Sebastian’s POV

We decided to head to dad’s office to talk about Louis, I am with Stella and the private detective that dad hired. There were a few questions that the detective asked about Louis’s girlfriend. I know that dad doesn’t want Michelle to be involved in our issue but I think the detective needs to know this and it might help in finding Louis. I answered all the detective’s questions even though I know that dad didn’t agree with it. When the detective found out about Michelle, he talked to dad, and eventually, he finally agreed to include Michelle in the meeting. Dad immediately told me to call Michelle so I got up from my seat and walked out of the office. I dialed Michelle’s number; it rang three times before she answered my call.

"Sebastian?" Michelle said on the other line.

"Hi, Michelle, are you busy today?"

"Um, no, I’m just at home, something happened? why did you ask?"

"Can you go to dad’s house today? We need you here right now. "

"Okay, sure, but could I know the reason? Does your dad ask me to go there?

"Um... not really my dad, but the detective wants to see you, he has a few questions to ask you that might help in finding Louis."

"I see, but is it okay with your dad that I go to your house?"

"He had no choice because that was what the detective said to him. So, in the end, he finally agreed."

"Okay, I’ll go there then. Thank you, Sebastian."

"Thank you? For what? "

"For helping me find Louis."

"Oh, please, don’t thank me, Michelle. Louis is my brother, it is my responsibility as well to find him."

"Still, thank you and to Stella as well."

"No problem. See you later then. By the way, do you still remember how to get here? Do you want me to send the location? "

"Oh, no, it is okay. Don’t worry I still remember how to get there."

"Okay, great. See you later, bye."

When our conversation ended, I went back inside the office and sat down next to Stella, I noticed that she was suddenly stunned for a few seconds so I talked to her. After a while, dad said that he need to rest for a while and the detective had an important call to catch up on, so Stella and I were the only ones left.

While we were talking, her phone suddenly rang so she answered it, she didn’t use the loudspeaker on the other line so I didn’t hear what they were talking about but I heard Stella mention Louis’s name so I have a strong feeling that what they are talking about has something to do with Louis. When their conversation ended, I immediately asked Stella why I heard Louis’ name but instead of her answering me she asked me if Edward already knew about Louis’ disappearance, I told Stella that I don’t know and I also don’t know if dad ever said anything about it so I asked why she asked. Stella says that Carla heard Apple talking on her phone last night and she heard that Apple mentioned Louis’s name.

I asked why Apple mentioned Louis’s name but Stella told me that Carla didn’t know the reason.

I immediately wondered what Stella told me, what was Apple’s plan or purpose for Louis? It is impossible that She had a motive for Louis’s disappearance because she did not know anything about what was going on within our family or in our business. I suddenly remembered Edward because he was Apple’s boyfriend. Can he be the one that Apple talking to on the phone and if it is Edward is what they are talking about. I had to go to dad in his room and ask if Edward knew what had happened to Louis.

"Stella, I need to go to dad’s room, I need to talk to him about this thing, can you be alone here for a minute? I’ll be right back, don’t worry."

"Okay, no problem as long as you calm down no matter what you say to your dad."

"Yes, sweetheart, thank you for the concern."

I left Stella in the office and went to dad’s room. I knocked three times on his door before he opened it. He looks tired and seems like he hasn’t slept since last night. I’m sure he is already worried about Louis.

"Does Michelle arrive already?" dad asked.

"She didn’t arrive yet, but I want to ask you something, dad. Can I come inside your room first? "

"Sure, come in. What are you going to ask? "

"Did you already tell Edward about Louis’s disappearance?"

I saw dad’s astonished reaction, even though he didn’t tell me I already knew his answer.

"I haven’t told him about Louis yet, why did you ask?"

"Because Stella’s friend called earlier, she said she heard Apple talking to someone on the phone last night, she heard them talking about Louis, and you know she’s Edward’s girlfriend, right? because he himself introduced Apple to us."

Dad looked at me seriously as he stood in his room. "What do you mean? Did Edward have anything to do with Louis’s disappearance? "

"I’m not saying that dad, but he may know where Louis is now."

"My head hurts. What is Edward’s motive, here? Why does he have to keep it a secret from us if he knows where Louis is," dad said in confusion.

"I don’t know, dad, we’d better talk to Edward about this. And if he has a bad motive for our family, I will hit him even if we’re cousins. "

"Sebastian, just relax, you’re still his cousin no matter what happens."

"I know, but that doesn’t mean he has no bad intentions in our business. Remember dad, the person you trust so much has also deceived you, it will not be far off for us to happen again. "

I saw dad take a deep breath once holding his head. He seems to be confused by what’s going on. "What do you think was his motive, if he had anything to do with Louis’s disappearance?"

"I don’t know what his motive is and whatever it is, I’m sure we’ll know because we are the ones going to talk to him."

"I’m going to take him to his condo."

"Are you really going to tell me that, dad? I hope you also didn’t rush your decision when you said those words to Louis and maybe he doesn’t disappear now and we are not getting crazy just to find him now. By the way, maybe Michelle has arrived, I need to go, " I said.

I didn’t wait for dad to speak and I left his room. When I got to the office, I first took a deep breath and tried to calm myself. When I opened the door, I found Michelle talking to Stella, I also saw the detective sitting as well already.

"Okay, thanks for the answer, I asked this to find out if your relationship has lasted long enough for Louis to trust you. And I hope you will answer everything I ask you truthfully. "

"Good, my other question is, did you notice anything strange about your dad before he was imprisoned? I mean except for the illegal activities he is involved in of course."
