Alpha's replacement bride is destined mate-Chapter 140 You Are a Robber
"Get out of my house!" A shrill voice echoed from upstairs.
When Emily reached the third floor, she was shocked by what she saw. There, two twin princesses were violently wrestling with a short-haired girl. The three girls seemed to be engaged in a frantic struggle, their faces contorted in anger and obstinacy.
Mina and the short-haired girl were tugging at each other’s hair, their fingers intertwined between the strands, as if they were about to rip each other’s scalps off. The short-haired girl’s eyes flashed with a fierce light, and she suddenly lifted her foot and delivered a violent kick to Mina’s shin. Mina cried out in pain, lost her balance, and tumbled to the ground.
Seeing this, Maggie didn’t hesitate. She gave the short-haired girl a vigorous shove, sending her slamming into the edge of the railing. The rail creaked ominously, as if it might snap at any moment.
"Stop!" Emily shouted at the girls.
She quickly stepped between the three, holding Mina and the short-haired girl by their arms to prevent them from continuing the fight. Maggie stood aside, her chest heaving violently, her eyes still blazing with anger.
"God, are you causing me trouble just by leaving for a little while?" Dolly ran out of the room, wrapped in a bath towel, her hair still damp.
"What happened?" Emily confronted the two twin princesses.
"She pushed me first," Mina accused, pointing to the short-haired girl menacingly. "She also told me to get out of her house."
"You’re supposed to be Susan, right?" Emily looked at the short-haired girl, whose hair was cropped short like a boy’s, and whose brown eyes conveyed a stubborn determination.
"You messed with my father’s relics," Susan retorted. "Why do you robbers live in my house?"
Just then, the doorbell rang. Emily turned to Marx and said, "Go open the door and see who’s coming."
Marx obeyed. Soon, there was a flurry of footsteps descending the stairs, and Emily saw Carl hurrying towards them.
"Luna, what’s going on?" Carl asked, a worried expression on his face. "I was passing by when I heard a commotion."
"Carl!" Susan screamed and rushed over to hug him. "Help me get these people out of here." 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"Miss Susan, calm down," Carl said gently to Susan. "Our pack will be ruled by the new Alpha, and the one standing in front of you is Luna of Alpha Klaus. I’ve told you these things before. Have you forgotten?"
"This pack belongs only to my father," Susan exclaimed, glaring at Emily.
"Susan, you can’t be rude to Luna," Carl said solemnly.
"I didn’t care who she was. Anyway, I don’t like these people living in my house," Susan said, agitated, her eyes red.
"You rude country girl, do you know who we are?" Mina put on a regal air. "We are princesses, and our rank is higher than yours. You just pushed me, and by the law, you deserve to die."
"Mina, shut up," Emily yelled at Mina. "You can’t bully anyone with your status as a princess. Now, go back to your room."
"She did it first," Mina exclaimed. "It’s not fair."
"Dolly, take them back to their rooms," Emily ordered.
"Okay, princesses, let’s go back to our rooms," Dolly persuaded the two princesses. "How about we play together?"
"I’m not going to let you off that easily," Mina threatened Susan. "We’ll see."
Maggie snorted at Susan as they slammed the door. Seeing this, Susan let go of Carl’s hand and rushed into the room.
The loud sound of her door slamming echoed through the hallway, and Carl reluctantly said to Emily, "I’m sorry, Luna. Forgive Miss Susan, she’s been emotionally unstable since her father’s departure. She just can’t accept the fact that the packs are merging for a while."
"It’s okay. I’ll talk to her another day."
"Luna, are we going to continue with what we just talked about?" Marx asked.
"It’s too late, let’s continue tomorrow," Emily said to the two men. "Go back and rest."
"Good night, Luna," Marx said.
"It’s my shift on patrol tonight. If anything happens, you can call me," Carl said.
Emily nodded, and only after they had left did she return to her room. When she was ready to go to bed, Klaus called her.
"How’s it going, lover?" Klaus’s familiar voice came from the other end of the line.
"Alpha Andrew’s Beta familiarized me with the pack, and I checked the information about the pack along the way," Emily said truthfully. "The economy of the Green Forest Pack is the opposite of what the report says, and there’s no extra housing available here for our members, so Marx and I are planning to convert the abandoned school into a residence."
"That’s a good idea. But are you sure there’s enough money in the pack’s public account to pay for the renovation of the building?"
Emily hesitated for a few seconds. "Yes."
She wouldn’t tell Krause just yet.
"If you run into any problems, remember to let me know," Klaus admonished her.
"I will."
"Kitten, I miss you. I can’t sleep properly without you by my side. So..."
"So what do you want to do?"
"Maybe you can open the video and let me see you," Klaus said, his words sexually suggestive. "You know what I want."
Emily went to the window. The night wind was too cold, and as she tried to close it, she heard a staccato sob.
Upstairs was Susan’s room, where the poor girl was clearly weeping.
"Maybe you should go to bed," Emily decisively refused his request. "I’m tired."
"Okay, good night," Klaus said, disappointed.
Emily hung up the phone and went outside Susan’s room to knock.
Susan still didn’t open the door, so Emily said to Susan through the door, "Hey, Susan, it’s Emily. I think we should have a talk. Can you open the door?"
A few minutes later, the door opened. Susan stood behind it, tears still streaming down her face.
"I don’t think we have much to say," Susan said, slinging her backpack over her shoulder. She rudely pushed Emily away. "Now this house belongs to you."
Susan ran out. She was extremely quick, and by the time Emily had reacted, she was already downstairs.
"Wait, Susan, where are you going?" By the time Emily had chased her downstairs, Susan had long since disappeared.
"The girl is giving me a headache," Emily couldn’t help complaining.
Emily immediately called Carl and asked him to help find Susan. She couldn’t let the pack think that the new Luna had lost the ex-Alpha’s daughter on her first day.
After all, she could clearly perceive the hostility of the natives towards her during the day, and though they called her Luna on the surface, the looks and tones of the men were cold.
The locals ostracize outsiders, and they are also unable to accept the new Alpha and Luna leading them.
She must find Susan as soon as possible.
