The negotiations after that did not take long, both parties were willing to compromise and neither wanted to lose access to the pond.
Ved and Naledi flew back to the mountain range, he wanted to get as many evolution points as a rank 5 as he can.
However his hope was crushed two days later. " You've reached the limit of how many evolution points you can have in this rank."
He stood frozen while reading the notification then he checked his status screen.

He spent the last two days hunting without stop, he mostly targeted those in groups to make things easier.
Naledi got tired of waiting and killed a rank 6 hawk for him, after devouring it he received this notification.
He hadn't even finished eating the entire thing yet, he sat down dejected, he wanted to gather enough points to achieve two evolutions.
With Naledi,that would not have been hard but his grand dreams were crushed by the cruel Manas who knows no mercy.
' DAMN YOU, YOU VILLAIN.'
He screamed in his head then heard Manas sigh.
" Curse me all you want, this will not change." He sighed deeply, Naledi raised her eyebrow.
" You're okay?" She asked with worry and he nodded with a smile then addressed Manas in his head.
' Why? Why can't I get more evolution points?'
he asked her.
" You've reached the limit of how many you can have, evolution points are a form of energy Ved and there's a limit to how much energy your soul can contain.
In fact this amount is already ridiculous, it's only because of how powerful your soul has gotten that you can even contain so many evolution points." Then she laughed.
" I can't wait for what happens next." That gave him a terrible premonition, ' Why what's coming?' she laughed at him, " Don't worry about it."
He knew she wouldn't tell him so he didn't bother asking any longer, he stood up and spread out his wings. " Let go, he told Naledi."
She jumped onto his back and they flew off breaking through the clouds. " You've gathered enough points?" She asked.
He nodded, " I've reached the limit of how many I can contain." Ved had told her about the system, Manas and everything.
They followed the map Wilflower had given them which luckily for them led in the same direction as his own map.
The place she told them to go to was over 50 million kilometres away. Ved had learnt that in Pangera, his full speed couldn't damage space even if he used it to travel long distances.
However it was also like sprinting at full speed under four times gravity so the stamina drain was immense.
Right now he was leisurely flying at about 20 thousand kilometres per hour, a mere fragment of his true speed which had reached 95 percent that of light.
A speed that normally belonged to manifestation realm experts. Before going there though he wanted to evolve.
Unlike others he didn't need essence, in fact he preferred if it wasn't there. He had adapted to it but it was still poisonous to him.
They detoured from their course and flew towards a region marked as an essence desert on the map.
It took them four days to get there, it wasn't exactly a desert but admittedly the ambient essence energy was thin.
However they had noticed a pattern, it didn't matter how thin the essence energy of a certain domain was.
The place where two worlds that formed those domains merged had a dense amount of essence energy.
This attracted demonic beasts of all kinds making said placed dangerous, he and Naledi were able to slip through without a fight because of how powerful his stealth was.
They landed on a mountain range, Ved frowned, his tribulation was usually very destructive, one for rank 6 advancement should be even worse.
This land was strangely teeming with lifeforms and all of them were weak. He could sense some demonic and spiritual beasts.
He saw countless mortal villages and towns, he saw Kingdoms and empires, some at war some at peace.
He also saw sects, like those he read about in fantasy. This region highly resembled a xianxia world.
The sects lived above the mortals lording over them like Gods. The strongest person he saw on his soul sense was a rank 4.
Around 20 of them including humans, demonic beasts and spiritual beasts, it was quite a weak world.
" I plan to undergo tribulation here but I'm afraid the shockwaves will destroy everything in this region."
He told Naledi who nodded like she understood," Don't worry, I'll contain the shockwaves for you."
She flew off and giant walls of ice formed around the mountain range rising all the way to the sky.
She sat on top of one of those walls and watched him then waved her hand bringing out two ice cubes.
Inside each was a living creature, one had a rat who occasionally turned into mist and reformed somewhere else.
The other had a three headed snake that kept looking around with fear, the snake was a timid demonic beast.
Both beasts were from physically weak races of demonic beasts whose main strategy of survival was either running and hiding or poisoning.
She gave him the cube with a three headed snake and he ate it. Ved immediately issued the order to start evolution afterwards.
Thunder roared as the heavens raged at the abomination he was. The first bolt of tribulation was also a first order extinguishing tribulation lightning.
The world turned a shade of purple, he easily shrugged It off. His body was much stronger than before.
The second and third bolt were also first order extinguishing tribulation lightning, each bolt as wide as a 100 metres.
They connected the heavens and the earth like giant pillars. The land shook as shockwaves and earthquakes spread out.

Ved did not mind any of that, he trusted Naledi and knew she wouldn't let the innocents of this world.
Ved personally didn't care about their lives but he had his own code. He didn't want to cause the death of innocents.
After the third bolt the liquid like cloud above churned, a few seconds passed without another attack.
Then there was a flash of green and a jade spear dropped from the clouds like a heaven bearing pillar.
" Fucken Odin." He cursed.
