Almighty Father System-Chapter 346: Ruthless Primals.

Leo was sitting in his study, Lily had gone to school, and Snow was sitting across Leo reading the report from the marketing department and she said, "What do you think, when shall the sales start?"

The young man said, "After five days when the event ends, that would be the day when we open the pre-booking and at the same time bring the factories up to date in terms of output."

Snow nodded, and at this moment, Kyle walked over and knocked on the door. Leo said, "Come in."

The man pushed the door and came over, he looked at Snow and Leo before he said, "Simon just called, they have caught hold of three people who were trying to barge into the workshop last night."

Leo raised his brow and Kyle said, "They interrogated these men and found they were being directed by someone called Niam."

Leo turned to look at Snow and the lady said, "To think that Socrate would let his hound run free on this one."

Leo took a deep breath before he said, "Kyle, tell Simon to tighten the security, and keep an eye on the underground movements. Also, look for this guy Niam, I am sure since he has tried to act so free, he must be in the city. Locate him, I would like to meet the hound in person before I decide what to do with him."

Kyle nodded and then walked out of the place, before Snow asked, "You gonna kill that guy?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "From what we know Niam is a victim of abuse done to him by Socrate and is treated like a blade held by that old swine. If possible, I would like that knife to change hands and if not, then he can be sent away in the name of mental imbalance."

Snow smiled and shook her head, Leo then picked up the phone and called the number of a so-called old friend, "Hello, Miss Stellar, shall we have a tea in the evening? How about you come to my house?"

Stellar replied, "Mister Cardinal, while I appreciate the effort, I am afraid that I am incapable of accepting it because I am currently out of the city."

Leo thought and said, "Your father has set Niam after me, any hints about that?"

Stellar replied, "Yes, I do have the knowledge of that, but we don't trade for free, do we?"

Leo smiled and replied, "I like this about you, how about I allow your channel an exclusive with my Technology Director and a tour of the factory where the Cardinal Bot is made? I am sure you did catch onto that as well?"

The lady on the other side, replied, "You have a deal at your hands, Master Cardinal."

Just as Leo put the call down, he heard Snow saying, "So you like 'what' about Stellar Primal?"

Leo chuckled and said, "The fact that she knows her place and always treats the cooperation between us as business and not anything else. It saves me from denying her on the face."

Snow nodded and said, "You have learned how to please your wife, come let me reward you."

Then the two frolicked for a bit.

Outside the city, Simon sent his people all around the city to do a sweep and locate the so called Niam, but they failed. He had no idea where this guy would be, so he could only sigh and call Kyle about it. The latter told him to not worry because Niam would show himself eventually.

They took things in a rather passive way, that night something happened, one of the factories, where the robots were being assembled caught fire.

Leo woke up from the ringtone of his phone and he picked up the call, "Hello, Simon."

Simon replied, "Sir, there is a fire at the Western Second Factory. The entire place has turned into inferno."

Leo frowned and sat up in the bed as he asked, "What about the casualties? Our men, are they okay?"

He was worried that someone would get hurt and just them, Simon said, "All are gone. They are all gone."

Leo's heart clenched when he heard this and asked, "How many?"

Simon replied, "Four guards, all locals, and five backup members. The police traces of blood leading to the factory. They said that the assailants dragged the people back to the factory and set it on fire. The firefighters have just controlled the situation and are making an investigation."

Leo said, "I am coming right over."

Simon said, "But, Sir, there is a lot of media. They are demanding answers and responsibility."

Leo replied, calmly, "Tell them, I am coming. That should hold them down for a bit."

At that time, he called June and the lady picked up the call after a few rings, and he said, "June, awake CEO Hibiscal, and the director of Public relations. Something happened."

He gave a brief to June before he wore his black jacket and shoes and picked up the keys of his bike and headed outside the house silently. On the gate he found Jock and said, "Stay sharp tonight, I am heading out. Also, have your guns ready to deal with any thing."

Jock heard the last sentence and nodded seriously before passing the word to the people. Leo rode his bike out, alone.

The young man reached the factory, the whole place was filled with a mix of people. He noticed three police cars, and two black sedans, then he also noticed two fire trucks and two ambulances. They was also a van and he sighed, this scene was going to explode big.

He moved through the crowd of people and many wanted to scold him when they were stared down with a cold stare that caused their souls to chill. Leo then walked over to Simon who was standing on the other side of the barrier. One of the cops saw him and said, "Sir, this is a crime scene, you cannot go over."

Leo looked at the officer, and slowly took out his ID card and said, "I am Leo Cardinal Officer, this factory is a property of my company and I have a right to be here."

The officer was surprised, it was three in the middle of the night and this big shot was standing before him. He nodded and raised the tape for Leo to pass. This was the first time he saw a rich guy to come to the spot himself. Leo moved over to Simon and asked, "What is the status?"

Simon sighed and said, "The forensic and the Fire fighter teams have made an initial theory, they said that external combustibles were used to cause arson, this caused the speed to be fast and the heat was strong as well. The people inside had no chance to leave. They were..."

Leo turned to look at him and asked, "They were what?"

The man took a deep breath before he said, "They were alive when they were burned by the flames. None of them survived. Nine of them."

Leo noticed that the eyes of the young man's eyes were getting moist and he patted his back as he said, "Don't worry, I will handle this. These brothers will not be forgiven and the culprit will pay the same way. For now, arrange to meet the family members of these people, give them a good compensation and all the benefits. Also, arrange for a group to look after the families of the fallen and a psychological counsellor as well."

Simon nodded and at this moment, Leo spotted two people dressed in semi formals walking towards them. Simon said, "This is Detective Harmon and Detective Kajole. They are handling this case."

Leo nodded and the middle-aged detective Harmon took the lead to speak, "I didn't expect you to come over yourself, Mister Cardinal."

Leo looked at him and then asked, "What is this situation Detective? Did you find any clues on who could be involved in this act?"

His tone was calm but his eyes were cold and they took the detective by surprise. The latter then regained his composure as he said, "Mister Cardinal, we have managed to determine the cause of death for your men, the murderer was ruthless. He left the exhaust on, and the people..."

Leo raised his hand and said, "I know what happened to the men, I am asking if you have found any clues about who was involved in this heinous act."

This time his tone also turned cold, and Detective Kajole asked, "Sir, do you have suspicion on anyone?"

Leo shook his head after some thinking and said, "This facility was manufacturing the robots my company is about to put up for sale. Only a business competitor might have done such a thing but all the people in business are honorable, they wouldn't fall down to such a level."

Detective Kajole took a note of this situation and she looked at Detective Harmon before she said, "Sir, we will be investigating the footage from the CCTVs in the region as soon as we get back to the station. The surrounding shops and everything will be checked."

Leo nodded and said, "I will cooperate in this issue as much as you want, Detectives, but I want the person who did this behind the bars. The lives of my men is not cheap."

Then he turned around and headed to the media people who were clicking pictures and flashing the lights at his back. The people saw Leo approaching with a cold gaze and they paused. The young man stood before them and said, "Can you all spare some respect to the victims? Or have you all decided to traumatize the families of the victims in chase of ratings?"

His mood told the people that he was very angry and they all were suppressed before they started asking questions.
