Apocalyptic Beastworld: A Farming Space Dimension to Another World-Chapter 30: Meeting with Han Zhicong

For a moment, Su Yining felt as if the game characters were alive. They had a life and personality of their own, just like Wan Lan, or even her Yuanyuan.

It made her feel interested to explore more. The new residents didn’t feel like just simple NPCs.

Her thoughts were interrupted as she spotted Chen Kaixuan’s presence in the distance. His gaze was a little gloomy, and fortunately, he wasn’t staring in her direction. Hence, he had not noticed her figure.

This time, she was no longer as anxious. With unprecedented calmness, she took large steps from her current position, mingling with the crowd who were crossing the road.

By the time he looked up again, he missed her figure.

Until Su Yining walked far away, she sensed that no one was following her. Her lips curled up into a small smile, feeling like she was the most relaxed ever since the harassment began a few days ago.

She even hummed a song until her bus came.

The place where she would meet with Han Zhicong was a cafe near her office. Surprisingly, she already spotted him inside even when she came early.

Strangely, she was no longer afraid it was a trap. Even if it was, she would face it and was confident she could deal with them both!

"Han Zhicong." She greeted him.

The man was dozing off, so the moment he heard Su Yining’s words, he nearly fell from his chair in surprise. Soon, he adjusted his emotions. In an awkward tone, he greeted back. "Su Yining."

His face resembled a panda. The dark circle around his eyes showed how tired he was. He must not have enough sleep because of last night’s overtime.

"Let’s talk about it." She calmly opened the conversation.

The base was truly underdeveloped. Although there were many basic necessities like the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc, the place still needed some effort for development.

The underground ice cellar which was located below the castle had begun to melt. They needed more manpower, especially someone with ice ability. Unfortunately, among the rescued beastmen, there was no one with such an ability.

Lin Yuyao had just discussed the farming plan with Wan Lan when she heard her brother reporting about the problem. She bit her lip, not knowing how to solve it.

She could make some decisions after she discussed them with Xie Ziyuan, but some things were still outside her power.

"I have heard of it. Fertilizer made from fierce beasts excrement are the beast since they contain spiritual energy." Lin Yuyao nodded. "I saw some plastic bags in the warehouse. This method should be feasible. When Master Xie comes out of the seclusion, I will bring this matter to him."

Wan Lan’s shy face was filled with excitement. She grasped Lin Yuyao’s hand and repeatedly muttered her thanks.

Lin Yuyao could only smile back. However, she was a little worried inside. Xie Ziyuan didn’t allow anyone to disturb him, so she could only wait for him to come find her first.

"There are keys in this box." Xie Ziyuan handed over the box to Lin Yuyao.

The little girl’s eyes lit up when she saw the various keys. They didn’t seem to be keys for the rooms only. After she was done checking, she uttered some of her plans.

"You can use the space behind the castle for that." Xie Ziyuan nodded when Lin Yuyao laid out the plan to make a small farming spot. He subconsciously thought about his inner space.

Would the ghostly woman be attracted to the farming spot outside his inner space?

"What if we put the plants around the walls?" Lin Yuyao pursed her lips thoughtfully. "It should save some space."

Xie Ziyuan shook his head in disapproval. "The front courtyard will be a place for training in the future. The plants might get smashed in if you put them close to the beastmen."

Lin Yuyao took note of everything Xie Ziyuan said. Finally, she muttered about the ice in the cellar that had begun to melt. "Master Xie, we don’t have a beastman with ice ability, so the elephant meat might go bad in a few days."

It was a source of worry. Food were scarce. It was unknown how Xie Ziyuan found such a huge fierce beast with relatively low rank compared to other fierce beasts in the dangerous zone. There might not be a second one. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

He might have gone to other places to hunt the elephant fierce beasts. She knew very well that teleportation talismans were precious, and Xie Ziyuan might not have a lot of them in his hands.

Gradually, a head poked inside. "There you are, Yuyao!" The dog beastmen strolled inside. "I have been looking for you everywhere."

Gradually, his voice sounded anxious. He didn’t seem to realize Xie Ziyuan was also inside because the latter was standing far away after he handed the keys to Lin Yuyao.

The dog beastman scratched his head. "Yuyao, you haven’t forgotten to mention it to Master Xie, right? I want to bring my family here."

A moment later, as he approached Lin Yuyao, he seemed to sense a cold gaze from somewhere in the room. The dog beastman jolted in shock. "M-master Xie?!"

Lin Yuyao sighed. "Just talk to Master Xie yourself..."

Xie Ziyuan had given her a look and ordered her to fetch the other beastman who had family members, so she exited the room, turning blind eye at the dog beastman’s pleading gaze. He was obviously shocked she was leaving him alone with Xie Ziyuan.

Why did he look as if he had stepped into a wolf den? Master Xie is a wolf and he is a dog. Both species are still one family! She couldn’t help but ridicule in her heart.
