Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 275 - 259: Your Brother Calls You to Get Up (Part 3 of the Night)_2
Yi Luowa froze for a moment, "You’re planning to send wedding dresses to the shop? But in Country S, that’s You Jia’s territory. Ai Ni’s wedding shop hasn’t managed to break into it yet?"
Tong Airui stood up, walked to the coffee table, picked up a few gift boxes, and walked back. "Ai Ni and Sis did want to expand into Country S, but Dad and Grandpa didn’t agree, so they had to put it aside."
Tong Airui put everything from the coffee table into the safe, locked it, then handed the key to Yi Luowa. "The password is your birthday. You keep the key."
"I’m not keeping the key! What if I lose it!" Yi Luowa refused to take it. "Besides, it’s all family stuff. I think it doesn’t matter whether it’s locked or not."
"Don’t we have servants? There’s so much stuff here, and neither of us even knows the count. Let’s lock it temporarily for a few days." Tong Airui saw that she didn’t take the key and went ahead to place it in a box on the top shelf of the cabinet.
Yi Luowa tiptoed and glanced up, then pouted unhappily. "I get it—you’re totally bullying me because I’m short!"
Tong Airui laughed and pinched her cheek lightly. "Then you should try growing taller!"
Yi Luowa glared at him. "Do you think I can grow taller just because I want to? Not bothering with you anymore—I’m going to freshen up and check in with Uncle."
"I’ll go with you."
After freshening up, the two changed into new clothes and stepped out. Tong Airui walked out the door, then turned back.
"What are you doing?" Yi Luowa asked as she waited outside.
"Forgot my phone," Tong Airui said, picking up his phone and glancing at it. He smiled, "I knew he’d retaliate against me. Good thing I set it to silent mode."
"Tong Aino?" Yi Luowa commented, glancing at Tong Aino’s door.
"Yep, he’s been calling me every hour. Just wait—I’ll deal with him later."
Yi Luowa gestured toward Tong Aino’s door, raising her eyebrows slightly.
Tong Airui caught her meaning, quickly walked over, and the two started knocking on Tong Aino’s door.
Yi Luowa laughed and shouted into the room, "Aino, your brother says it’s time to get up and pee!"
Tong Airui laughed, quickly covering her mouth and pulling her toward the stairs.
They had barely made it halfway downstairs when Tong Aino opened his door, standing in the hallway yelling, "You two think you’re tough? Stop running!"
"Haha..." Yi Luowa turned to glance at him. Seeing his worn-out face, she quickly stopped laughing. "Aino, you didn’t sleep all night?"
Tong Aino sighed and staggered down the hallway like a ghost.
Tong Airui took one look at his lifeless expression and twitched the corner of his mouth. "Can you pull yourself together a little?"
Tong Aino bumped into him, wobbling as he continued downstairs. "When the day comes that Sister-in-Law leaves you, let’s see you try pulling yourself together."
Tong Airui glared at him, ready to chastise him, when Connie opened her door and came out. "Fourth Brother, Fourth Sister-in-Law, morning."
Yi Luowa turned to look at her and thought, Wow, these two are exactly alike. Clearly, she hadn’t slept all night either!
"Good morning, Connie. By the way, just call me Luowa from now on. Sometimes it throws me when you call me Sister-in-Law."
Connie smiled and walked down. "You’ll have to adjust quickly!"
Tong Aino stopped mid-step, hesitated for a moment, then quickly turned back, thinking it best not to let her see him in his current state—she might end up disliking him even more.
"Didn’t sleep well last night?" Yi Luowa held Connie’s hand and asked with concern.
"Stayed up late chatting with my aunt," Connie said, her lips curling lightly. "Sister-in-Law, after breakfast I’ll join my aunt and uncle and head back. See you next weekend in Country S."
"Why the rush?" Tong Airui frowned slightly.
"My uncle has an urgent matter waiting for him back home."
Tong Aino’s shoulders stiffened instantly as he moved step by step toward the living room.
Tong Airui watched his awkward retreating back and shook his head helplessly. "Aino, about those weapons I asked you to modify—did you handle them yet?"
Tong Aino froze, quickly catching on to his brother’s intention. This was his way of giving him an excuse to leave and head to Lamman.
"Without me there, they won’t be able to make the changes," Tong Aino replied.
Tong Airui replied seriously, "I need them urgently—get them done quickly."
Yi Luowa chimed in from beside him, "Aino, isn’t Uncle heading back soon? Why don’t you go along with him?"
Connie held Yi Luowa’s hand, slightly tightening her grip.
Yi Luowa gave her hand a reassuring pat. "This matter really is urgent! Yesterday, your brother received several calls about it."
Connie quietly lowered her gaze and stayed silent.
Standing with his back to them, Tong Aino curled the corners of his lips slightly. "Brother, Sister-in-Law, I promise I won’t call you two in the middle of critical moments anymore."
Yi Luowa’s mouth twitched as she almost took off a shoe to throw at him. But then she noticed Great-Grandpa coming out of his bedroom, so she quickly stood up straight. "Morning, Grandpa!"
