Chapter 217: Chapter 76: My Days at the Fraternity Have Just Begun_5

Sophia took a deep breath and accepted the tissue Tommy offered her, "I’m just feeling a bit sentimental, thanks, Tommy. This tissue made me realize for the first time that you can be a polite human being."

"Even at such a sentimental moment, you don’t forget to attack me. You’ve been corrupted by my bad influence," Tommy said with a happy smile, "Speaking of which, you’re coming with me later." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Then he turned to the others, spread his arms wide, "Come on, we rich folks are going to move everything out ourselves, officially close Garage Number 9 and wait for its next tenant."

The now-wealthy members of Actor Corporation awkwardly struggled to move packed boxes out of the garage. When everything was out, the group stood in a row, gazing into the completely empty space.

Tommy finally pulled down the garage’s rolling door himself, locked it, and tossed the key to Holly, who would return it to the management office at Stanford University.

"Strive hard in your own lives, everyone! I’ll attend Stanford while cheering you on, so don’t bother contacting me, the courses at Stanford are quite demanding," said Tommy as he looked around at everyone. After finishing, he took Sophia’s wrist and headed in the direction of the school.

Sophia was dragged away by Tommy, struggling and asking puzzledly, "But I haven’t said goodbye to everyone yet. Tommy, that’s very impolite!"

"Goodbye? I don’t need to look back to know that these guys are flipping me off," said Tommy, laughing without turning his head.

Sophia turned back curiously, and sure enough, except for Garry Good, Holly, Jason, Mark, and Susan, everyone was giving the departing duo the middle finger.

"They are indeed doing that, but why? You didn’t swear just now, did you?" asked Sophia, bewildered, after seeing the scene.

Tommy explained, "Because they need to work hard in their lives just like I do. The harder they strive, the more money I make. And as the one who earns the most, I plan to do nothing but shout a few cheers from the sidelines. I guess, that’s why they’re sending me off with the middle finger."

"Tommy, you’re an asshole!" Holly shouted after Tommy Hawk’s retreating figure, tears streaming down her face before she even finished, "I can’t believe he feels no attachment to Actor."

Jason let out a sigh and comforted Holly, "You’ve already said the answer; because he’s an asshole."

"God and the world have been witnesses!" Hearing Holly’s shout, Tommy didn’t turn his head, but raised his left hand high, flipped the middle finger, and shout back,

"Actor! The birthplace of a bunch of assholes!"

It wasn’t until they walked back onto the campus that Sophia regained her composure and asked Tommy, "Where are you taking me, Tommy?"

"Is your dorm bed comfortable?" Tommy asked Sophia.

Sophia frowned and stopped in her tracks, glaring at Tommy, "Tommy, you can’t always make these vulgar jokes that you think are charming but are actually disrespectful to women."

"I have no plans of getting into bed with you, Sophia. I have plenty of female readers willing to engage in a little romance with me if I agree. I could help increase a state’s population all by myself," said Tommy with his hands behind his head, walking forward without stopping, bathed in the sunlight as he continued,

"All I meant was that you’ve fallen asleep on my shoulder countless times on red-eye flights. This time, it’s your turn to be the pillow. I need a good sleep."

This asshole’s remark instantly reminded Sophia of the times when he would tenderly strap an eye mask on her during their red-eye flights and offer his shoulder as a pillow.

"Do you think if I got a boob job you’d sleep better resting on top of them?" mimicking Tommy’s tone, Sophia jokingly shouted this embarrassing joke at his retreating back, with tears and laughter shading her words.

"If you get a boob job and then I become as alert as I was before, that would be worse," Tommy turned around, looking at Sophia with a tired expression, waving his hand,

"So, let’s just go to sleep, shall we? I’m tired and need a good long sleep."

Sophia walked up, joined Tommy side by side, and moved forward, "What about after waking up?"

"Of course, we’ll continue to be busy. I didn’t stay here at the university just for a diploma; there’s another reason. I haven’t tapped into the full value of the SSD yet," Tommy said as he walked towards the dormitories,

"Actor’s work is done for now, but my days in the Fraternity are just beginning."
