The mage looked at Kai, the shock in her eyes could be seen from a distance. Kai looked at her with a smile on his face.

He started walking in her direction, still completely on fire, he looked like some ethereal being that had gone beyond everything and was now standing above it all.

The chats went wild with it, talking about what Kai was doing. It was simply awesome, the lone hero that was absolutely dominating all the raiders.

What drew more viewers was when they discovered Kai’s level, knowing that he had barely passed level ten when this all started.

These chats kept rushing in fast, even those that had been here since the beginning didn’t understand what was happening right now, but they all stayed, watching eagerly and not daring to look away, as though if they did, they would miss something very important, or Kai would do something crazy.

"There is no way someone like you should be in such a low level town." The mage said, she pointed at Kai, "what are you doing here? Did someone send you here to stop us?" She asked.

"Nah, I’m simply doing this because I want to." Kai replied, he gripped his sword and it shined under the light, pulling the attention of the mage, she looked at the blade for just an instant and Kai had already charged forward, running at so much speed that the ground cracked from the explosive force.

She immediately gripped her staff and pointed forward in an attempt to defend herself, but she couldn’t see who she was trying to attack, he had vanished from her sight and was now behind her.

Kai attacked fast, thrusting his blade toward her at light bending speed, and by the time that she was able to do anything about it, the blade had already pierced through her back and came out through the front.

"Tch," she clicked her lips, then coughed a mouthful of blood, she staggered forward off the blade and then turned to look at Kai.

"You stabbed a lady." She said.

"Yeah, I try to be gender equal, equal swings for both sides." Kai said casually.

The sixty seconds for his armor finished, and the flames died down, which meant that the buff was gone, even if the one from Mira was still there.

The mage looked at the armor and then she smiled, "seems whatever that was has finally ended." She said, and then suddenly the wound that the stab had left slowly started covering up right in front of Kai’s eyes.

In a few seconds she was healed and back to her full state, she looked at Kai with a very cheeky smile, "killing me would never be that simple now would it?" She asked.

’She healed herself? Tch, I should have expected that much from a high level mage.’ Kai thought, he stepped back a few and allowed some distance between them.

"Are you running away? You don’t want to fight anymore?" She asked.

"Nope, not that, I’m just getting myself ready for the next round." Kai replied.

"We really don’t have to keep going, if you allow us to do what we want, you and I could actually become friends rather than enemies." She said, her smile bright on her face as she spoke to him.

"Nah, why would I do that? Allow you to murder the entire town, you do know that when NPCs die in a raid, they don’t respawn, right?" Kai stated.

It was known in this game that when something like a raid happened, the nameless NPCs that normally respawn never do again, and every character that dies remains dead, important or not.

She looked at Kai after he said that, "interesting, you have empathy for them." She said.

"No, but I don’t necessarily go around killing everyone, people kill most NPCs because they respawn, they will come back, but your actions in a raid change that, it shifts everything, and they can no longer respawn, their families are forced to exist without them and whatnot." "Hmmmmm, hahahaha" She burst into laughter, wild and cruel, her eyes rolled back into her head, a sudden shift in her character, she swung her head back forward, her eyes gleamed with a dark glow, but the smile returned.

"Who would think that I would come to find something so interesting in this boring, boring, boring raid." Her tone shifted, becoming louder and sharper.

Kai could feel something shifting, something changing, the entire stream watched her, wondering what in the world was even going on right now.

She looked at Kai, and then stuck out her tongue like a snake and slowly licked her lips.

"Let me introduce myself to you," she said and then stood straight, she gave a majestic full bow, "I am Gamela, the Mage, and also known as the Gatherer. This world has so much that is interesting, unlike the real world, and I want to have it all." Her eyes shined as she spoke those words.

She pointed right at Kai, "you’ve shown me that the system of the game isn’t as simple as it is meant to be, that even an ant can hold up against an elephant, and to that, I say, well done, you have caught my full attention."

’Shit, shit shit, I might have come across a crazy lady.’ Kai thought.

"Uhm chat, can anyone find me information on the player Gamela?" Kai asked immediately, he looked at Gamela while he patiently waited for a response.
