Chapter 157: Chapter 157

"You’re early," Nimreth said plainly, her eyes darting to Melina, who was breathing heavily, blood dripping down her face.

"What’s your goal?" He asked. "What do you gain from siding with the demons?"

"What do you gain from being the Apostle of a forgotten goddess?" She countered, her face smug.

"You have no idea." For a brief moment, pain and sorrow appeared on Zion’s face. He remembered back to his destroyed world and how desperate he was to save it.

"You have your reasons, and so do I. That’s all there is to it."

Zion sighed. "It’s unfortunate, really."

"What is?"

"The fact that someone as beautiful as yourself is going to die. I don’t like killing beautiful ladies, but sometimes, I have no choice."

Nimreth couldn’t help but bust out laughing. She laughed so hard that she leaned forward, clutching her belly because of how intense her laughter was.

"YOU think you can kill me? Oh, that was the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while. While everything didn’t go as planned, you’re still not in a position to kill me."

Zion’s eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"We knew about your triumph in the Astir kingdom, beating Gonrod, that is. The council was furious, so we needed to form a plan. When you revealed yourself as a Divine Apostle, we got a great idea. We attacked Alfheim, staged a kidnapping, and waited for you to arrive in the Holy City of Light. There, you would rescue me, seek my aid to drive out the gangs in the city, then I would kill you."

"But that didn’t happen."

She sighed. "I know. I wasn’t expecting you to completely kill everyone in two days, so we had to alter our plans. We decided to focus on weakening Alfheim’s defenses before striking heavily. Then, I would turn on everyone bla bla bla, I’m sure you get the rest."

"Wow. That’s an awful plan. Like, I mean awful. That shit is so trash that I want to punch you in the face for thinking that you could kill me so easily."

"Well, let’s see which divine apostle is stronger." She smirked, readying her magic. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

"Me? Oh, no, I won’t be fighting you. I have more important things to do. You’ll be fighting her instead. Come out, Aryah."

"MMMASTERRRRRR!" She appeared out of thin air and hugged Zion tightly as his head was engulfed by her large tits. "Am I really fighting? Can I fight?! Please let me fight her!!"

"Yup, she’s all yours," Zion replied, his voice muffled by Aryahs boobs.

"Pwhahahaha! A spirit? You want a spirit to fight me? You must be out of your mind to think I’ll fall to such a lowly creature." Nimreth laughed, increasing her mana.

Aryah looked at her with disgust and annoyance. She let go of Zion, floating closer to Nimreth, and released her own power.

Nature warped, bending to Aryah’s will as she powered up to maximum. Every element obeyed her command, bowing in her presence as she decided to take her first steps onto the dirt ground.

She was no ordinary spirit, no mere Nymph. Aryah embodied the power of every element, fused with radiant holy energy. She was something new, something never seen before. A Divine Spirit—the first of her kind.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?" She asked, her voice bellowing with power that even made Nimreth gulp in slight fear.

’W-What even is she? There’s no way she’s a spirit! No spirit is this powerful! W-Wait, could she be a spirit King? B-But that’s impossible, they wouldn’t cross over to interfere with the material world problems.’ Nimreth couldn’t wrap her head around why Aryah held so much power, but one thing she knew was that if she didn’t kill her now, she would die.

"You think you can scare me?!" As a divine apostle, there were few things that could harm her. As one of the people who reached the top of the middle world, Nimreth was confident in her power.

She poured everything she had into one spell—runes, magic circles, every last drop of strength, and as much holy power as her body could endure. The spell struck with such catastrophic force that it shattered a quarter of Alfheim’s land in an instant.

"That’s it?" Aryah asked, standing in the same spot as if she hadn’t just hit with a continent-altering spell. The craziest part was that she didn’t even defend herself. She just tanked the attack like it was nothing.

The fear Nimreth felt was indescribable. She tried to speak, tried to attack again, but her body wouldn’t move. She was scared, too scared to do anything. She was frozen with fear as Aryah’s golden eyes stared into her soul.

"You’re nothing more than a worm, groveling beneath my feet." She stepped forward, erasing the space between her and Nimreth. "Know your fucking place." Power gathered at her fingertips, dense and blinding—its presence alone made even Zion flinch. "Trash."

She tapped Nimreth’s chest gently. There was no explosion, no blinding surge of energy. But space fractured, and time itself seemed to stutter. For a moment, everything stilled. Then, without warning, a beam of unimaginable power erupted from Aryah’s fingertips, tearing through the world and splitting the continent of Alfheim in two.

"Mmm, that felt good. Did I do good, master?" Aryah turned around to see Zion standing there with his mouth agape and his eyes in shock.

"What’s wrong? Why are you reacting this way?"

"Y-You....You just....You just...." Zion stammered, barely able to get any words out. "What the fuck just happened?!"

"I don’t know what you mean? I just killed her like you wanted. Did I do something bad?" She asked, a bit confused.

"No, you did great, but I didn’t know you were that powerful." He admitted.

"I-It’s because she’s a Spirit King, or Queen, I guess," Melina answered weakly, using Zion to stand up.

"Spirit Queen? I thought there could only be one of them per spirit race?"

"That’s correct. But Aryah doesn’t follow the normal system. She’s not just a fire spirit, or a light spirit, or a metal spirit. She’s a spirit of all elements, one of her kind. That alone would make her different from every other spirit. And on top of that, she holds holy power, which only makes her that much different. She isn’t just a Nymph, she’s a spirit queen and probably the most powerful out of all the Spirit Kings."
