The Universe Rune shone brightly, radiating an array of luminescent streams that coiled and danced around the mirror like fervent serpents.

Moments later, a transparent ball of light enveloped the mirror, ensnaring it in a radiant prison. The sphere began to contract rapidly, condensing its blinding light until, in a sudden collapse, both the mirror and its radiant prison vanished from sight.

After a few measured breaths, Liang exhaled a sigh of relief. He had successfully sealed the mirror. But it wasn’t just any seal—he had created a miniature universe around the mirror, isolating it completely.

After yet another arduous cycle of derivations, Liang finally let out a sigh of relief.

A glint flashed in his eyes; it was time to leave.

He took a decisive step forward and vanished into thin air.

When he reappeared, a glimmer of cynical satisfaction curved his lips into a sneer.

Despite his attempt to teleport to the outer edges of the solar system, he found himself in a different, more familiar place.

The Void Intention Matrix.

On the surface, the Dong Clan appeared to exist solely within Nuxes, but that was only part of the truth.

The Dong Clan actually resided in a secret realm within Nuxes.

The only means of entering and exiting this clandestine domain was through the Void Intention Matrix.

Scanning his surroundings, Liang waved his hand, and instantly, numerous small Voidforge runes materialized from the depths of the Void Intention Matrix.

Before he had departed with Dong Rui the last time, Liang had already dispersed many Voidforge runes throughout the entire space.

These Voidforge runes possessed not only the ability to integrate into any formation but also the power to reveal the formation’s key components.

It was much like taking control of the entire matrix, albeit through a painstakingly slow process. The runes would have to be integrated for an extended period.

After retrieving the Voidforge runes, Liang’s eyes flickered subtly.

The formation keys he had acquired barely equated to five percent of the entire structure, insufficient to grant him control over the matrix but just enough to facilitate his departure.

Moments later, Liang arrived at a brooding, obsidian-hued portal, the renowned Nocturna Portal. It emanated an eerie glow, stark against the desolate landscape.

Liang had chosen this specific portal for a reason: Nocturna was the closest celestial body to the periphery of their solar system, making it the best vantage point for his next phase of the journey.

With a deft flick of his fingers, Liang summoned a cascade of miniature Voidforge runes, which shimmered briefly before dissolving into the stony gateway. As if responding to a secret language, the portal began to hum, rippling with an unnatural energy.

In a matter of heartbeats, the portal stood fully open.

Without a trace of hesitation or surprise, Liang stepped through, his countenance calm and composed.

The familiar dusky ambiance greeted him as he materialized on the other side. The sky was a tapestry of twilight hues, feeling that familiar atmosphere a slight chuckle escaped Liang’s lips.

His gaze fixed on a distant landmark—a towering, heaven-reaching spiral that dominated the horizon. Numerous thoughts flickered through his mind, his eyes reflecting a complex medley of emotions before settling into their usual calm.

"The stone tablet is no ordinary artifact; it once belonged to the Divine Dusk Paragon," Liang mused aloud, his voice tinged with a note of caution. "Someone who has already ascended. It’s wise to avoid entanglements with such entities."

A bitter smile graced his lips as memories of the golden figure from the Black Lotus Forbidden Ground resurfaced. Despite the passage of time, the encounter remained fresh in his mind.

His extensive knowledge led him to surmise that the golden figure was a split of divine sense, left by an ascended cultivator, lying in wait for the maturation of the Primal Chaos Lotus. But in a twist of fate, Liang had secured the lotus effortlessly.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Liang vanished from his current spot. Moments later, he found himself at the edge of the Celestial Integration Matrix, a vantage point offering a panoramic view of the entire solar system.

The sight before him prompted a sigh, heavy with sentiment.

Although only a few years had passed, the journey had felt like an eternity.

Determined not to linger, Liang took a resolute step forward, disappearing from the solar system altogether.

Although Liang departed quietly, the aftermath was beyond anyone’s imagination.

"Clan Head, we’ve searched everywhere, but there’s no trace of him," a plump elder reported, his face creased with worry.

"Clan Head! Clan Head! We found him!" A loud voice shattered the tense atmosphere of the hall.

Dong Tian Di turned sharply, locking eyes with the breathless messenger. "Speak, Elder Xuo. Where is he?"

