frowned. "Did Lilith not tell you about what I want you to do?"
Zion nodded. "She did, sorry, I’m just overwhelmed right now."
"Hahahaha! It’s okay, I understand. So, tell me, Zion. What is my sister having you do? What is your mission?"
"There are five gods that rule over the middle world, each of them a specific race. They gave their power to one individual of their race to enact their will, a Divine Apostle. My task is to kill all the divine apostles, take over each kingdom, and convert them into believers of Luminera. Once that’s done, I would then kill the gods for her." Zion finished explaining.
"I see. So, do you know who those gods are?" Erebosa asked.
"No, and I don’t care. All I care about is getting the job done. And I’m close to it as well."
She smiled. "Really now? Please, tell me what measures you’re taking to kill the gods. They weren’t weak, you know. After all, they’re the reason why she and I are in the predicament we’re in currently."
"What do you mean? Well, I know about Luminera, but what about you?" Zion asked.
"I’ll explain everything," Luminera said, coming out of Zion’s fracture.
"Woah! Don’t do that. Almost gave me a heart attack."
She popped Zion’s head. "Before I explain. Give her permission to your realm. I will make talking to her easier in the future."
And so he did.
"Now, where should I begin?" Luminera wondered.
"How about at the beginning?"
She nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense. Zion, I’m not sure if you know this, but everything in the world, no, the universe has an opposite. Good and Evil. Light and Dark. Chaos and Order. Yin and Yang."
"Yeah."
"Well, the same thing applies to divine beings. Where there is a god, there is a devil. Now, this doesn’t mean a good is good and a devil is bad. It just means our nature is the opposite. For example, I’m a goddess of life while my sister is a devil of death. The opposite of a god is a devil, and so we’ll also have the opposite powers when it comes to our nature, well, in the case of us, since we’re twins."
Zion nodded as he followed along.
"Together, we created this world in our image. Heaven and Hell are primordial places in the universe, and each world has its own version of them. I made heaven in this world in my image, and Erebosa did the same with hell. So, we needed to populate those places, and so we created angels and demons, the opposite of each other in nature, but not different in their being."
"I’m sure that backfired." Zion assumed.
Luminera nodded. "It led to the first-ever war between angels and demons."
