Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 770 - 643: Don’t Anger Me, or I’ll Bite You! (Part 1)_2
Sangyu grinned at Kou’er, who was sitting next to her. "Can you give me a little sister?"
"Hmm, I’ll give you a little sister, and when the time comes, you’ll play with her." Kou’er gently stroked Sangyu’s small face with a smile. "You little rascal, nothing gets past you."
"Lately, it’s been one baby after another in this family. Even if we wanted to keep it a secret, it’s impossible." Yi Luowa shifted inward while laughing, making more space for Kou’er.
"There’s enough room for me to sit. You don’t have to squeeze, dear."
"You’re a national treasure now!" Yi Luowa laughed while looking at Kou’er. "Listen, starting tomorrow, don’t keep running around everywhere."
Kou’er pouted. "Then there’s nothing I can do at home. I’ll go crazy being cooped up."
"Who said you can’t do anything? You can stay home and help me take care of Zi Xi. But there’s one rule—you can’t carry him. I’m afraid you might drop my son."
Kou’er let out a humph. "You’re just like Fourth Master; you can’t say nice things properly. I know you’re worried I’ll overwork myself. Don’t worry. I’ll take extra care of the baby this time."
Tong Airui turned his head to glance at Kou’er, shaking his head with a laugh. "Sangyu, what if Grandpa and Grandma don’t let you all go to school tomorrow? What will you do?"
Sangyu covered her little face, "Waaah... I’ll do thiiiss."
Tong Airui smiled while patting his daughter’s little head. "Yuan Hang, Kou’er, when my dad scolds me later, you two better testify for me—this is not something I taught her."
"Focus on driving properly!" Yi Luowa quickly pushed his hand away. "Your driving skills are already bad, and you dare drive with one hand on the wheel."
"Then you drive tomorrow! Is that good enough for you?"
Yi Luowa smirked lightly. "In Sister Luowa’s eyes, other than Brother Yuan Hang’s driving, no one else’s skills can be trusted."
Yuan Hang chuckled. "That’s not true. Just because I don’t drive often doesn’t mean anything. My skills are much better than you think—not worse than Fifth Master’s."
Kou’er laughed. "If they’re not worse than Fifth Master’s, then you’re still not as good as Luowa."
"Oh, stop flattering." Yi Luowa nudged her with a laugh.
Kou’er chuckled out loud.
They kept chatting and laughing until they arrived home.
When Long Che saw his grandchildren return, he smiled and came out to greet them. But the moment he saw the children’s clothing, his face immediately darkened.
"Tong Airui, are you even their real father?! They’re so young, and you’re sending them to kindergarten!"
Tong Airui scratched his nose and didn’t dare to say anything.
"Zi Yan, Sangyu, we’re not going tomorrow. You’ll stay home and play with Grandma."
"But I want to go~" Sangyu vigorously shook Grandpa’s hand.
Long Che was startled. Looking down at his granddaughter, he asked, "Did your dad tell you to say that?"
Zi Yan and Sangyu quickly shook their heads.
Noticing how scary Grandpa’s dark face looked, Zi Yan timidly said, "I can’t be someone who breaks promises."
Long Che raised an eyebrow and glared at his son. "Look at what you’ve done to the children—so much that they can’t even bear to break a promise. Even if they weren’t told, I know this was your idea!"
"Dad, it’s not what you think," Yi Luowa walked over, gently stroking her son’s little face, and said with a smile, "Tell Grandpa why you can’t break a promise."
"The other kids let me and my sister play with their toys, and I promised to bring toys for them tomorrow."
With a frown, Long Che said, "Have your dad send the toys to them."
Sangyu wrinkled her little nose at Grandpa. "But I want to wear my uniform. If I don’t go, I can’t wear it."
"Grandpa will make more sets for you to wear at home." Long Che patiently tried to talk to his granddaughter.
Sangyu furrowed her tiny brows and said, "I want to go to school. I’m also taking my little brother with me."
"This child..."
Sangyu shook off Grandpa’s hand and marched into the house. "Little brother, big sister will take you to school."
Pengpeng ran over and sized up Sangyu’s outfit. "It looks so nice!"
