Chapter 141: IKERTH!!!!! I

As a Noble Vampire, the most the sun could do to Henrik was weaken him severely, but it was not enough to kill him.

Henrik’s eyes widened in shock and awe as he gazed out listlessly.

His transformation was not what caused his shock, but the familiar notification that he had not seen in over 5000 years.

[Level Up]

What followed were a series of notifications that he had longed to see for millennia. Some parts were a bit strange, but he did not care for it.

Transformation Complete

You have reached Level 900.

You have not proven your qualifications to surpass mortality.

Interference Detected.

...

You have achieved Transcendence.

Recalibrating Status

Right before everyone’s eyes, a surge of dark magic power blasted forth from Henrik’s body, surprising the man who looked around in confusion.

This made Jamie burst into laughter as he found it funny how the man was so confused about where this power came from when his very life was the answer.

Henrik had spent 5000 years trying to achieve Transcendence. All the existences he had killed over that time had given him EXP which had been accumulating silently.

Now that he had finally surpassed the Level 900 barrier, all of that EXP came gushing in at once.

Bone crunching sounds rang out as Henrik’s body was reconstructed once more, this time, powerful enough to match his stats.

This lasted a few minutes before the magic storm settled and a single notification appeared in Henrik’s field of view.

You are now Level 999

"..."

The man was dumbfounded.

He blinked and cleaned his eyes with his dusty hands just to make sure he was seeing right.

Unfortunately, the chance for him to truly confirm this would be pushed to later as they now had some uninvited guests.

Henrik’s new Transcendent senses allowed him to notice it at the same time as everyone else did. Oppressive magic power bore down on all of them, but they remained undaunted by the pressure.

Dornik and the other Liberation Front Transcendents did not have the time to care for Henrik’s newfound power as they geared up for a fight.

As for Jamie and Miranda, they silently glanced at the giant Red dragon exuding the aura of a Superior Stage Transcendent who landed right in front of them, his maw containing a fully charged breath attack.

With a mighty roar that echoed across the skies, the dragon unleashed its full-powered breath attack, a torrent of searing flames that surged forth like a raging inferno.

The intense heat radiated outward, threatening to engulf everything in its path. Yet, as the flames bore down upon Jamie, he remained unfazed.

"Void."

With a simple gesture, he drew upon his Unique Skill’s power, conjuring a shimmering portal of azure energy that materialized before him. In an instant, the portal sprang into action, swallowing the dragon’s flames whole, devouring them with an insatiable hunger as they vanished into the depths of oblivion.

Silence pervaded the area, the newly appearing dragons looking up at Jamie with shocked expressions as they did not expect that Tasir’s attack would be thwarted so easily.

As for Tasir, he came to a conclusion after seeing how easily Jamie had dealt with his breath.

’He has finally stopped limiting his power!’

At first, he had been fooled into thinking that this ’Jamie’ he was seeing was nothing but an avatar, but after reviewing his memories of Bliteon, he discovered that it was, in fact, the Hybrid’s real body.

This made him conclude that Jamie’s Sovereign Existence Realm was only just him limiting his power for the fun of it.

It would not be the first time Jamie has done this before.

Now, seeing Jamie able to divert his breath without breaking a sweat, he was sure that Jamie had stopped limiting his power.

Very quickly, he leapt backwards to gain some distance, sending a fleeting glance at Henrik who was still on the floor.

The dragons Transcendents and Sovereigns who came with him landed on the floor behind him, while some hovered in the skies.

Dornik and his First-Class Commanders roused their energies in preparation for battle, with the rest of the First- and Second-Class combatants scattered across Ladoa converging on the area to support them.

Tasir wanted to give the order to attack, but he held himself back as Jamie and Miranda’s actions were strange.

They did not seem to care about the thousands of dragons surrounding them, nor did they care about their allies who were gearing up behind them.

Both of them had their eyes pointed to the sky, and Miranda heaved a light sigh.

"!!!"

The souls of all the mortals present were simultaneously gripped by fear. Their bodies turned stiff and they were unable to move, as if they were trapped inside thick muddy water.

It felt as if ’something’ so unimaginably ’large’ loomed over them, dwarfing them like insignificant ants.

The Higher Existences, each reacting differently, felt the weight of a powerful Authority descending upon them.

The tense expressions on the faces of the Sovereign Dragons disappeared, Dornik Frowned, Tasir smirked and Miranda’s brow twitched.

As for Jamie; the man had a wide grin on his face.

**DOOONNN!!!

A deafening boom resounded outward like something moving at an incomprehensible speed had collided with a barrier of some sort.

***DOOOOONNNNN!!!!!!

The second time the sound rang out, a portion of the sky broke open and ’something’ burst into the planet’s atmosphere.

The aura it exuded was so potent that it caused the skies for thousands of miles to turn into a crimson-red colour.

It streaked down towards the ground, right at the spot in the middle of the two forces about to clash—right at where Jamie stood.

The Hybrid tossed his suit blazer off and rolled up his sleeves, right before a loud True Voice filled with pure unadulterated rage boomed across the entire planet.

WESTLEY!!!!!!!

In response, Jamie burst into laughter as he reciprocated the action with his own True Voice, calling out the name of the entity who just entered into Zotov.

IKERTH!!!!!

In a blaze of crimson light, the entity hurtled towards Jamie, who met it head-on with a powerful punch.

***KAAABOOOOOMMM!!!!

The ensuing explosion of power enveloped the area in a blinding flash of light, followed by a shockwave that rippled through the atmosphere with destructive force.

The ground shook violently as a mushroom cloud billowed upwards, casting a shadow over the battlefield. Heat scorched the earth, leaving nothing but devastation in its wake, while the echoes of the explosion reverberated across the land.

Suddenly, the smoke and flames cleared up in an instant, revealing the scene of the collision for all to see.

Jamie’s right arm was wounded, blood splattering on the floor and dark red flames engulfing his arm. However, all the man did was shake his arm a bit and his wounds vanished as if they never even existed in the first place.

Right after that, his aura surged and his azure-coloured spatial power converged around his fist, ready for another strike.

Standing opposite him, was a man over six feet tall, with a muscular build and deep reddish-brown skin with scales over his arms.

The scales on his left arm had shattered and blood dripped from the wound, but he paid this no mind as he engulfed them in fiery crimson flames, the same shade as his hair and eyes.

His pupils darted towards the ground his feet stood on, momentarily wondering how the planet’s crust still existed beneath him after that explosion.

But a single glance at the purple silver-haired woman infusing magic power into the ground through her foot answered that question.

His attention turned back to the Hybrid who had already thrown his fist forward and increased the intensity of the flame law energy surrounding his arm as he responded in kind.

Following the collision, another titanic impact ensued, unleashing an explosion of cataclysmic proportions akin to a nuclear blast.

The fabric of space around them was filled with cracks and everyone on Zotov heard the cry of pain let out by the planet itself as their actions had wounded it.

Like before, Miranda waved her hand and cleared out all the dust and smoke, swirling it up towards the skies so she could properly see the confrontation happening in front of her.

The two men’s arms were damaged like she had expected, and once again, Jamie only shook off the flames on his arm and his wounds healed in an instant.

However, this action made Miranda narrow her eyes in suspicion, before turning her gaze to the man dressed in regal robes whom Jamie had clashed with.

The main culprit behind the current war on planet Zotov.

Red Dragon King Ikerth Xagem.
