Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 769 - 643: Don’t Annoy Me, Watch Out I’ll Bite You! (One more)
Yi Luowa spent the whole afternoon feeling empty inside. She even hoped the principal would call to say the two kids were causing trouble. But after checking her phone countless times, it remained silent.
Tong Airui chuckled and took her phone away. "Don’t let it bother you. You’ll be able to pick them up soon enough."
"Those two kids..." Yi Luowa shook her head helplessly. "By the way, you need to tell Yuan Hang to move into our house with them."
"No need to say anything. When they come home tonight, just keep them here."
"You’ll have to take care of that. From now on, I’m not bringing Kou’er along when I go out, and you should try not to assign Yuan Hang any more tasks."
"Alright. Wife, I think it’s time to add more people to our family."
Yi Luowa looked at him with confusion.
"Ziyan and Sangyu are starting kindergarten, and later they’ll be going to school. They need someone by their side. I’m thinking of transferring two people from the base to stay with them."
"Do what you think is best. I don’t have the energy to think about anything right now," Yi Luowa said as she rubbed her head. "Don’t just find people for the two of them—Pengpeng, Ziheng, Yu Lin, Yu..."
"Didn’t you say you don’t feel like meddling?" Tong Airui teased her.
"Don’t make me mad, or I’ll bite you!" Yi Luowa glared at him before resting her head on the table and glancing at the wall clock. "What time do they finish school?"
"We get off work when they finish school. It’s scheduled that way to accommodate working parents."
"That’s surprisingly considerate," Yi Luowa snorted.
Tong Airui smiled wryly, picked up the phone, and dialed Yuan Hang. It wasn’t long before Yuan Hang knocked on the door and walked in.
"Boss, did you need me for something?"
"I need you to go to the base and select a few people for Ziyan and the others."
Yi Luowa shot Tong Airui a glare, as if to say, "Didn’t we agree not to send Yuan Hang out?"
Tong Airui winked at her.
Yuan Hang immediately replied, "Alright, when should I leave?"
"Tomorrow morning. Don’t worry about Kou’er—let her stay at Duke’s residence for now. You two move into our house tonight; you’ll need to get up early to leave tomorrow."
Yuan Hang looked at him and chuckled, "You’re messing with me?"
"Messing with you? I’ve got better things to do. This is an order!"
"Understood!" Yuan Hang responded, pulling a face as he left the room.
Once Yuan Hang was gone, Yi Luowa laughed and said, "I really thought you were giving Yuan Hang a serious task."
"I am giving him a serious task. He’s reliable when it comes to picking people," Tong Airui replied.
"That works, I suppose. Two birds with one stone: send him away for a couple of days, and Kou’er can stay at our place." Yi Luowa glanced at the time again. "Ugh, why isn’t it time to leave work yet?"
"If you’re in such a rush, I’ll go with you now to pick them up."
"Don’t break the routine; I’ll just wait a bit longer." Yi Luowa picked up a document on the table and glanced at it. "Does this need to be printed?"
Tong Airui looked at it briefly. "Yeah."
"Alright, I’ll go print it. Sitting around just makes time move slower."
Tong Airui smiled, "Go ahead."
Yi Luowa pretended to busy herself for a while, but as soon as it was time, she grabbed Tong Airui and headed out the door.
When they arrived at the kindergarten entrance, there was still no one there. They waited together.
Before long, the children came out in orderly rows. Yi Luowa immediately spotted Ziyan and Sangyu standing at the front.
"Mama~"
"Daddy!"
The two little ones waved their small hands enthusiastically at their parents.
Yi Luowa smiled and asked their teacher about how the two kids were doing. Hearing that they had behaved quite well, she brought them to the car.
Looking at them, Yi Luowa smiled and said, "Those little uniforms look so handsome on you two!"
"Hehe... You think they look good too, don’t you!" Sangyu flipped her hair and puffed out her chest proudly.
Yi Luowa laughed, tidying up her daughter’s clothes. "Let Daddy drive us to pick up Aunt Kou’er."
Tong Airui chuckled and started the engine.
Ziyan grabbed Yi Luowa’s hand and said, "Mommy, the teacher said we wear navy uniforms in summer, army uniforms in autumn, and air force uniforms in winter."
"That’s quite impressive—land, sea, and air, you get to wear them all."
"Hehe... We also sleep with our classmates."
"There were so many of us, and the teacher sang us songs!"
"Mama~ the teacher even helped me wash my bottom," Sangyu said bashfully, burying her face into her mother’s embrace.
"Let’s practice at home so we don’t need to bother the teacher next time," Yi Luowa said, patting her daughter’s head with a smile.
"Ziyan, Sangyu, are you two going back tomorrow?" Tong Airui glanced at his son and daughter.
Ziyan nodded firmly, "Yes, I promised to bring toys for my classmates."
"You already know how to share. Good boy!" Tong Airui drove the car to the office building and honked the horn.
Yuan Hang was helping Kou’er walk over.
Yuan Hang approached the driver’s side to open the door, but Tong Airui gestured to the passenger side.
Yuan Hang understood immediately, helping Kou’er into the car before taking the passenger seat himself.