"If you like it, you can go too. You’ll get one if you go. Little brother..." Sangyu ran over to Grandma, leaned over to look at the baby in her arms, and asked with a grin, "Little brother, is your big sister pretty?"
"Pfft pfft..." Zi Xi blew a big bubble.
Sangyu lightly patted his tiny hand. "How could I forget about this? I’m not taking you. I’ll take Big Brother Pengpeng instead."
Pengpeng chuckled. "Where are we going?"
"To school, of course! Do you want to go? Lots of kids, eating and sleeping together."
Pengpeng nodded eagerly. "I’ll go... Zi Yan, why is your outfit different from Sangyu’s?"
Pengpeng walked over to Zi Yan as he spoke.
Zi Yan smiled and said, "Boys’ and girls’ uniforms are different."
"Hehe... I want to go too." Pengpeng touched Zi Yan’s uniform. When he saw Long Che come in, Pengpeng quickly ran over. "Second Grandpa, I want to go too."
"No, no one is going. A single piece of clothing, and it’s got all of you hooked." Long Che patted Pengpeng’s head. "Second Grandpa will make them for you."
"Brother Pengpeng, if you go, we can sleep in the same bed!" Sangyu led Pengpeng away from Grandpa.
Tong Yao smiled at Long Che. "Let them enjoy this novelty for a bit. They’ll get over it soon enough."
"They can’t even take care of themselves. Going there will just be suffering."
"The teacher will wash my butt." Sangyu looked at Grandpa defiantly. "I can even learn to do it myself."
"Tong Airui!" Long Che couldn’t win against his granddaughter, so he turned to look at his son.
"Yes!" Tong Airui stepped forward.
"Keep an eye on them. If they get sick, see if I don’t tan your hide!" Long Che stormed upstairs, fuming.
Tong Yao glanced at her son. "You! You deserved that scolding—acting on a whim again!"
"Mom, Kou’er and Yuan Hang are here." Yi Luowa smiled as she took Zi Xi from her mother-in-law.
Tong Yao lightly slapped her hand. "Go wash your hands first!"
Yi Luowa stuck out her tongue and sprinted into the washroom.
"Yuan Hang, Kou’er, come in and sit." Tong Yao turned to look at Yuan Hang and Kou’er.
Kou’er followed Yuan Hang in, feeling a bit uneasy.
Tong Yao chuckled as she looked at her. "This is your home; why are you so reserved?"
"It’s different this time. I’m causing you trouble by being here." Kou’er rubbed her hands and smiled.
"Nonsense! What trouble? It’s not like I have to carry you." Tong Yao smiled and turned to Yuan Hang. "You and Kou’er can stay in the big room Luowa used to stay in. The lighting there is good."
"Any room will do. No need for the big one." Yuan Hang smiled as he sat down.
Tong Airui, feeling out of place standing there, turned and went into the washroom.
Yi Luowa glanced at him with a smile. "Let Sangyu and Zi Yan cheer up Mom and Dad later."
"Mom isn’t mad, is she?" Tong Airui walked toward her.
Yi Luowa pouted and showed him the back of her hand, where it was red from being slapped by her mother-in-law.
Tong Airui frowned immediately. "Why did Mom hit you so hard!"
"She’s mad, I guess. She’s just reluctant to part with the kids," Yi Luowa said softly as her husband blew on her hand. "But being angry is no excuse to hit you. Does it hurt?"
"It doesn’t hurt; it’ll be fine in a bit." Yi Luowa pulled her hand back and whispered, "You be careful too. Mom didn’t really hit me hard, but with you, who knows? And Pengpeng—he wants to go too. We have to check with Grandpa, Uncle Qi, Shanshan, and everyone else. Let’s not become the family villains."
"Got it." Tong Airui held her hand again and rubbed it gently. When the redness subsided a bit, he let go.
Yi Luowa dried her hands and stepped out of the washroom.
Tong Yao saw her coming out and asked with a smile, "Does it hurt?"
"No."
"If it doesn’t hurt, let me smack it again so you remember." Tong Yao laughed as Yi Luowa held out her hand. Seeing the lingering redness, Tong Yao held her hand lovingly instead.
"Silly girl, you knew I was losing my temper, yet you didn’t dodge." Tong Yao sighed while blowing gently on her daughter-in-law’s hand.
