Chapter 303: Chapter 17: Conquering Hollywood_2

One was the son of a former Assistant Minister of Health, and the other was the fiancé of a board member of the New World Foundation, an organization that could be dubbed the Democratic Party’s shit-stirring headquarters.

This status made David’s father-in-law have only one thought, that David Schafer truly loved his daughter.

"You know, if you inherit your father-in-law’s little political legacy, it means giving up your Democratic Party stance, right?" Stephen, with a cigarette in his mouth, stretched lazily and asked David, "Let me be clear, although I said I supported you when we intimidated your father-in-law, I absolutely won’t send you a donation check if you run for the Republican Party, because my old man would kill me with a knife."

Stephen’s family had always been staunch supporters of the Democratic Party.

"My situation is somewhat similar to Stephen’s, Ottelia is a director of the New World Foundation, and stance is very important," Tommy also spoke up, "You better handle your stance issue properly."

"You should have told me earlier that you could already call the shots, and I wouldn’t have had to marry the woman I’m with now!" David Schafer cursed softly under his breath, discontented, "Especially fucking Tommy, even if it was just two months earlier, to let me know that Ottelia became a director of the New World Foundation! After hearing about this, I feel like tomorrow’s bachelor party has lost its appeal."

A bachelor party prepared by the CS crew for David was scheduled for tomorrow in Atlantic City, after all, it’s easier to let loose there. The other members of CS would go directly there, only Tommy and Stephen would accompany him to Atlantic City tomorrow.

Tommy had come from Los Angeles, while Stephen had already been in Atlanta before. That bastard, for some reason, was intensely interested in movies, had written a screenplay, and was traveling the world to meet directors and film companies to see if he had a chance to make it to the big screen. Atlanta had a strong film atmosphere, and he came here to discuss his creative ideas with a few directors.

"So after you ended your internship as an assistant in Washington D.C., what are you planning to do?" Tommy asked David.

"My father-in-law wants me to become the campaign manager for a Republican candidate for Georgia’s Insurance Commissioner. He thinks I’m smart enough to help them come up with some unexpected campaign strategies," David walked over to Tommy, sat down next to him, and began, "If I had known about Ottelia’s influence in the Democratic Party earlier, I wouldn’t have done such a foolish thing."

"I just didn’t expect you to have the chance to sacrifice your own ’fat’ so soon in exchange for the support of a state legislator father-in-law," Tommy stood up, leaving the sofa, and stretched his arms and legs to avoid being squeezed off by David:

"That isn’t my fault."

"Of course, it’s your and Stephen’s fault. You two went to the distant West Coast, while a few of us were on the East Coast for college, and we could meet up several times a year, only you two seemed to have evaporated from the world," David said resentfully.

Apart from Stephen and Tommy, the other people of the CS crew basically stayed on the East Coast for college.

Gambler Chris, had fulfilled his mathematician father’s wish by getting into Columbia University, an Ivy League school his father never made it into, through summer camp activities. He is currently preparing to attend Stanford University for graduate studies in computer-related fields, continuing his research on game theory and theoretical probability, as well as attempting to use computer software to simulate poker games to enhance his understanding of the game.

BigBaby Frank, heeded his Italian mother’s advice and enrolled at New York University, where he is now in the business school attending graduate school. After graduation, he will become a suave misfit in New York’s Wall Street financial circles.

Batman Kevin went to New York University just like Frank but ended up choosing to study performing arts at the School of Arts because he lost his athletic ability. Now he’s an improvisational stand-up comedian at a high-end comedy club on Long Island, New York. By the way, this cool guy who ran to administer vigilante justice when he was not happy, now goes by the name Kevin James.

Queen Catherine studied economics at Cornell University in New York and is now working in a family business located in New Hampshire.

Fishwife Zoey, studied linguistics at Tufts University near Boston and is now a news anchor at WORC TV station in Worcester City, Massachusetts.

Add to that Dennis, who studied at West Point Military Academy in New York, and Pam, who took a course in naval engineering at Rhode Island’s Naval Engineering College.

Indeed, apart from Tommy and Stephen, everyone from CS was on the East Coast.

Tommy even knew that those guys in New York often met up for gatherings.

"Forget it, let’s not talk about unpleasant things." David shook his head and then laid down on the sofa, dozing off, mumbling, "Where’s the girl? I need another round, F*ck, for the rest of my life I’ll only be with that ugly woman... I don’t want to be with an ugly woman... I want to spend the precious time I have left before I enter the marital cage on something more worthwhile..."

"Did you arrange a bunch of country girls in Atlanta to drain him dry?" Tommy, seeing David pass out, turned to Stephen and asked:

"You should have kept him energized. I had Dennis go ahead to Atlantic City, to book the entire Trump Hotel resort. Now, the hotel manager is selecting girls for us as per our taste, and there are going to be some temporarily transferred from the Vegas branch."
