Two days later,

Dolly, acting on information given by Susan, arrived at the hotel where Dyson was staying, at the point where the Purple Star Pack and the other pack meet. Dolly arrived with a fake ID given to her by Susan. For a long time she remained in the shadows.

There are Alpha Warriors patrolling around the hotel and checkpoints have been set up outside the hotel so that anyone entering or leaving the hotel needs to show identification.

Dolly looked at the time on her cell phone. She had been here nearly three hours, but had as yet been unable to find a way to blend into the hotel.

That’s when an Alpha Warrior noticed her. He immediately walked quickly towards her, " What are you doing here?"

" I was just leaving." Dolly said hurriedly.

The Alpha Warrior pointed his pistol at Emily, and he said to her fiercely, " Get out of here, Or I won’t go easy on you."

Dolly turned hurriedly away. She walked deliberately toward the opposite side of the road. As a cab sped past her, she instantly stopped in her tracks. The cab stopped suddenly beside Dolly, the window rolled down, and a man in the driver’s seat, wearing a blue jacket and goatee, leaned over and stared at her.

Dolly looked at the man warily, and then she heard him say to her, "Get in."

The voice sounded like a woman’s voice and Dolly looked at the man questioningly, " I’m Susan, get in the car." He said.

"Susan?" Dolly looked surprised.

" Get in the car." Susan urged.

It was Susan’s voice, but how had Susan become a man? Dolly had no time to think about it; she just pulled the door open and got into the passenger seat.

The cab started slowly and as they moved away from the hotel, Dolly asked, " How did you become a man?"

" Thanks to those two little devils. " Susan said as she drove, "Mina and Maggie haven’t been idle since they arrived at the Pack. They work on weird things every day, and this silicone mask is one of their new inventions."

"This mask looks very realistic. " Dolly took a closer look at the mask Susan was wearing. Not only did it fit the shape of her face, but even her moustache looked like the real thing.

"I brought you one too." Susan says, pulling a silicone mask from a bag at her feet and tossing it to Dolly.

"Why are you here? " Dolly asked, "Aren’t you afraid of being implicated?"

"How are you going to get into the hotel if I don’t come? " Susan said, turning the car into an alley.

" Do you have a way to get into the hotel? " Dolly asked.

" My uncle got me a pass and later on we can get into the hotel with that pass."

" Why are you helping me?"

"It’s not exactly to help you. " Susan said as she parked the car in the alley, "If you get caught, my uncle’s pack will suffer too. Besides, I don’t want you to get your throat cut, so I have to watch you."

"I said I won’t get you guys involved. " Dolly looked out warily, the alley was dark." What are we doing here?"

"Put on the suit, and then the mask. " Susan said," Hurry up."

Dolly quickly changed into her clothes, then she tied her hair back and put on the mask. Dolly looked in the rearview mirror and saw herself. Now she looked like a normal man.

Susan parked the cab in the alley, and they walked across to the other side of the alley to the back of the hotel.

" Take it easy, don’t let them see anything." Susan reminded Dolly, and they headed for the hotel’s back entrance.

As Susan handed her pass to the Alpha Warrior guarding the door, he took one look at them and let them in without a word.

Susan said to Dolly in a very low voice as she walked toward the hotel lobby, "There’s a janitor working at seven o’clock, trying to get the room card on her. Usually the janitor has an elevator card on her and swipes it to get on each floor. Now it’s off to the front desk to figure out how to get Dyson’s room information. We meet in the elevator in ten minutes."

Dolly nodded as she headed in the direction of the janitor at work. She caught a glimpse of the corner of the elevator card peeking out of the janitor’s pocket. So as she passed the janitor, she deliberately knocked over the cleaning cart. When the cleaner repeatedly stoops to apologize to her, Dolly takes the opportunity to steal the cleaner’s elevator card from his pocket.

Ten minutes later, Susan and Dolly swiped their cards and took the elevator to the floor where Dyson lived." Dyson lives in the last room at the end. " Susan whispered.

Dolly glanced in the direction of the end of the hallway, " The lack of guards there means Dyson is not in his room."

" Or maybe we should go into the hotel security room and check the surveillance to see where Dyson went." Susan said.

Dolly realized that someone was approaching and she immediately reminded Susan, " Be quiet and keep walking."

