Stella’s POV

We are here at Sebastian’s dad’s house now, and with the private investigator they hired, Michelle also wanted to come with us, but Sebastian said that it would be better for her to not come and we just let her know later. We went to Sebastian’s dad’s office. We just sat quietly while waiting for the private investigator to say something.

"Do you know any reason why you can’t contact Mr. Louis? " the investigator asked.

"We had a bad understanding with Louis before he disappeared," Sebastian’s dad explained.

"Is that so Mr. Miller. Do you know anyone who may have a bad motive in you or your family" the investigator asked again.

"There is, it’s Steve, you already know him, right?" Sebastian’s said.

"Of course Mr. Miller, I know him but we also know that he is currently in jail, so how does he have anything to do with the loss of your son?"

"I also don’t know but I have a strong feeling that he had something to do with Louis’s disappearance," said Sebastian’s dad.

"Okay, but we still don’t have enough evidence about that. It would be better for us to investigate first about Louis’s disappearance or if he is really missing because his condition may be fine now and he may be just decided to be alone that is why he is still not showing to all of you, " the detective explained.

"That is impossible, detective because I know my brother. He can’t afford to be gone for a long time and he also can’t afford to see me. And most of all, he has a girlfriend and I know he can’t ignore it,"

"Okay, but your dad didn’t tell me that your brother has a girlfriend. If you don’t mind, who is his girlfriend? And it might help us looking for your brother."

Louis looked at his father. He knew his dad wouldn’t like what he going to say but the detective needed to know about it.

"Her name is Michelle and she’s Steve’s daughter," Sebastian said.

The investigator was suddenly surprised by what Sebastian said. It was obvious from his reaction that he was shocked.

"You look surprised detective," Sebastian said.

"Oh, sorry, I was just shocked and your dad didn’t tell me about it. I don’t know anything regarding this," the investigator said while looking to Sebastian’s dad.

"I know, dad doesn’t want Michelle to be involved in this situation," Sebastian said.

"Really? And why? " the investigator asked confusion.

"Because he’s Steve’s daughter," Sebastian response.

"I see, but he might help us to find Louis."

"I know, detective, but dad is hard to convince, " Sebastian replied.

The investigator looked at Sebastian’s dad, "Mr. Miller, Steve’s daughter could help us find Louis, he may have information to give us especially and this is Steve’s daughter," the detective explained.

Sebastian’s dad stood up in his seat and walked back and forth while holding his chin, he did it for a few seconds until he stopped and approached the detective.

"Do we really need her?" Sebastian’s dad asked.

"Yes, Mr. Miller, we need her and I also have questions I want to ask her. "

"Question? Like what?"

I was shocked by what Sebastian’s dad said. I didn’t know that it was his birthday next week and Sebastian didn’t tell me anything. I am wondering if he still wants to celebrate his birthday. I was also thinking about what kind of gift I should give him because I think he has everything already.

"Stella... Stella," said Sebastian who was next to me already.

"Oh, sorry, you’re done talking to Michelle?"
