Became a Demon with Pregnancy System-Chapter 156: Tanya Reed is Pregnant
Tears of hatred burned in his eyes.
"This so-called guardian path—I’m done with it! I want power! I want money!"
Luke’s eyes darkened. "So, you’ve chosen to betray the Totem Guardians."
Daniel let out a cold laugh. "Hmph! What do two newly-advanced high-tier mages like you think you can do against me?!"
As his constellations aligned, the Frozen Coffin Spell began to take shape.
Three massive ice coffins hovered in a triangle above them.
Then, they descended—straight toward Luke and Tanya.
"Luke, run!" Tanya cried.
But Luke only smirked.
"Where do you think you’re going? We haven’t even started yet."
"Whew!!"
The two wolf howls fused into one, transforming into a ferocious, mighty roar.
A powerful sound wave followed, sweeping across the area. Neither Luke nor Tanya Reed had any power related to sound magic, yet the force of the roar sent tremors through the island.
Ever since the Sun and Moon Twin Wolves were born, they had been gradually comprehending new abilities. Now, they had unexpectedly mastered a sonic attack technique.
The two celestial wolf cubs unleashed all their strength, their sound waves tearing through the trees and grass in the surroundings, sending debris flying in all directions.
And that pathetic former Totem Guardian—
Darren Hawk was sent airborne, his clothes in tatters, his body covered in deep wounds, transforming him into a bloodied mess.
"If you want to save him, go ahead," Luke said, glancing at Tanya’s conflicted expression.
"No... Let him go. This was his choice," Tanya replied, shaking her head.
Both she and Darren had been Totem Guardians for over ten years, but time changes people.
Not everyone was meant to bear the responsibility of guarding a Totem.
Without hesitation, Luke summoned a golden flame, incinerating Darren’s corpse into nothing but ashes.
Neither Avalon Lake nor any part of this land deserved to be defiled by such filth.
"Whew~~~!"
The Sun and Moon Twin Wolves wagged their tails and rushed to Luke’s side, their heads held high as they howled proudly.
They were clearly seeking praise for their efforts.
"Dad, look! We don’t have d***s!"
Luke raised an eyebrow, reading the lip movements of the two wolf cubs.
Without hesitation, Luke knocked his fist against their heads.
"Why did you use so much force?! Didn’t you see all the flowers and trees you destroyed on the island?!" Luke scolded. "You have two days to replant everything—or no food for you!"
His tone was firm.
Originally, Nate Dawson’s unexpected appearance had already interrupted his and Tanya’s plans for the night.
And now, with Tanya’s mood affected, Luke wasn’t in the mood either.
"Woo~Woo~~!"
The two little wolves covered their heads, their ears drooping as they whimpered pitifully.
"And you," Luke turned to the Silver Wolf, who had just arrived late to the scene, "as the big brother, you should have controlled them. You three will be planting flowers together starting tomorrow."
"Huh?!"
The Silver Wolf stood upright in shock, looking at Luke with a face full of betrayal.
"What are you acting surprised for?" Luke waved his hand dismissively. "My decision is final."
Luke watched the three wolf cubs sulking as they left, rubbing his chin in thought.
"Luke, what are you thinking?" Tanya asked curiously.
"The three of them are still just infants," Luke said. "If they want to become real leaders, they’ll need to jump over their juvenile phase and reach Commander-level as soon as possible."
"But considering a demon’s lifespan, that could take decades—which is too long," he added.
"Decades?!" Tanya exclaimed. "By then, I’ll be old!"
"And if they want to reach Monarch-level, I won’t even live to see it..." she murmured.
To become a Totem, a creature had to at least be Monarch-level.
Tanya had always dreamed of witnessing a pack of Totems, but if this was the timeline, it would be impossible.
"That’s why I need to find them higher-ranked demon bodies to speed up their evolution," Luke said.
"General-level demons are too weak. They are my children—they cannot be weak."
Luke’s eyes darkened as he spoke.
He was going to build an empire.
And his children would be at its core.
General-level warriors? Pathetic.
Even Commanders were just squad leaders at best.
"Alright, then I’ll go to the demon market tomorrow and buy some resources," Tanya offered.
"That’s unnecessary," Luke shook his head. "That would take too long—and high-level Commander materials are too expensive."
"Then what are you planning?" Tanya asked, puzzled.
A sly smile crept across Luke’s face.
If one wanted power quickly, the fastest way was plunder.
What the Spirit Wind Monkeys had done before, Luke could do even better.
Of course, out of respect for the Female Wolf King, Luke wouldn’t compete with her for territory.
But outside of her domain?
Everywhere else was fair game.
"Way, I’ll tell you later," Luke said with a smirk.
That night, as Luke pulled his shirt over his shoulders, Tanya casually hummed.
"I might not be free tomorrow. Marissa Jones and Rachel White are coming to Arcadia—don’t you know?"
"What?" Luke paused.
"What are they coming for?" he asked.
"To see you, of course," Tanya smirked. "It’s been two months. They miss you."
Luke’s hand froze.
Then, after a moment of silence—
With a smirk, he threw his coat aside.
Tanya raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing?"
"Emotions can be cultivated slowly," Luke said. "But if you miss the moment, you really miss it."
He pounced toward Tanya.
Behind her, the Instant Gate flashed—
In the next moment, the two of them appeared atop Leifeng Tower.
Beneath them, the moon hung high.
The sun would rise soon.
The night unfolded, uninterrupted this time.
And as the first morning light touched their skin—
Ding!
[Congratulations, host! Tanya Reed is pregnant with a new life.]
[Reward: All magic attributes doubled.]
Luke’s eyes widened.
"I’m pregnant?!" Tanya gasped.
A tear appeared at the corner of Luke’s eye.
Finally—a second child!
