Chapter 106: Chapter 106 Bring Her to Me

Klaus strode to the hotel’s underground parking lot and yanked open the door, sliding directly into the driver’s seat. He glared angrily ahead, Emily’s words still echoing in his mind.

"She actually wants to divorce me." Klaus slammed his palm against the steering wheel, furious at the thought of Emily discussing the divorce so casually.

He had hunted for Elijah all night, but to no avail. Someone must have been secretly assisting Elijah in concealing his whereabouts. Otherwise, how could he have vanished without a trace? Damn it, he truly wanted to kill Elijah.

Klaus was exhausted and enraged, but he refused to return to that room. He didn’t want to confront the subject of divorce again.

He needed to get drunk. Only alcohol could numb his misery for a fleeting moment. Klaus pressed down on the accelerator, and the car roared away, quickly disappearing into the parking lot.

Klaus casually entered a bar, where a waitress in pink suspenders yawned and said, "Sir, we’re not open yet."

"Stop talking nonsense. Bring me wine... and women." Klaus pulled out a few bills from his wallet and flung them at the waitress. "Now."

The waitress’s smile broadened upon seeing the money. She flattered Klaus and said, "Let me take you to the VIP box. The wine and the women will be right over."

The waitresses then escorted Klaus to a VIP booth. They brought wine and two dancing girls clad in sexy black lace lingerie. Their faces were heavily made-up, but their eyes betrayed a hint of weariness.

As the ambiguous and vulgar music played, the two women immediately took to the pole-lined circular stage, writhing their voluptuous bodies and winking at Klaus.

Klaus removed his coat and leaned back on the black couch, sipping glass after glass. A brunette dancer stared seductively at Klaus, her bare back pressed against the silver steel pole, slowly sliding down. She got down on her knees and crawled towards Klaus.

Emily, since you’re already thinking about your future mate, why can’t I try another woman?

Klaus took a sip from his glass and snapped his fingers at the dancer. The next second, the woman was crawling obediently towards Klaus. She knelt between his knees, gazing at him like a submissive creature.

If only Emily had been as obedient as this woman. Klaus stared at the woman before him and poured a glass of wine from the table into her mouth. "Drink it."

The woman tilted her head back and obediently drank from Klaus’s hand, glass after glass.

"Please me," Klaus said in a hoarse voice.

The woman’s lips parted slightly, and she extended her pink tongue, licking one of Klaus’s fingers before sucking it into her mouth.

One of the women reached behind her to unclasp her lace bra, and in the next instant, her round, fair breasts were exposed to Klaus.

However, when she spread her legs and attempted to straddle Klaus’s lap, he pushed her to the ground.

He glanced indifferently at the woman on the floor. "Get out."

The woman was stunned for a moment, staring at Klaus in disbelief, her eyes filled with alarm and confusion. Before the other woman could comprehend what was happening, Klaus slammed a wine glass against the edge of the stage, causing her to abruptly stop dancing.

"You two, get out of here," Klaus growled, his voice laced with anger and irritation.

The two women scurried out, their steps hurried and flustered. Klaus was left alone in the booth. He turned off the music, and the room fell silent.

Klaus gazed at the broken shards of glass on the floor, the sharp pieces glinting coldly under the light. He smiled bitterly. "Emily, I’ve tried other women. I lost, and you’ve won again."

Suburb, Royal Villa

Inside the room, silence enveloped every corner like an invisible veil. After Elijah finished his video conference with the Secretary-General, he slowly closed the laptop’s lid, the soft click echoing through the quiet space. He leaned forward slightly, gently smoothing his brow with his fingers, as if to soothe the weariness and cares of his heart.

Just now, the Secretary-General had briefed him on a recent disturbance in the West. The leaders of the riots were reportedly former subordinates of his brother, and the rebels hoped to capitalize on Elijah’s absence to regain power.

Though Elijah had overthrown his brother’s rule, remnants of the party still existed, attempting to regroup under his brother’s flag. From time to time, the rebels hiding in Tibet would cause him trouble, like a swarm of flies in a foul-smelling ditch, wiping out one group only to see another spring up.

The Secretary-General advised Elijah that it would be prudent to return home as soon as possible, lest the situation escalate beyond control. Additionally, he couldn’t rely on the Dark Wizard to quell the rebellion single-handedly; the Wizard’s magic might slay a few thugs, but not an entire faction.

How fortunate it would be if he had the Immortal Legion at his disposal, where even a solitary undead warrior was rumored to vanquish a hundred ordinary werewolves. Possessing the Immortal Legion would be akin to wielding the most formidable weapon in the world.

However, since the Dark Wizard had not yet transformed him into an Immortal, Elijah must return and personally lead the troops against the rebels. Furthermore, if he lingered in the South, Klaus would eventually track him down.

Now that the negotiations with the King of the South had concluded, it was time for him to depart this place. Yet, he hesitated, due to Emily.

Before meeting Emily, his mind had been consumed by fanciful notions of her. He imagined her features, her voice, her demeanor, and every detail captivated him. Only after encountering her did he realize the depth of his longing for her, a fiery desire that could not be extinguished. His possessiveness of her grew exponentially with each passing moment, like an insatiable black hole devouring his sanity.

Since Emily was intertwined with the prophecy, why hadn’t he taken her with him? While he remained uncertain of the prophecy’s precise meaning, having Emily by his side would certainly not hurt, would it?

Moreover, removing Emily would weaken the North-South alliance and grant Klaus an opportunity for humiliation. Elijah couldn’t help but smile at the devious plan he had concocted.

Then, Elijah retrieved her phone and dialed a number. When Hayley’s voice answered on the other end, he immediately commanded, "We’re leaving the South tonight. Bring Emily to me."
