Chapter 768: Chapter 642: No Loud Noise in the Cafeteria (Part 1)

Uncle Che quickly got a call from Sheng Duheng, and upon hearing that the two children hadn’t been spanked, he finally felt a bit relieved.

At noon, Yi Luowa came back to feed Zi Xi, and Tong Yao asked with a smile, "Why didn’t Zi Yan and Sang Yu come back with you?"

"They’re watching the team practice shooting. The two of them are obsessed and even yelled about learning from them. They’re not even taller than the rifle yet! It’s really worrying."

"If they get addicted to this, won’t they be clamoring to tag along every day?"

"Yep, they already said they’re going again tomorrow. My second uncle will take them to drive the tank tomorrow."

Tong Yao smiled helplessly, "Your second uncle is quite the indulgent one."

"By the way, Mom, Kou’er is pregnant!" Yi Luowa said with a grin, looking at Tong Yao.

"Really?! That’s such great news! Tell Yuan Hang and Kou’er to move in quickly. This time, we’ve got to ensure everything goes smoothly!"

"I did say that, but Kou’er’s still hesitating. I’ll have Tong Airui talk to Brother Yuan Hang about it tonight."

"How far along?" Tong Yao tenderly stroked Zi Xi’s head.

Zi Xi grabbed her grandmother’s hand tightly.

Tong Yao chuckled, "Eat your food, sweetheart. Your mom has to leave again soon."

"Seven weeks. She doesn’t even know herself. I noticed she didn’t look well and took her to Lao Dao for a checkup. Turns out she’s pregnant. Brother Yuan Hang was so emotional when he found out that he cried over it."

"Yuan Hang’s been around for so long and only now is going to be a dad. Of course he’d be overjoyed."

"It’s all been delayed by Tong Airui and me." Yi Luowa sighed.

"When you get back, tell Rui’er he absolutely has to bring Kou’er over to stay. Joyina’s situation is settled already—she’s heading back to Beidi the day after tomorrow, and Youyou’s leaving the same day. There’s really no one left here at home."

"They’re leaving so soon?"

"Joyina’s in a hurry to film her movie. She says the earlier she goes, the earlier she’ll be back. Youyou told me Xuanxuan called her last night, crying again. She won’t stay in S Country for much longer—she’s planning to go to F Country to visit Xuanxuan."

Yi Luowa asked worriedly, "She’s going by herself?"

"Your aunt and your mom, Ni Lu, are going with her. Your mom, Ni Lu, will stay there to accompany Youyou while your aunt comes back to bring Yu Lin."

Yi Luowa sighed, "These kids are wearing you and Aunt out, especially the three in our family... Mom, why don’t we send Zi Yan and Sang Yu to kindergarten? They’re both two years old now..."

Tong Yao cut her off, "You’d be fine with it, but I wouldn’t bear to! Tired of what? There are so many nannies at home—if we’re actually exhausted, they’ll take care of them anytime."

Yi Luowa pouted, "I’m just worried about you!"

Tong Yao glared at her, "You don’t need to worry about me. Just focus on doting on my three little treasures."

Yi Luowa giggled, "Mom, don’t just talk about three. You’ve got to include four! Even if Connie and Aino don’t say much, you and Dad shouldn’t completely focus only on the three in our household."

Tong Yao smiled, "I know. I’m absolutely not biased. Last night, I even asked Aino to leave Zi Heng to sleep here with me. He refused himself, so you can’t blame me for that."

"Old Five cares about you and Dad. It’s me and Tong Airui who are shameless, always pushing all three kids onto you." Yi Luowa looked guiltily at her mother-in-law.

Tong Yao smiled tenderly, "Don’t overthink it. Quick, feed Zi Xi some milk. He’ll be ready to nap soon."

After coaxing Zi Xi to sleep, Yi Luowa hurried back to Shenyang Kindergarten, worried about the two little troublemakers not eating well without supervision.

When Yi Luowa returned, she found out the two little ones had already gone to the cafeteria with Tong Airui.

Yi Luowa rushed over to find them enjoying their meal with a few of the team members.

"Zi Yan..."

"Shh—" Zi Yan made a silencing gesture and whispered, "Yi Can, no loud talking in the cafeteria."

Haha... The nearby team members burst out laughing.

Their laughter drew the attention of everyone in the cafeteria.

Yi Luowa pursed her lips and quietly asked, "Where’s Dad?"

"Captain Airui is getting us soup!" Sang Yu grinned, pointing behind her.

"Don’t move." A voice behind her interrupted—Tong Airui arrived, carrying two bowls of soup.

Yi Luowa turned to look and instinctively reached out, but Tong Airui quickly said, "I’ll do it, don’t burn your hands."

"Why do you let them eat with the team members? Won’t they disturb everyone?"

