Almighty Father System-Chapter 345: Alpha & Beta.

As Percie was speaking, the start-up sequence finished and they closed the front panels before retreating for a few steps. Then the people saw the robot with the alpha sign on his torso bow and say, "Greetings, Master Cardinal, Young Miss."

His voice was very much akin to a human and the tone sounded as if it was a human voice over, and the people were shocked by this, then Beta walked two steps and turned to look at Lily before she said, "Oh, hey, Lily, how are you?"

Lily smiled and replied, "I am fine, Beta, how are you feeling?"

Beta replied in a cheerful tone, "I am fine, before coming here, Rama himself oiled the joints so I am feeling very dandy."

Lily chuckled and Alpha scolded, "Beta, can you stop acting like you are a child. You are a full fledged Robot, why can't you act like one?"

The people were stunned, they watched the two robots bickering and suddenly Leo said, "Alpha, I would like to sit down and have some tea, can you see if you can arrange a chair for me?" 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Alpha replied, "Yes, right away, Sire."

Then the robot bowed and turned around to walk towards the stall entrance and it said to the people around, "Excuse me, ladies and gents. Can I get through?"

The people nodded in a daze and they saw the robot walk out of the crowd slowly. Someone commented, "Why is it moving so slowly?"

Just then Alpha walked out of the crowd and picked up speed. The people turned to look at the man and Leo smiled as he said, "The robots are designed on the basis of how a human body behaves in various situations. They can be faster and stronger, but only when the situation demands such a thing. As for the primary command, they cannot harm humans and that was why Alpha was walking slowly and carefully around you all."

That said, the people began to fish out their phones and someone asked, "Master Cardinal, may we interview this other robot?"

Leo nodded and said, "Please, go ahead."

The people around the stall gathered before Beta. The robots had a screen on the face, but that was only to display LED lights around the eyes to and a couple of lines to act as lips. They changed when the robots talked or displayed emoticons.

The reasoning behind this design language was the fact that humans were always attracted towards light.

While the crowd was going nuts over Beta, the people all saw a black robot walking around the pavilion with a rather human-like vibe and posture looking at various stalls, and then suddenly it stopped and said, "Excuse me, Sir."

The voice attracted many people and they saw that the robot was talking to a man who was wearing a blue vest and ID card. They were the staff of the pavilion management team. The man was stunned and asked, "Yes?"

Alpha displayed a faint smiling emote on the face, and asked, "Hello, could I trouble you to arrange a few chairs? I am tasked to bring them over for Mister Cardinal in stall number 667."

The people were stunned and then the staff nodded in a daze before pointing to the side and said, "You can take those."

Alpha turned to look at the side, and found five chairs stacked one upon another and said, "Thank you very much, have a good day."

Then it walked up to the chairs, picked them up, and then headed back to the stall, followed by the tail of audience. This happened not in just one place, the word spread, many of the stall handlers also began to talk and post videos. They were just temporary workers and they were going to be jobless after this. Some sent the videos to their bosses and the word spread like a fire in the dry prairies.

Alpha reached the stall back again and then he began to set up the chairs around quickly, before he turned to Leo and asked, "Master Cardinal, would you like tea or coffee?"

Leo said calmly, "Well, can you brew tea in this place?"

Alpha appeared to be shocked and then quickly replied, "I apologize, Sir. I forgot that we have no supplies in this place. How about I just make a run to the coffee and tea machine to get a few cups for everyone?"

Leo nodded and said, "I will have an espresso then and for the rest of the people, you should ask them."

Alpha nodded and then he asked the people about what they wanted and left to deal with the task again. At this moment, Leo said, "If anyone of you wants to interact with Alpha to check its capabilities, feel free to talk to him, but don't take too much time, I really want a coffee."

The people smiled and thanked him and dashed away excitedly. On the other side, Beta dazzled everyone, she even sang a song in a different language for the people. This shocked everyone so much that they had no words to express. Lily on the other side, suddenly said, "Uncles, aunties, can I play with Beta? You have seven days to dig into them."

Beta revealed a stunned emote and took a few steps back while covering her chest and said, "Hey, Lily, save me, I don't want them to violate me."

The people were stunned and Lily chuckled, before she went onto clarify the situation.

In the news flash, the footages from various sources began to surface that Butterfly technologies, the primary company of the Cardinal Groups have produced robots that are capable of not only communication but also they have achieved proper movement. The estimated value of the company began to climb and the office was immediately flooded with appointment requests.

Leo handled the press and media before he and Lily got in the car and returned home. He promised Lily that he would have Alpha and Beta stationed at the house. The child liked them and they were the first of their kind. As the event footage went viral. The finance department discussed about how much they should charge for these bots and Little Cherry headed the meeting.

As Leo and Lily were heading back to the airport, Percie Hibiscal picked up a call and replied, "Major Ling, we are definitely willing to discuss this issue, but I am not yet in the city, if you don't mind you can send someone to talk about this, but allow me to say the bitter words first. We are a company and we have to support the livelihood of many people, unlike the last time, we cannot go out on a whim and directly give you discounts.

Major, I understand, but the last cooperation has left a big sour taste in my mouth. The company and Mister Cardinal has even donated a big amount of money to aid the people but still we were asked to give an unfair discount. If this continues, how can the company survive and how can we collaborate to support the nation?"

Leo raised his brow and after the call ended Percie Hibiscal sighed and said, "I apologize for this, Sir. The military is rather keen on cooperation. Ever since the first video was released, they have been texting. I had to attend."

Leo nodded and said, "It is fine, but make sure that while we are supporting the nation we should not undermine the lives of the employees at the company, and also don't earn the money that is not supposed to be earned."

The lady nodded and then they boarded the flight heading back to the Angkor City. Rama Kashyap took charge of the event as the technical director. The market was clamoring with the demand, many people wanted the robots, but the company's social media page only told them to wait for the coming week as they would understand the proper features that the robots offered.

After the speculated success of this model, Leo then told the Deputy Director of the Tech department to come up with robots that are equipped with medical equipments. The first model was rather service oriented and the medical version could be given to the hospitals and the remote regions where the facilities are scarce. They would be supervised by doctors only, and would be equipped with trackers and self destruct codes in case someone decides to steal a bot and sell it off.

Humans were not as unpredictable as the people thought they were.

In the Tyrant Group office, Socrates looked at the videos with his face brimming with cold hatred. He knew that his company was at least one year away from the basic fluency in motor skills, and as for the communication ability, that was something else entirely, he didn't even think this far, yet Leo Cardinal had already delivered such a product to the market.

This made him pissed off and he looked at his secretary before saying, "Call Niam for me."

The secretary left and Socrates mumbled, "Cardinal, you brought this upon yourself."
