Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 274 - 259: Your Brother Calls You to Get Up (Third Update)
Tong Aino was so restless that he couldn’t sleep. He got out of bed, opened the wardrobe, and took out a suitcase, randomly grabbing a few clothes and putting them inside.
Actually, he just wanted to accompany Connie and ask his brother for some encouragement.
While he was packing his clothes, the two next door were having an argument.
"I told you to stop saying everything!" Yi Luowa angrily kicked Tong Airui under the covers.
Tong Airui quickly dodged to the side of the bed when she tried to kick him a second time.
Yi Luowa grabbed his ear and pulled him back, "You’ve got some nerve, dodging from me. Let me kick you one more time."
Tong Airui pinched her cheek, "Who volunteers to get beaten up?"
Yi Luowa grabbed his hand and bit it, fiercely saying, "I find you getting more shameless! Don’t talk about our private matters with outsiders anymore, got it?"
"Aino isn’t an outsider." Tong Airui laughed as he pulled her into his embrace, "Wife, sleep now. Tomorrow we have to go back to the estate with Second Uncle."
"Brother..."
"Call me husband! Weren’t you calling it perfectly well just now!"
Yi Luowa gave him a coquettish glare. No one was more troublesome than him. Just when she started feeling good, he suddenly stopped and said he wouldn’t continue unless she called him husband, which she did over ten times for that moment of pleasure.
"What do you want to say?" Tong Airui waited, and when she didn’t make a sound, he patted her arm and asked.
"Nothing to say, let’s sleep." Yi Luowa turned her back to him.
Tong Airui put his phone on silent, wrapped his arms around her, bit her earlobe gently, and said, "Good night."
"Good night." In the darkness, Yi Luowa blinked her big black eyes and smiled. Today felt like a dream! Suddenly, she got a bit nervous, worried that she would wake up the next morning and it would all just be a dream.
The next morning, the first thing Yi Luowa did upon waking was to check the marriage certificate under the pillow. Seeing the two little red booklets still there reassured her, and she laid back down in peace.
Tong Airui watched her actions and laughed, "Afraid you’ll lose them?"
Yi Luowa nodded honestly.
Tong Airui chuckled, "Want me to get you a safe?"
"Yes." Yi Luowa pointed to the things on the coffee table, "With so much stuff, there should be a proper place for it, right?"
"There’s a safe on top of the right wardrobe. Didn’t you know?"
"That wardrobe is all winter clothes, so I didn’t look." Yi Luowa sat up, lazily putting on her clothes.
"Why are you up so early? You’ve only slept for four hours at most. Come here, let husband hold you and sleep a little longer."
Yi Luowa slapped his hand away, "I’ll pack up these things first. Ugh... I’m worried sick. With so much stuff and money, how long will it take us to use it all?"
"This is just a small part; you’re already worried about this?" Tong Airui laughed and sat up.
Yi Luowa nodded with a distressed look, "Having so much money really isn’t a good thing."
"Isn’t that easy to solve? When the others get married, give it to them."
Yi Luowa thought Tong Airui made sense, slipped on her slippers, and got out of bed, "Brother..."
"Call me husband." Tong Airui corrected her discontentedly.
"Hubby—" Yi Luowa dragged out the word teasingly.
Tong Airui laughed and responded, "What do you want to say?"
"For Ai Ni’s engagement, what should we give? Have you thought about it?"
"Ai Ni is different from us. We combined our engagement and registration, so everyone gave us really heavy gifts. Ai Ni is just getting engaged, so we don’t need to give anything too expensive." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"But we can’t embarrass Ai Ni either." Yi Luowa stood in front of the coffee table, considering which of the items would be suitable as a gift.
Tong Airui opened the cabinet, unlocked the safe, and asked with a smile, "There’s less than a week until Ai Ni’s engagement. Why are you only thinking about this now?"
Yi Luowa saw he had opened the safe, picked up two boxes, and walked over, "Before yesterday, we weren’t one family; we each had to give separately. But now we’re one family."
Tong Airui took the boxes and put them inside, "What gift did you initially prepare for Ai Ni?"
"A family van I designed myself, but seeing what everyone gave us yesterday, I feel like mine isn’t good enough."
"I think it’s great, especially since you designed it yourself. How about this, we’ll give both the van and bridal store as a gift together."