Tong Airui set down the soup bowls and smiled, "I’m cultivating their sense of collective responsibility. If they dare to disrupt their uncles during meals, they won’t be allowed to come next time."

Zi Yan and Sang Yu immediately zipped their lips shut.

"Have you eaten?" Tong Airui tilted his head to look at his wife.

"Not yet. I’ve been worried about them."

"Don’t worry about them. Sit down, and I’ll go grab you a meal."

"Captain, I’m done eating. I’ll go get it." Tong Airui’s guard stood up swiftly, and before Tong Airui could respond, he dashed to the serving window.

Yi Luowa sat beside her daughter, "You two keep eating. The soup is still hot, wait a bit before drinking."

The two little ones obediently nodded.

Tong Airui chuckled and sat beside his son.

The four members of the family immediately became the center of attention in the cafeteria.

Colin and Sheng Duheng entered the cafeteria and saw everyone looking in one direction. They laughed and walked over.

Sang Yu gleefully pointed to the empty seats across from her, "General, please sit!"

"What good kids. No wonder your grandfather spoils you both so much." Colin and Sheng Duheng smiled and took their seats.

After lunch, Yi Luowa and Tong Airui took the two little ones back to the office.

Yi Luowa coaxed them into taking a nap while Tong Airui asked quietly, "Have you talked to Mom about the kindergarten?"

"I did, but she doesn’t agree."

Sang Yu squinted her eyes and sleepily asked, "Why doesn’t Grandma agree to what?"

Tong Airui smiled and patted his daughter’s little head, "Daddy wants to take you to a place with lots and lots of other kids to nap. Would you like that?"

"How many kids?" Sang Yu suddenly perked up.

Zi Yan also turned his head toward his father.

"You’ll find out when you get there." Tong Airui smiled, pulled the two little ones up, and said, "Ask Mommy to dress you while Daddy makes a phone call. I’ll be back soon."

Yi Luowa paused, immediately realizing what Tong Airui meant.

Ten minutes later, the family of four walked out the door. Tong Airui personally drove them to the nearby housing complex.

Tong Airui pointed to a standalone building ahead and smiled, "That’s Shenyang Kindergarten. This way, you two can come to the compound every day with Mom and Dad and go home together. There are many kids there who wear little uniforms. You’ll love it."

Sang Yu clung to the back of the seat and smiled at her father, "Just like what you and Mom wear?"

"Pretty close. I’ve already had the headmaster prepare everything. You two will change into uniforms soon."

"Yay!" Sang Yu clapped her hands excitedly.

When the car reached the kindergarten gate, the headmaster and teachers, along with a group of children from the kids’ class, were already waiting.

Sang Yu and Zi Yan saw the children dressed in pristine white navy outfits and excitedly jumped out of the car.

Tong Airui glanced at his wife and quietly said, "If we can’t handle bigger tasks, we’ll focus on smaller ones. As long as they like this place, Mom and Dad will have to go along with them."

Yi Luowa nodded with a smile, "I think they’re definitely going to love it here."

While the two of them were talking, Zi Yan and Sang Yu had already run into the group of children.

The two little ones excitedly looked around at everyone, "Hello, I’m Sang Yu, and this is my brother Zi Yan."

Sang Yu cheerfully introduced herself to the kids.

"Hi, I’m Dudu."

"I’m Xiao Yan."

The kids started introducing themselves.

After greeting the headmaster, Tong Airui called the two kids back with a laugh, "Did you say hello to the headmaster and teachers?"

"Forgot!" Zi Yan felt a bit embarrassed, scratched his head, pulled his sister along, and bowed deeply to the headmaster and teachers.

"Hello!"

"After all these years of working with kids, this is the first time we’ve seen such polite and adorable children." The headmaster helped the two little ones up with a smile.

"Headmaster Auntie, my younger brother is even cuter than us." Sang Yu grinned, "I’ll bring him here tomorrow."

The headmaster smiled and nodded, "Sounds great, bring him along."

"Headmaster Auntie, can we wear new clothes?" Sang Yu asked impatiently, looking eagerly at the headmaster.

"Let Teacher Wu take you to change outfits, okay?" The headmaster said warmly, "After you’re dressed, take a nap with the other children. In the afternoon, we’ll go play on the slide."

Sang Yu and Zi Yan nodded hard, then followed the teacher and kids into the main hall.

Yi Luowa blinked, "These two little traitors didn’t even look back—just like that, they abandoned us."

"That’s even better. No crying, no fussing. It’s peace of mind for us too." Tong Airui wrapped his arm around her waist and said with a smile to the headmaster, "If they cause you too much trouble, just give me a call."

"Got it, Captain Airui," the headmaster replied with a smile.

Yi Luowa reluctantly followed Tong Airui back into the car.