A strong perfume mixed with alcohol came from behind them, and Dolly saw a woman stagger past them.

She was Gina.

​Dolly’s eyes were fixed on the woman who was moving toward the end of the line, and then she motioned to Susan to follow. As Gina pulls her card out of her handbag and swipes it to open the door, Dolly hustles Gina inside as fast as she can, and Susan closes the door behind her.

Gina is pushed to the floor and she drunkenly yells at Dolly, "What the fuck are you doing?"

Dolly doesn’t say a word as she punches Gina unconscious." What did you beat her for? " Susan asked, surprised.

"She just yelled at me. " The thought of Gina and Dyson working together made Dolly want to punch Gina one more time.

"Wake her up later. Her Dyson’s lapdog,"Susan said," She must know where Dyson has Emily."

"Also give her this pill. " Susan said as she pulled a clear bag from her pocket that contained a pink pill. She handed the clear bag to Dolly, " This pill will make her tell the truth."

" Is this another one of the twins’ new inventions? " Dolly asked.

"Yes, they call it Dream Candy. " Susan replied.

Dolly then breaks Gina’s mouth open as she shoves the pink pill into her mouth.

" Look." Susan glanced at a laptop sitting on the table, and she quickly walked over to examine it.

"The computer’s open and there’s still a view of the hotel’s surveillance from here. I’m so lucky. " Susan said.

" I have to find a way to wake her up." Dolly said as she grabbed a glass of red wine from the coffee table and poured it directly into Gina’s face, and the next second her eyes were wide open.

Gina looks at Dolly with misty eyes and asks in a slurred voice, "Where is this place?"

"Who are you, tell me? " Dolly asks.

"My name is Gina. " Gina answered truthfully.

"Where is Emily?"

"I don’t know. " Gina said, "I hate her."

Dolly thought for a moment, and then she asked, "Where did you last see Emily?"

" At the warehouse." Gina giggles, " I stabbed her in the thigh with a dagger."

" Damn, what did you do to her?" Dolly raised her hand to slap Gina, but she held it back. She had to control her emotions before she could get the answer she wanted.

" And then what?" Dolly presses on, while Susan takes pictures of her computer with her cell phone.

" Then some ugly man took her away." said Gina, taking the hair in her mouth and chewing on it.

"Who was that man? Why did he take Emily?"

Gina tilted her head in thought, "Dyson said that man was a wizard for the Wolf King of the West and that he was taking Emily to his king."

Dolly is shocked to learn that Emily is in the hands of the Wolf King of the West, and wonders why the Wolf King of the West sent someone to take Emily.

" Dolly, Dyson is coming back." Susan hurriedly put away her phone, " He is in the elevator and there are several bodyguards following him. We have to get out of here."

Dolly wants to ask Gina more questions, but Susan pushes her, so she has to leave. While they were waiting for the elevator, Dyson and his bodyguards happened to emerge from another elevator. They brushed against each other, and fortunately Dyson did not notice anything.

Soon, Susan drove Dolly back to the Purple Star pack and on the way back, Dolly asked, "What did you just shoot?"

"I found evidence of Dyson’s collusion with the West on his computer. " Susan said as she drove, "I’m going to take this evidence to my uncle, maybe he’ll know what to do."

Dolly said no more, and when they got back to the Purple Star Pack Susan went straight to her uncle. Dolly went to her room and got out her cell phone to call Adam.

Dolly told Adam the story in the shortest possible words, and when she had finished she expected Adam to reprimand her, but he did not.

Adam was silent for a long time.

" I want to go to the West to find Emily." Dolly broke the silence.

Then she heard Adam’s voice on the other end of the line, "Wait until I send someone to find out if Elijah has Emily."

" She’s definitely in the hands of the Wolf King of the West. I don’t want to wait any longer, I’m going to the West," Dolly said with certainty."

"When are you going to leave? " Adam asked.

"As soon as possible, preferably tomorrow." To wait another day would be torture to her.

"Okay, I’ll arrange for one of our men to meet you in the west." Adam said, " Remember to contact me anytime when you get to the west."

" Ok."

Dolly hung up the phone and went to the door of the twins’ room. It was time to say good-bye to the two little ones.
