[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 314: Imperial Princess
The Emperor smiled. "That’s more like it."
He sighed as he continued. "What a pity. The pathetic kingdom has fallen into the hands of a woman. That’s definitely not my business. But I wonder if the Wizard of El is still around there. He suddenly disappeared, all thanks to you. Have you found any sign of where he could be?"
"No... I haven’t."
"Useless," the Emperor sighed. "You should work harder if you want to keep what belongs to you. Don’t piss me off too much, else I’ll regard you as useless to me now."
"I will," he assured.
"The death of that old man certainly was his doing. So maybe you could start with investigating it," the Emperor said.
"And because of that death, I’m already getting stressed. It seems the Kingdom of Khan isn’t taking it lightly. They most certainly wish to go to war against the Kingdom of Valencrest."
He sighed. "What do you think? Do you think I should let the war happen?" the Emperor asked.
"You know best, so I’ll trust whatever decision you end up making," the priest said.
"Right? The Emperor should always know," he sighed. "Maybe I’ll consider letting the war break out if I find a way it could benefit me here. And then I can side with the Kingdom of Khan. That useless Valencrest kingdom has been a burden to me. And their useless king, who I had under my fingertips, is already dead. What’s the point?"
The Emperor sighed as though he was bored of everything. And then he said, "Till then, just keep making efforts to find that useless wizard. I want him fast. I can’t believe that even after my official decree of rewarding whoever brings his head, no one is still able to find him. Is he that invincible?"
"He’s rather... sneaky," the priest said.
"Useless people. How can they not even find him?" He rolled his eyes. "Just make sure you find him faster. I don’t have any patience. I want to end this in a short time."
"I’ll try."
"Don’t try," the Emperor said as he got to his feet. "Make sure you achieve it."
Just then, a guard walked in.
"What is it?"
"The Imperial Princess... she..."
The Emperor casually stared at him. "What now? What drama is she pulling off now?"
"She is threatening to kill herself... we can’t seem to stop her. She has a dagger."
The Emperor rolled his eyes. "Not again."
He turned to the priest. "Make sure you keep your word. I don’t have any patience left."
"Yes."
And so he walked off.

The Emperor left in the company of guards. He made his way through the corridors of the palace till he finally arrived at his destination—the chamber of the Imperial Princess.
They all bowed as they saw him coming. "Where is she?"
"In there," one of the guards said.
"Open the door."
They did as the Emperor said.
"Stay here," he told them as he walked into the chamber alone and the door was closed. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
The Emperor walked in and caught sight of Princess Cordelia on her knees, a dagger positioned at her wrist as she cried.
The two of them were alone there as the Emperor put both hands behind him, staring at her. "What is it now? What stupid game are you playing?"
"Bring back mummy!" she said in tears, the dagger in her hands. "Bring her back now to me, or I’ll kill myself and the messages I’ve written will be sent out exposing all you’ve done."
The Emperor scoffed. "Little girl, are you threatening me or what?" He walked up to her. "Didn’t we make a deal? You didn’t fulfill your word in our deal, so I did what I said I’d do: take the Empress away. So why are you acting up now?"
Tears rolled down Princess Cordelia’s eyes as she glared at the Emperor. What ran through that expression of hers was fear and detest.
"How could you take her away?! I was already going to keep the deal. I’ve clung to the Crown Prince and would marry him as we agreed. I did everything. So how is it my fault the mess happened at the engagement? It’s unfair and illogical!"
She snapped, the dagger at her wrist.
He smiled. "You’re getting bolder with your words, girl. But that doesn’t matter. The deal was: if you didn’t marry him, I’d take your dear mother away and lock you up here. And that’s what I’m doing. So quit whining and serve your punishment while praying that I forgive you and find another use for you."
Tears rolled down her eyes as she stared at her father. "You monster... I’ll just kill myself and let the world know how monstrous you are!"
He laughed. "Go ahead. Do you think I’ll sit back and let you take down my name? Did you forget how much power I have? I can easily fabricate the reason for your stupid death. At least I’ll be more peaceful without having to put up with your annoying self anymore."
She cried as she stared at him, the dagger shaking in her hands.
"Go ahead. Kill yourself. Try me and let’s see how it all ends. And maybe your dear mother could also take her life," he smiled.
She shivered in fear and disgust as she stared at him, the dagger falling from her hands as the Emperor sighed.
"What? You can’t do it anymore?" He raised an eyebrow. "What a pity. I was finally going to get rid of you."
"You..." Princess Cordelia was speechless.
"I think at this point you’ve grown increasingly useless to me. So I’m still considering what to do with you. So in the meantime, just be quiet and don’t make a fuss."
"And about your mother... maybe if you’re a good girl, you’ll see her again. If not, I can’t guarantee anything," he smiled as he turned to leave.
"You monster!" she screamed in tears, sobbing hard. But the Emperor left without even looking back.
While she cried aloud and screamed in pain, the Emperor walked out and had the doors closed and locked.
"The Imperial Princess is mentally unstable and showing signs of going insane. So don’t open the door for her, no matter what," he said.
"Yes," the guards chorused.
