What fell was not merely a bolt of lightning but a literal spear made of second order extinguishing tribulation lightning.

Ved rose and met it with his fist, lightning exploded everywhere and a shockwave spread out hitting the ice walls like a hammer.

The walls barely even shook but beyond that nothing else happened. However the sound still managed to pass through.

It was heard throughout this entire region, mind you each region represented a world and in rare cases multiple worlds if said worlds were highly similar in nature before the merge.

This drew the attention of everybody including the leaders of this world, they flew on their flying treasures.

What they saw made their hearts shake with fear. Walls of ice so huge they reached the sky itself.

Yet even through those walls they were able see flashes of lightning so powerful they knew they would die immediately if touched by them.

Then one of them saw a figure sitting on top of one of those walls. They called out to her and tried to fly to her.

However their magic artefacts were not even able to draw close to her, the temperature near the walks was so low essence itself froze.

They retreated and watched everything with eyes filled with dread. Ved did not see any of this.

His attention was fully on the clouds above him. The fifth bolt was another spear but this one had a red tip.

A combination of second order and third order extinguishing tribulation lightning. It was harder to deal with.

It managed to break through his scales and even the bones on his arm cracked but his regeneration trait healed that almost instantly.

Ved did not use any other ability or trait,he wanted to absorb the lightning into his body and integrate third order extinguishing tribulation lightning into his lighting discharge trait.

After the second spear fell, the clouds churned once more and this time they turned red like blood.

Instead of a spear what came out was a rabbit, a rabbit the size of a human made from second order extinguishing tribulation lightning.

Its eyes, ears and paws were made from third order extinguishing tribulation lightning and thus were red.

The rabbit looked at him, he glared back then it attacked. Its body disappeared and appeared right behind him.

He wasn't surprised, Ved had almost achieved the absolute speed below comprehension realm.

The rabbit was infinitely close but was yet to reach the speed of light. It was faster than he was but not so much that he couldn't react.

He swung his tail without turning around forcing it to dodge. The heavens were really underestimating him.

The rabbit turned and kicked him on the ribs with its tiny foot. He felt lighting burn his insides.

The pure heavenly essence made the pain worse but that was all it was, pain, it couldn't deliver any significant damage to him.

Before it could react he created a dome around them. The rabbit was now trapped with him in a tiny space.

As a speed related type opponent, this situation was the worst that could happen to it.

It bounced around the dome trying to dodge him and Ved slowly shrunk the dome until there was nowhere to run.

The rabbit was devoured whole by him, its lightning burnt his tongue making him wince, he cancelled the dome and waited for the seventh bolt.

It came not long after, this time it was a rabbit and a bear and both were made from third order extinguishing tribulation lightning with barely any green on them.

That fight took longer and was much harder, the rabbit was fast, so fast it had actually reached the speed of light.

He didn't know how that was impossible but he had also seen it during Naledi's tribulation.

The bear on the other hand had enough physical strength to match him, a normal rank 6 would struggle against these two.

He tried to trap the rabbit but the bear shattered all of his traps rescuing the tiny rabbit.

Fortunately the longer they fought the more they used up their lightning and eventually they grew too weak and he devoured them.

On the eighth bolt he had to face three creatures, the rabbit, the bear and a snake more than 100 metres long.

The three of them still did not manage to force his image to come out meaning they didn't pose a threat to his life.

However they were very strong together, he couldn't afford to rely on his body alone to fight them off. He used black death, something he hadn't used in a long time.

Black death was persistent, forcing them to expend their lightning bodies to fight it off thus weakening them faster.

His body was damaged over and over again by them but his regeneration trait was at a new level.

It healed each wound in a blink of an eye, he struggled to defeat them forcing the battle to last hours without end.

Those outside were even more terrified now, the sound of battle outside shook their very souls.

To them it sounded like the battle of Gods themselves. Ved eventually came out on top but he was frustrated.

He wanted to use this tribulation to temper his body but that did not happen. The tribulation was not strong enough to threaten his life.

Without his image the wounds he took were meaningless and wouldn't benefit him at all which was annoying.

He even held back from using either soul force or ignition let alone the rest of his traits, yet still the tribulation failed to threaten his life.

' Perhaps I've just grown too strong.' he lamented his own strength, it was now holding him back.

Just as he thought that, his image suddenly bloomed behind him, it was so vast everybody in this region saw it.

Even those on neighbouring regions did. The lighting turned from red to pure silver which caught him off guard.

This made Naledi stand up, her face contorted with worry, she wondered if she should interfere.

After all, what they were facing right now was a fourth order extinguishing tribulation lightning.