Elder Xuo’s lips quivered, unable to form words. Instead, he waved his hand, and a translucent screen materialized in midair.

The screen displayed footage of Liang entering and then exiting the Void Integration Matrix.

"How can this be?" The plump elder beside Dong Tian Di exclaimed, eyes wide in disbelief.

His astonished gaze shifted back to Dong Tian Di. "Clan Head, this person exited the matrix without an Identification Cube. How is this possible?"

Elder Xuo responded promptly, "Elder Kun, the matter isn’t as complicated as it seems. You only need two components."

"Two components?" Elder Kun raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Void-based Rune and great formation attainment," Elder Xuo said gravely.

Elder Kun’s eyes narrowed, absorbing the information. "Should we then make the search public? Extend it across the entire solar system?"

Their discussion was suddenly interrupted by a loud, urgent voice. "B... Brother Tian Di!"

A purple-robed old man suddenly appeared, moving hastily across the grand hall. Every step echoed ominously, drawing attention to his urgent demeanor.

Upon seeing the purple-robed elder, the expressions on the three men’s faces turned grim, their eyes filled with trepidation.

"What is it, Elder Zu? Is someone attacking the solar system?" Elder Xuo’s voice carried a heavy weight, laced with concern.

Elder Zu’s face contorted with a mix of emotions before realization dawned in his eyes, and he slowed his pace. "Elder Xuo, you must be joking," he remarked, slightly breathless.

"Then what would bring the Celestial Integration Matrix overseer here?" Elder Kun’s tone was dark, suggesting that the unexpected arrival of this figure was rarely good news for the Dong Clan.

Elder Zu’s face flushed red as he cleared his throat. "The matter I come here to discuss concerns Brother Tian..." He coughed, correcting himself. "I mean, the Clan Head."

"Me?" Dong Tian Di raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued.

"Indeed, Brother—I mean, Clan Head. This person Liang, who was supposed to marry the little girl... ah, I mean the Saintess," Elder Zu stammered, clearly uncomfortable with the ritualistic titles. "The person has run away!"

"Run away?" The three men exchanged confused glances before sudden realization struck them, their faces darkening.

""You mean that wretch has left the solar system?" Dong Tian Di’s voice grew dark as the realization took hold.

Elder Zu nodded, a glimmer of admiration in his eyes. "His mastery of the void is extraordinary. Were it not for my constant vigilance, I wouldn’t have detected his departure."

Dong Tian Di’s eyes narrowed, his thoughts coalescing around immediate action. "Summon Elder Hue at once."

Elder Kun bowed and swiftly exited the hall, returning moments later with Elder Hue in tow.

Upon seeing Elder Hue, the three elders’ eyes widened in surprise. "Elder Hue, have you broken through to the Divine Level?" Elder Xuo blurted out, visibly astonished.

Elder Hue smiled modestly and nodded. "This old man was fortunate enough to form a divine spark, thereby achieving the Divine Level."

Dong Tian Di’s eyes flickered thoughtfully, yet he remained silent, his gaze piercing and unrelenting as he fixated on Elder Hue. The intensity of his stare was palpable, and Elder Hue squirmed under the scrutiny.

Feeling the weight of the Clan Head’s scrutiny, Elder Hue shifted uncomfortably. With a respectful bow, he cupped his hands and asked, "Clan Head, is there any way I can be of assistance?"

Without warning, Dong Tian Di snorted, his expression twisted into one of disdain. An overwhelming and terrifying aura erupted from him, spreading like wildfire throughout the core region.

The three elders beside him, despite their status as Divine Level experts, felt the immediate and crushing impact of Dong Tian Di’s sudden power. Their breaths caught in their throats, faces contorted in an effort to resist the suffocating pressure.

A shiver ran down Elder Hue’s spine, a chilling sensation that caused him to instinctively step back, his feet crunching on the gravel beneath him.

Moments later, Dong Tian Di’s overwhelming aura vanished, leaving an eerie stillness in its wake.

"Elder Hue," Dong Tian Di’s voice sliced through the silence like a blade, "I will only ask this once. Whether you are at the Divine Level or not, it won’t matter. You’d better answer wisely, or face death."

Elder Hue’s throat tightened, but he forced himself to take a deep breath. "Please ask, Clan Head I wouldn’t dare to lie."
