Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 660 - 561 Not Fun at All! (Four updates)
Tong Airui looked at the person sitting in the leather chair and laughed, "You think I’m not chaotic enough, and now you’re joining in?"
"It’s not fun at all!" Yi Luowa pouted and stood up, "I’m not here to cause trouble, I’m delivering a message for Leon."
Tong Airui lightly curled his lips, "What message can’t he deliver himself and needs you to pass it on?"
"Wasn’t King Muta present just now? He couldn’t say it." Yi Luowa pulled out a file folder and handed it to him, "There’s an address here; Constar’s mother, wife, and daughter live at this place. It’s very secret, and Leon worked hard to find it. He didn’t dare to say it out loud, fearing King Muta might reconnect with them, which would make Aunt Royce even more upset."
"And then?" Tong Airui opened the file folder, and a sealed plastic bag containing a toothbrush fell out.
"He wants you to help him collect something from Constar’s daughter to do a DNA test," Yi Luowa reached into the bag and pulled out another plastic bag containing cigarette butts, "Leon has been investigating Constar longer than you have. He’s always suspected this person isn’t King Muta’s son. These are the cigarette butts he’s collected from Constar, and this toothbrush was used by King Muta."
"Wouldn’t it be easier to just do a DNA test between King Muta and Constar? Why involve the girl?"
Yi Luowa continued to take things out, "Leon has done that. This is the test result for King Muta and Constar; they have no blood relation. However, he feared King Muta wouldn’t believe it, so he needed more evidence. If this girl is proven to be Constar’s daughter and isn’t related to King Muta, then King Muta would have to believe it."
"No blood relation and yet he deceived King Muta for years—impressive!" Tong Airui frowned, looking at the items on the table, "How did he fool King Muta? Could he have used something from Leon or Bert... Leon couldn’t have access to it, but Bert might. If I recall the timing right, when King Muta acknowledged this son, Bert was with Lan Ji, right?"
"Lan Ji was Kai Di’s person, so could this Constar be Kai Di’s person as well?"
"Quite possibly, but Kai Di is already dead. Could she still be causing trouble now?"
"Didn’t you and Dad suspect it was done by someone from R country?"
Tong Airui glanced at her, "Learning from Mom’s eavesdropping skills?"
"Don’t accuse me. I didn’t eavesdrop; I was standing guard outside for you." Yi Luowa put the things back one by one, leaving only an address on the table. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Tong Airui looked at the address and called Youyou. As soon as Youyou heard there was a task, she laughed.
Youyou quickly reached the hideout of Constar’s wife and daughter and soon obtained a strand of the girl’s hair.
Tong Airui immediately sent it for DNA testing overnight. Eight hours later, the results were back. Tong Airui looked at the results and called Leon.
"Leon, the results are in!"
"What results?" Leon immediately gripped the phone tightly.
"I did an additional DNA test. The mom is Constar’s mom, and the daughter is Constar’s daughter, but only Constar and her daughter have no blood relation with Uncle Muta."
"That’s great!" Leon pushed open the door and headed out, "I’m going to share this with my mom."
"I’m heading to the palace right away to bring all these reports with me."
"Okay, I’ll be waiting for you... Airui, did you notice that the way Constar and Nancy were misidentified is quite similar? Could there be something fishy about it?"
"Old Eight and Youyou have already set out, let’s hope they find something."
"Airui, we can’t rush this. Investigate slowly, and we’ll surely find some clues. It took me nearly two years to find where Constar’s family was residing. We have to believe one principle: no matter how secretly the enemy acts, as long as they have acted, there will be traces."
Tong Airui chuckled, "Yeah, I’m in no hurry. This matter will unravel eventually."
Tong Airui drove himself and soon arrived at the palace. To save face for Muta, he privately handed the test results to King Muta.
The more Muta read, the more his brows furrowed, "Unbelievable! I’ve been played for a fool for all these years!"
Tong Airui sighed softly, "Uncle Muta, calm down. You’re not the only one who got fooled; my parents-in-law and I have all been toyed with."
"Ah..." Muta gradually calmed down, "Where is their family now? Arrest them and interrogate; maybe we’ll find out more."
"I’ll have them arrested right away." Tong Airui took out his phone.
After Tong Airui finished the arrangements, Muta said sternly, "Take these findings to your aunt and let her breathe easy, also to clear this false accusation from me."
Tong Airui lightly curled his lips, "You know why I don’t drink anymore!"
Muta glared at him, "You haven’t encountered my troublesome matters."
Tong Airui laughed and said, "Don’t glare at me, go see my aunt. She already knows about this, and we have Leon to thank. It was his persistence that led to today’s results."
Muta raised an eyebrow slightly, "Leon has indeed surprised me."
Tong Airui laughed, "Like father, like son. Both Leon and Bert are outstanding. Uncle Muta, I need to go back. Once the people are arrested, I’ll inform you."
"Don’t notify me when they’re arrested; inform Leon instead. Let him handle it. I don’t want to see that woman!" Muta stood up, clutching the test reports in his hand, as his wife had come back but ignored him all night, and he needed to placate her.
Tong Airui responded, followed Muta out of the door, and as the two of them stepped out, Leon approached quickly, "Airui, thank you for your hard work; you must not have slept last night, right?"
"I’m used to it." Tong Airui chuckled, "At least it wasn’t in vain."
Muta gave them a glance, snorted, and went to the sleeping quarters.
Tong Airui and Leon exchanged a knowing smile as he walked away.
"Uncle Muta said, once the people are arrested, let you interrogate them. Where should I send them?"
"Send them to your place."
"Alright, but let’s be clear, I’ve got a whole pile of matters to handle. You’ll need to take care of this yourself; just give me the results later."
"Alright—I thought you wouldn’t even want to hear the results."
"I doubt there’s anything useful." Tong Airui pinched his brow, "I’ll be off then, listen for my call."
Tong Airui bid farewell to Leon and went straight home.
He intended to go inside and take his wife to work, but unexpectedly, the two little ones were clinging to their mother and refused to let go.
"What’s going on?" Tong Airui reached out to try and hold his daughter, but Sangyu pouted and kept shaking her head.
"Zi Yan, let Daddy hold you." Tong Airui extended his hand toward his son.
Zi Yan lifted his chubby foot and gently kicked Daddy’s hand away from him.
"Dare to kick me!" Tong Airui pretended to be angry, "Watch me spank your little butt!"
"Hehe..." Zi Yan held his sister’s hand, and the two laughed.
"What’s up with them?" Tong Airui puzzledly looked at his wife.
"I don’t know either. As soon as I came downstairs, both of them wouldn’t let go of me. Dad tried to hold them both and couldn’t do it."
Connie glared at Tong Aino, who was laughing silly, then said, "Blame Tong Aino! He teased them, saying if my sister-in-law left the house, she wouldn’t come back for them, and they understood and wouldn’t let go of her."
"My silly son and daughter can understand their silly uncle now!" Tong Airui laughed and patted the little ones on their heads, "Alright, you’re both coming to work with Mommy and Daddy today. Daddy’s office is big enough for you to play."
Yi Luowa looked up at him, "Is it okay to bring them to work? Won’t it look bad if someone sees?"
"Whoever dares to say it’s not okay, I’ll have them dealt with!" Tong Airui huffed, reaching over to firmly pick up his daughter.
Sangyu immediately pouted.
Yi Luowa quickly held Zi Yan and stood up, "Mommy’s here, don’t cry."
Sangyu reached out her little hands and grabbed hold of Mommy’s shoulder badge.
"Are you really taking them?" Yi Luowa asked helplessly.
"Really going!" Tong Airui called for two nannies, packed up briefly, and was ready to go out.
Long Che heard that his grandchildren were going to the Divine Eagle unit and rushed out, "It’s cold outside; don’t let them catch a cold!"
"We’re taking the RV." Tong Airui signaled to his wife, and the two of them went out the door with the kids.
When Long Che caught up, the family of four, along with the two nannies, had already boarded the RV.
Tong Yao stood at the door, watching the somewhat disappointed Long Che and said with a smile, "I told you, children can’t be apart from their mother. If you really take them to S country, they’ll drive you crazy!"
